Andy is definitely a pro! My Droid 2 would no longer turn on, as it seemed the power button was broken on the inside. I brought it, first, to the service provider store, and they couldn't do anything. They just recommended I buy another phone. No way, I thought. I knew it could be fixed, and so I found Andy. He fixed my phone! He is also very friendly and reasonably priced. I also learned that he is a computer engineer. So, I plan to bring in my husband's external hard drive to see if he can retrieve his files. I highly recommend Andy for your phone repairs! Thank you, Andy! read more

Pretended to fix my phone screen was completely broken after arriving home and would not issue a refund He clearly doesn't know what he's doing. Hung up the phone and said too bad. Not good service and charges 180 for ten mins to fix a phone. Scam! read more

Amazing honest service. Something that's hard to find these days. Andy fixed our Son's iPhone 16 by replacing the screen. He was quick, efficient and honest. Five stars all the way!! read more

Just posted this to google review but long story short, Andy repaired our 4th gen ipad pro 11 inch's screen. It had pressure damage like someone stepped on it, screen was hazy/snowy. Apple wanted to replace to the tune of about $500. We dropped off on a Fri and it was done on Tues. Amazing! THANK YOU! read more

I was looking for a local shop to resolve issues I had on my desktop computer. Based on some reviews I found Andy. He got me back on line quickly and at a very reasonable price. I recommend checking him out if you have problems with your phone or pc. read more

The glass on my iPad Pro cracked because my daughter accidentally dropped it. I brought it Andy's store. He ordered the necessary part and repaired within 24 hours. I also asked him to smooth out the corners since they were rough as well due to multiple drops over the years. He was able to do that as well, the iPad looks and feels almost brand new. Andy is very friendly person and his prices are very reasonable. read more

Every time I called or contacted I've had a great experience with Andy. The repairs were quick and reasonable.

Super nice professional and reasonable. Fair price. Fast service. Definitely recommend.

Andy is through and through the most knowledgeable honest phone repair service. His prices are fair but the best value is that he does things the right way and no problems later. Highly recommended! read more

Was prepared to overpay for a replacement back to my cracked iPhone back, and was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. What's more Andy was super professional and quick. The phone looks great. Will 100% go back (if I have to). read more

I highly recommend this place (again)! I went in for a battery replacement on my cell phone months ago and today I went in for a screen protector replacement. Andy provided fast, courteous service as usual. I called ahead to make sure he had my model protector and he did. He removed my old cracked protector, cleaned my screen, and installed the new protector within a couple minutes. Price is right, too! Felt like I got a new phone! read more

Don't let the name fool you. This repair shop isn't limited to fixing just phones and tablets. Andy, the owner, is a computer expert (an engineer in fact) and also does excellent & reasonably-priced repairs on desktop computers, laptops, as well as various other devices. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he is one of the most honest, down-to-earth and friendliest people you'll have the pleasure to meet. it's also very obvious that he genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of his work. I only used this shop for the first time on 5/23 for my 2009 Gateway that suddenly went dead. Prior to that, I had been using the other computer shop in Closter for repairs. Thankfully it turned out to be just the power supply this time. I'm very glad I decided to give this place a try. Truly an outstanding small business which I will continue to use in the future when needed. read more

I brought my fathers iPhone in for battery replacement. Andy the owner quickly and accurately diagnosed his phones battery was faulty and that the charging port needed to replaced after cleaning and testing! Surprisingly cheap replacement. Quick and clean repair. He even changed my iPhone's screen which was cracked, and cleaned my charging port and speaker ports for free! Both of us had our phones back within the hour and both phones are working like new again! Couldn't have been more satisfied! I highly recommend you use Andy for any and all repairs needed to your phones, tablets, or computer! read more

Great guy! Fixed my note 9 charging port in 35-40 minutes and it worked perfectly with my car and charger afterwards. Price was very fair as well! Appreciate it! read more

The staff here is very good. And Andy, who runs and apparently owns the place, is the most pleasant, knowledgable, and accommodating tech guy you'll find around. Replaced my failing iPhone battery, flaky charging port, and screen protector in a flash, then walked me through resetting the Settings options for different apps in order to get optimal battery life and performance. Plus, he did it all for a very reasonable price and it took less than half an hour--time enough for me to go get a cup of coffee and some fresh air. The storefront is just around the curve at the end of town. It's a very convenient location but I only hope people don't miss it since it's very easy to pass it by. If you're in the area and need any phone, tablet, computer tech support or items, make sure you go here first. Highly capable, reputable, reasonable, and friendly. read more

This place is terrific! I needed to fix my old iPhone screen so I could have he phone ready for my son's bday. It was fixed while I waited with no appointment. The gentleman who works there is so friendly and helpful. The wait and cost is much less than the apple store. I recommend! read more

