Nick was the one that gave me and my husband the Wellcome here, Then came Candy another employee, and both were very kind and professional with the information; they explained us about how it works to get a battery replacement with AppleCare. I paid zero dollars because of the benefits of AppleCare; I paid every month and amount and it covers battery replacement I barely opened the store with the employees ...10 A.M; it was low Flow of costumers. I returned 2 hours later And everything was set up in my phone. I just signed my receipt, gave them a review at Google real time with a gadget they had tapping my phone!!! They deserve stars. I brought in my MacBook Pro 2016 for repair specifically due to faulty 'I' and spacebar keys. I am a business user on the road every day, and the laptop had been practically unusable without an external keyboard for months. I discovered iStore in Englewood, NJ through Apple's support website and brought in the MacBook for repair. I also noted a secondary problem with display discoloration at time of drop-off. When dropping off, they initially demanded a deposit of $250 for repairs despite my valid Apple Care coverage. I noted that this was not my experience with any repairs I have ever had done (always at Apple Stores). After several passes they finally waived the deposit. Four business days later I got a call that the technician (on site from what I understand) had replaced the screen and deemed the keyboard fully functional and not needing repair or replacement. I told the person calling that the keyboard was dysfunctional, that it was a known issue with the hardware, and that the machine is unusable unless it is repaired. I was told by their representative that it did work, and that maybe when I pick it up I will realize it really did work (without any repair performed). They refused to further investigate the keyboard failure. On picking up the computer, I opened it immediately and demonstrated to their representative that the keyboard was completely faulty. After witnessing it, he acknowledged that it did in fact not function correctly. I told him I had enough, and that I was taking it directly to an Apple store for repair. So fed up with the experience, I purchased a new computer online and utilizing the existing MacBook as a trade-in. I brought the MacBook into an Apple Store for repair two days later, where the keyboard was in fact identified as faulty and was replaced under Apple Care (Repair Number R416714555). It has now been utilized as a trade in. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a computer, iStore was argumentative and unhelpful the entire time. I have also provided the same feedback in Apple's survey of repair experience. I imagine the store owner will respond within Yelp and indicate that it was beyond their control, or somehow my creation, but just to be clear - this was a complete failure on iStore's part in communication, in their interest in actually repairing the device, and in general customer relations. read more

Made an appt through AppleCare for this location because it was the closest location to me. When I arrived, they couldn't find my reservation. They took all my info anyway, and took the phone in for repair. Then they asked me for my phone password, which seems to me like a MAJOR SECURITY ISSUE. Of course I didn't give it to them. When I suggested that I could come back and put in the code myself when they needed to open the phone and test it, they said I was not allowed in the back with the technician. Is this for real?? Take my phone password and then work on my unlocked phone hidden away in a back room? RED FLAG. In the end, it turned out there was a Find My iPhone feature that could be turned off remotely, but getting to that step ended up taking an extra day because they had my phone and I had to use a 3rd party to coordinate. Why didn't they tell me to do that when I dropped it off 2 days ago? Disappointed & frustrated. read more

These guys are professional and know a ton. They are friendly and they have the patience to talk you through everything. It's not crowded at all and there's always appointments available. I wanted to love them because of their convenient location. I thought having my iPhone 8 battery changed would be an easy thing, but apparently, as I learned from a tech friend, the tight quarters inside the phone make it a delicate operation. When I got my phone back with the new battery, I discovered that the on/off button on the phone no longer worked. If when I went back to the store to show them this they had just admitted what had happened then I would have at least felt they were honest and that it was an honest mistake that, of course, they would fix. But they denied that they had done anything and told me that I needed to go to an Apple Store. Thankfully, Apple took care of the situation by giving me a new phone. They also said next time I need a repair to go to an Apple Store and I will. Lesson learned. read more

I had a broken key hinge on my macbook pro, I came there with an appointment looking for help. The person behind the counter seemed totally uninterested. He was not polite and passive agressive. His solution was to replace the entire keyboard, battery, and top case. LOL At least a few hundred dollars. Great alternative to going to GS Paramus Apple store that is always insanely busy. iStore in Englewood is much more relaxed and the level of experience is equal or better to any Apple store I've ever been. My MacBook Pro needed a larger hard drive and the turnaround time was a few days. While I was in the store I picked up a charging plug for my iPhone and a cute cover for my nephew's iPad that was on sale. I'm planning to bring my iPhone for service today because I'm having an issue with text messages disappearing from powering down at night and powering up in the morning. I see and hear alerts that I have new text messages on the home page in the morning after powering up, but then when I try to retrieve them after I put in my security code "poof!" Gone! I've called both Verizon and Apple support with no success and now I'll bring it to the iStore for help. read more

Stay away. There is a reason way the Genius Bar at Apple stores are busy and this store is ghost town. They put in a new battery in my iPhone and not only was the new battery not hooked up right, they fried my mother board. I probably saved $100 bucks by using them but its going to cost me much more to repair my phone from the damage they did. Pros: was able to make an appointment, go in, and speak to the rep. Everyone was wearing a mask and being safe. The person was knowledgable. Cons: this is a huge price gouge. I was quoted a price of $599 for a battery replacement (3x as high as found on the Apple.com site), quoted a non-refundable $117 "diagnostic fee" (these are apparently free by actual Apple reps), and a $599 fee for something I later found out was COVERED by Apple entirely. That's right: quoted $1315 here when at a Genius bar it would have cost me $199. More Cons: AND it's not even faster! They didn't have the part in stock, which meant that it would have been a week to replace it. Mailing it right back to Apple would be a 5-day turnaround--2 days faster! read more

