Avoid the scam! Had iPad Pro screen fixed (only glass was broken, but was told had to replace the WHOLE LCD and screen). The new screen is so horrible (very faded, pencil does not work, and when you touch home button the screen turns white). Went back to get it looked at again and was told my finger is too big, and that is why HOME button makes screen have artifacts. Now iPad is a POS, and I am stuck with it. read more

These guys are definitely ripping people off. I have an iPhone 6s and had a cracked screen. I went to them after researching prices at Apple. I thought that a business like this would be cheaper in order to get more clients away from Apple. I was wrong. The guys were friendly enough, but when I approached them with my problem the one guy I was dealing with immediately told me $150. I knew this was way too high and Apple could do it for $129. I told him this, and he said Apple would charge more and say the case was bent(this didn't happen at the Apple Store). We went back and forth maybe 3 times and I got him down to $120 pretty quickly. I decided to just go to apple in the end because there is no way they are ordering parts directly from Apple based on the $120 price point. I went to a few of the other places in the mall that day and discovered the same pattern. If you have and iPhone just go to Apple. These guys are charging you crazy prices for work and parts that would probably just invalidate your Apple warranty. read more

I will say right off the bat that the two guys who dealt with my wife, Shawn and Dennis, DELIBERATELY conspired to sell her a worthless screen protector and to steal her money. Extreme wording, right? I'll say it another way to make sure I'm clear. As they were applying the screen protector to our teen son's phone with Mom looking on, Shawn and Dennis both knew from the offset that the screen protector would fail and once my wife handed over the money, that she would have no recourse once the screen protector peeled off in her hands. They did this, I'm convinced, for a number of reasons, chief among them being that my wife has little command of the English language and is just getting a toehold on how the American culture operates. And when I'm through, you'll be convinced too. While I was busy in the Palisades Mall Lego store with my two small boys, my wife and teen son broke away from me to visit the Mobile Couture kiosk. Shawn (by the way, he has business cards with no last name printed) applied a screen protector to my teen son's phone while Mom looked on. Shawn insisted Mom pay cash. (Even though Mobile Couture takes credit cards, I later found out.) Fifteen minutes later, the screen protector begin to separate from the phone. She returned to Mobile Couture with the defective screen protector. Dennis - another guy who hands out business cards with ONLY his first name on them - took the reigns from Shawn and showed Shawn in front of my wife and son how to correctly apply a new screen protector. Forty-five minutes later the SECOND screen protector began to separate from the phone's face. My wife returned to the Mobile Couture kiosk for the second time. Dennis applied a THIRD screen protector. This time, it stayed on for about two hours and then fell clean off. We were already home by then. The following Sunday my wife returned to Mobile Couture and was told that Shawn would be in the next day. Finally, I got involved and dropped in to Mobile Couture in search of Shawn. Dennis was there, told me Shawn was on vacation 'til the following Friday, and was careful to tell me their policy of issuing NO REFUNDS. That Friday, I discovered both Dennis and Shawn working the Mobile Couture kiosk. They both told me that I couldn't get a cash refund and that they would adhere another screen protector to my son's phone for an additional $10. They also said something that was perhaps the biggest boldfaced lie to date: That the Palisades Mall prohibits returns on purchased items. That was when the light went on for me that I was dealing with dishonest people. I immediately stopped negotiating for a return, stepped back to take a photo of the kiosk and marched to the Palisades Mall office to write up a complaint. That's when Dennis, seemingly annoyed that I'd snapped a photo and verbally egged on by Shawn, stepped from the Mobile Couture kiosk in an aggressive manner and challenged me to meet him outside to settle things. I left the scene immediately. So, just take a read of other complaints here, like Jim15ratm..., Alex R and Allen G., and you can see that this company and its employees are guilty of theft by deception. And they love it when vulnerable people with cash in hand come to them to purchase their defective items. read more

WOW! Talk about awesome service! So I wanted to get my phone fixed because my front screen broke, and I found this place near Best Buy. Now I know that there are a couple of phone fixing stores in the palisades mall, but I wanted to try this one out. The guy was really good and he got my phone fixed in a jiffy! Not to mention, the price was very good! $50 to get your phone fixed! It's quite a deal! I'd recommend coming here if your phone ever does get broken. You'll be glad you did! read more