So there I was another day at the office and my iPhone 6 on my work table. I swivel my chair because you know #corporatelife and BOOM! My iPhone 6 is now on the floor face down. The height from my desk to the floor is about 3 feet so I didn't think there would be any damage. I also had that fancy glass screen protector. *cue dramatic music* I pick up my phone and then I start slowly weeping because the screen is cracked and the top right corner of my screen is completely broken off. Life flashes before my eyes and I think about all the group messages, what's app, and group me messages I was going to miss. Life is all about moving on so I yelp iPhone repair nearby my office. Most places were too far amor they closed after I got out of work. Then Phone Repairs Pro came up which was only 7 mins away from me. With low expectations I head to the place after work and walk into the nice bright store. Behind the counter was a man and he greeted me with such a great big smile and asked me how he could assist me. This mans name was Andy. I told Andy about my iPhone cracked screen woes and he quickly said that he can fix it 20 mins. Then he asked if there were any other problems so I let him know the charging port was finicky. With a big smile he let me know that he can fix both within 40 mins. Andy's demeanor just let me know that I could trust this man. So I went next door and got some sushi. I didn't have my phone so I read the menu front to back. Within 20 mins I came back an my phone was fixed! The screen worked great and the charging port was new! I was so happy because my weekend was saved! After that he let me know how much it was and it was a bargain compared to other places. We chitchatted for a bit and he mentioned that he has been doing this for years and he has background in computer science. Even if you're 30 mins away from this location I would def recommend Andy! Great service and great customer interaction. Five stars all the way! read more

So my son's screen "broke" for the third time and I was desperate to get it fixed because we were leaving for vacation. I did a yelp search and found Andy!! The second I walked in I was greeted with a big smile. He is so sweet and very knowledgeable. Not only did he fix the screen but he straightened it bc it was slightly bent. Mind you, the prior technicians said that that issue could never be fixed. Andy had a big selection of cases... I of course bought an Otterbox this time around.. in hopes that it wouldn't get cracked again! He answered all my questions and was never pushy to sell something. I HIGHLY recommend Andy. His presence, etiquette and knowledge made my experience seamless. I really can't say enough good things about his business:) read more

My friend recommended me to this guy. I feel terrible not asking for his name, nevertheless , he was so helpful and accommodating. I don't trust mall kiosks with repairing any phone or buying cases, they're notorious for giving a menial service and ripping off customers. Go to this guy. The shop is clean, and he's a computer engineer! He gave me a free tempered glass on top of that! read more

I just went to Phone Repairs Pro to get a battery replacement and glass protector. The work was done no more than 10 minutes. Very professional and courtesy treatment from the owner. He has not been at this location very long but we can sure use his services in the Closter area. read more

Place uses bad, cheap parts with no warranty at all. 3 weeks after my daughter's iPhone X screen was replaced (paid $150 for replacement work), the screen started getting vertical white lines and coming off OLED separating from frame (phone was never dropped or abused in any way). Been 3 weeks only and still having the receipt from repair, I told my daughter to call the place as it clearly showed that the screen the place installed is defective. When she called, she was told that the issue is not repair shop problem and can can not do anything about it. So $150 waisted. I strongly recommend do not waste your money in this place as the work they do has no warranty and parts used are cheap quality knock offs similar to once sold on eBay for 1/3 of price (non original OEM parts). read more

Would give 10 stars if I could.Andy was simply AWESOME! First time here (he was recommended by T-mobile). Replaced my iPhone 6 Plus screen in 15 minutes! Friendly, reliable and prompt service. He even included a screen protector! Thanks so much Andy! We will definitely be back. Really pleased with the service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

The Service was GREAT! Not to mention, the time in which it took get my screen fixed was within the range of the time given. I cannot tell you how much that means to me. I am busy-bodied. I do not like to stay one place too long, so it was great having walked to the convenience store to get a coke and take out some cash from the ATM, then walking back to establishment to find out that my phone was DONE! Five stars is simply not enough to rate this place, I can tell you that much. read more

Our computer tower was making a loud hissing noise which, after the research, we attributed to dust inside. We were afraid to open it ourselves so my husband inquired in this store. He brought it in later, within a day the dust was vacuumed out; my husband was even shown pictures of "before" and "after". Great service at a reasonable price! read more

I screamed when my iPhone 6 took a brief swim because I remembered how much it cost to repair another one. I recalled seeing a phone repair shop open a few blocks away, downtown Closter by the big clock. Andrew was calm and opened it. Came back in a couple of hours and it worked! Also put new glass on mine and spouse's. Better deal than any other shop. And Andrew is fabulous. Worth a trip. read more

This is my first review and I've been using Yelp for years, but this place is so good that I have to leave a 5-star review. Andy, the owner, is courteous, professional, and fast. On the phone when I simply asked for a quote he wanted to make sure I knew where he was located. When I got there, it was easy as just dropping off my phone with the broken screen and when I came back it was as good as new. I actually shattered the phone again the following week and he helped me out quickly with a discounted rate. Excellent. Thanks, Andy! read more

its cheap and expensive - fixed an I phone screen paid more for an additional protective glass screen that should be hammering resist - with in 2 days the phone fell both phone and screen protectors were shattered. went back to Andy and there was no warranty for the product. read more