If I could give this place a 0 stars, I would. I had two experiences with them. The first being a broken phone screen up at college. Took the college shuttle to the mall, but unfortunately it didn't go to Garden State Plaza so I ended up with no Apple store at Palisades to take it to. I ended up here. The guy checks it out, says it will be a challenge but "he'll work a miracle for me". Right. So they end up taking two hours longer than they said they would, and when I get back to the stand when they are finally finished, the guy said some B.S. about a "wire fix" on the inside that they needed to take care of, which apparently is "normally $80, but I'll hook you up bro", and charged me $40.. for a service I was not even informed of and was not ever agreed upon, and said I had a physical warranty for the fix as well. Whatever. At this point they had my phone and there was not much I could do. When I tried to pay, Chase flagged them as potential fraud (lol should have been a red flag) and kept denying my card at their vendor. So my gf had to use her card so we could get out of there and make our shuttle back. Cool, I was overcharged and had my time wasted, but at least my phone was fixed and that was that, right? Wrong. I read a review here right after I got back to see other peoples experiences, and saw stories of poor repair jobs gone wrong after a couple weeks of use. Lo and behold, about two to three weeks later, my phones screen STARTS LIFTING OFF THE REST OF THE PHONE. Whatever adhesive or material they use is garbage and does not stick to your device longer than a couple weeks. I know this because I went back about a month or so later of dealing with a half removed phone screen (which happened completely on its own, I would know if i had somehow ripped the screen off myself), and confronted them. The guy claimed that physical damage was in fact, not covered by a warranty after all, so either the first employee lied about giving me one, or this guy was lying. Again, they take your phone to "look at it" and call you on a different line to negotiate and try to reel your sale in. The employee did not seem very happy when I said I wasn't interested in paying for something they caused. He brought down the price of the screen replacement down from $150 (their standard charge) to $60 (which should tell you how much their screens must really be worth since at $100 he told me thats not even the price of the screen which is a complete lie they're probably worth like $5-10) with me continually telling him I didn't want them to "repair" it. However, when he went that low I knew if i didnt take it there was a chance they could mess with my phone, which was in their possession, and blame it on the phone malfunctioning, as he was telling me would happen over the phone as I told him I didn't want it repaired by them. They effectively held my phone hostage so I agreed to the $60, knowing full well I was disputing this. They say it will take them 10 minutes (lol), I knew this wasn't true, and it ended up taking 2 hours. I finally get it back and the employee starts talking about how there "were issues" with the charging port, and I cut him off telling him I am not paying a single cent above what we agreed, and he hands me my phone back and I pay and gtfo. Disputed the charge with Chase and got it refunded. F*ck these slime balls. My phone screen has unsurprisingly come half off my phone again, and is being held down by a bit of electrical tape until I can get an upgrade. I'd like everyone to know just how awful this place is. read more

The guy behind the counter told me he would give me the BEST price of $140, when I took my iPad to walk away he said $120. The guy behind the counter said he had to replace some LCD that was broken under the glass that's why it was so expensive. I went downstairs to the place next to Macy's and they replaced the glass for 86 bucks and it works like its brand new.(Look at my next review) read more

Do yourself a favor and do not give these guys your money. My girlfriend and I went there a few months ago to fix a simple cracked screen, 50$. Today I went back because her screen cracked again and this time it was 270$. He then proceeded to tell me that I'm crazy and that can't be true that same repair was never below 200$. He cited the coronavirus as the reasoning, I guess when there's a pandemic there's a shortage of iPhone screens... absolutely pathetic. WARNING!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!! Purchased a new screen for an iphone 7 on Sat. night. When I got home 15 min. later I noticed the screen was cracked. As it was late I didn't bring it back but took a photo with date & time. When I returned a few days later ( do not live near mall) they would NOT replace it although I paid $160.00. They asked why we left the mall if the phone was cracked. Obviously it was not noticed until I got home and looked at it. Bad job, cheap parts, my Ipad mini had fallen & they fixed my screen for $140.00 cost. They gave me a case and the screen broke while inserting into their case within minutes. We sent them an image and notified them. They insist that we dropped it (pointing to the dent that broke the screen before they fixed it) Their installation or their screen material is the fault and all we wanted was for them to redo it for us. Rip off artist of the first kind. The kid at the counter can't do a thing for you the culprit is some where in the back. The Sheriff will be there some day to shut this place. Fixed my screen in no time flat. He told me he would give me a free screen protector, to replace the one they would have to take off. 6 screen protectors and two actual screens later, my phone still won't accept a screen protector completely. There is always a border of air no matter what they did. I just applied a new one, and the same thing happened. I'm sure their protectors are fine, but it seems their screen are second-rate. Going here was one of the worst experiences I've ever had dealing with a company in my life. If you can even call this shit hole a company. They told me 30 minutes to replace my screen. I come back in 30 and they tell me they need another 30 min so I come back and they tell me the screen was defective so they need another hour. I come back an hour later and they tell me they thought they had another screen for my phone but that was the last one so I'll have to come back tomorrow. I got pissed and told them to just give me my phone back as is and I'll go somewhere else. The guy was insisting I keep my phone there and kept trying to get me to leave it overnight until I got pissed off and told him to give me my phone now. So he says he'll go get it and I said I'd go with him because I didn't trust them at this point. I could tell he didn't want me to follow him and he literally tried to speed walk away from me and was weaving around people on the escalator to try to get to the other location downstairs before me. We get to the first floor location and my phone is on the table with the battery bent so badly that I couldn't put the backing piece on. They both denied bending the battery and even tried to tell me that I did it. At that point I wanted to choke one of them to death. So I ended up leaving with no screen and a bent battery and wasn't able to use my phone that night or the next day until I found another place. Had the LCD screen on my phone replaced. Worked fine until LCD screen that was replaced fell out of the phone 2 days later. Screen protector shattered and LCD actually had a hole in it. Took it back for another replacement which I was willing to pay for (I hadn't learned better yet), and got the run around for two days. Terrible place. They told me it would take 30 minutes for mine and my friends phone. Came back 30 minutes later they said 10 minutes. Came back 10 minutes later we had to wait 50 minutes for him to tell me my phone was not only still broken, but was clearly in worse condition than before. I went to click the home button and it wouldn't work. Tried to tell the guy and he blamed it on me. Fixed my friends phone screen but then broke the volume on her phone so we had to wait another 30 minutes and they still charged her full price. Horrible, Terrible, Worst place to go. This happened on March 29, 2016. I went there to fix my cell phone screen. In the beginning they looked kind,.but after an hour it turned to the most terrible experience in my life. I haven't treated tat way ever!!! Here is the story. My phone is black LG G2. To make the long story short, I was shocked to find that they put WHITE screen on my BLACK phone. The store manager harassed me and my husband saying what was the matter with the white top on the black phone. The store manager yelled my husband " I will break your neck" and " I will physically attack you!!" as my husband tried to explain that I was not happy. They claimed that we STILL had to pay the full price to take my cell phone though they did wrong service on my phone. I was not comfortable to leave my cell phone there because I didn't know what they were going to do with my cell phone. The store manager came out of the booth and tried to attack my husband. I had to call the police. Three officers came, and the manager changed his attitude suddenly. Before the officers arrived, the manager insisted that we had to pay for the labor to take off the WHITE screen if we were not happy with it. They ruined my phone and told us to PAY if we wanted to take off the WHITE screen to go back to the original condition. It was ridiculous. My husband and I felt very insecure and scared because the manager tried to attack my husband. Here is one thing you better to know if you want to go to this place. 1.Please beware of there over-pricing. I didn't know the manager has 7 store in the mall. The funny thing is the first floor store (near best buy) they asked me $175 and offered $145 for the best offer. As I visited the second floor store (near JC Penny, I didn't know that they ran by the same owner) they asked $140 in the beginning and then offered $100 as I hesitated. They even offered NO TAX if I paid with CASH. Hmmm..... I don't like this dirty business. 2.Please be sure if they have the stock before you leave your cell phone there. If they don't have the stock, they will repair your phone with whatever colored-material whatever available. if you don't like the result, they will ask you to pay for their labor to go back to the original condition. 3. Don't go there you alone. I couldn't record the incident as the manager tried to attack my husband. I was calling 911 at that moment so I couldn't record. The manager changed his words and attitude after the officers arrived. 4.Please double check your phone before you leave. My husband had to go back to find the SIM card case. They left it there.. I m not sure it was an accident or they did on purpose. Finally, I had very bad experience with the business. Went back the next day to be fixed again they said it would take half an hour it took 2 and my screen STILL doesnt work i have to press the letters EXTRA hard and still nothing. Stay away. They're sketchy and dishonest. I asked them to change out my phone battery, which I provided to them because it was "unable to charge due to overheating". They charged me $50 + tax for "labor only". I knew that was expensive but I was frustrated and just wanted my phone working/able to charge again. When I left, they said "everything is good". The phone showed 50% battery so I felt ok about it. When I got home, the phone wouldn't charge, with the same message. I went back the following morning to see what they could do and they stated they weren't responsible and that it must have been another issue. It would have been nice to know this before I left the first time instead of wasting a few trips and digging for answers. They claimed to have charged the battery on a charging pack and never actually checked to see if it charged on the phone. Anyway, I was scammed into paying $80 to get my phone fixed. At this point I really needed my screen fixed so I decided to pay it. The guy said I have to give him my lock screen password "to test if the screen works" when they're done... Very sketchy. They told me 30 mins but it actually took 1h 30mins... Extremely sketchy. After a few weeks the screen starts lifting and the touch sensors don't work. I bring it back and their employee Eddie tells me that a few out of 100 screens they receive are defective and it's not their problem (yes he literally said that). He then goes to tell me if there were any problems I would have to bring it back within 10 days for them to fix it. An absolute waste of time. 100% do not recommend.