WAIT FOR THE END TO SEE THE HILARIOUS PART! RIDICULOUS! I had one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced regarding tech and getting my computer fixed. I needed my MacBook Pro 15 fixed before my departure in 15 days, but at the apple store they told me that the timings were longer due to Covid-19, so I decided to take it at iStore and see if they could do it faster since they have the lab in store and I clearly tell them about my flights date. Until here everything sounds amazing because they tell me they can replace my defective keyboard in 5 business days (day when I left the MacBook Friday June 26th so I am expecting my MacBook to be ready the next Friday ). The following Friday July 3rd since I haven't received any mail, message or phone call from them I decide to call and check. They tell me that they received the part from apple late so they are gonna be ready on Monday July 6th and they will call me for pickup. At that moment I think: "ok it can happen that apple took longer to send the piece so if its two days more no big deal". It's Monday July 6th and I am more than ready to go get my pc because I have a flight In literally 4 days, so since I haven't received any call yet I decide to call them again and see what is going on. AT THIS POINT THINGS START TO GET FUNNY. The person on the phone tells me: "your Mac book is not ready yet, but its gonna be ready THIS WEEK for sure". THIS WEEK?THIS WEEK? That's when I lose my patience and tell them to stop playing with me because this is so unprofessional and they answer me that the computer will actually be ready the day after and that they are sorry for the inconvenience. BEST PART NOW! the day after Tuesday July 7th I receive a call at noon saying that my Mac is ready. Yuppy! I GO TO PIC UP MY MACBOOK THAT HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE SPACE BAR (class problem on Macbooks from 2017 apple said), so of course the first thing that I do is open the computer put in my password and check if everything is okay. Believe it or not as soon as I press couple of keys I realise that the caps Lock was getting stuck every time I pressed it. So really frustrated I let the guy standing in front of me know about it and he tries to convince me that is nothing just saying "oh yeah its a sticky key". I loses my mind at that point and start telling them that that was ridiculous that they let me wait 10 days instead of 5 to give me my Mac back broken. One guy that was serving another customer and had no idea about what was going on turns around and says "it's 5 BUSINESS days" trying to respond to the fact that I said that it took them 10 day. But the poor guy obviously didn't know anything so I just told me the date I left my Mac and he turned around and stayed quiet right away (he thought he was smart). Well at the end I ask the manager of the store to give me a signed paper that states that after they gave me back the product it was still broken so that none of the damage was on me. IT TOOK HIM HALF AN HOUR TO GET ME THAT PAPER.. unbelievable and after that he tried to compensate the embarrassing situation offering me a $40 ma case, which I obviously refused and just took my Mac and left. FUNNIEST PART IS THAT WHEN I TOOK MY MAC TO A REAL APPLE STORE (in Europe to be precise) A WEEK LATER AND TOLD THEM THE STORY, THE GUY AT THE ASSISTANCE TOLD ME AFTER CHECKING ON THEIR SERVERS, THAT iSTORE NEVER DID ANY KIND OF "performance" test nor before or after "fixing" the Mac. read more

Went in on Tuesday 26th at 10:15 am. The guy was extremely rude, very unprofessional and inpatient and when I was explaining the issue with my mac he asked me in the worst sarcastic way if I was a technician. They will charge 180 just to run a diagnostic plus 75 dollars if you show up without and appointment. ‍ Huge call out to this beautiful human being who on top of being rude he was also calling out the costumers for coughing under their masks. Once Malik talked to the tech guys in the back, it was determined that my iPhone couldn't be repaired. I asked both guys what the best charging pad was, because my lightning port no longer worked, and Steve helped me out. We backed up my phone to iCloud while charging my phone. Instead of my trip costing $1000.00 at the Apple Store for a completely new phone, on top of continued payment to ATT, I spent $63, can now charge my phone, get my stuff off of it, and wait until upgrade time. When there for a repair on my MacBook Pro 2015, keyboard and touchpad wasn't working, drop off the computer, it's works for one day next day the computer wasn't working again, they said I need to replace the keyboard and touchpad which was around $500 or more, I knew something was wrong but not that serious, I scheduled an appointment at the Apple store in Willowbrook Mall NJ, drop off the computer, they just changed a cable and just cost $80my computer is good as new. WORSE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE!! The receptionist Malik and the tech guy Shaun were unprofessional and unreliable. These people only tried to get your money out of your pocket instead of helping and resolving issues for their customers. First of all the terrible things are the sneaky moves they have done with the paperwork, the Malik guy asked for my password and didn't check if my phone was backed up but just wrote "password not collected and the phone is backed up". And when I politely asked him to write everything as the way it is, he gave me an attitude. Later, he just assumed that I got a screen replacement while I specifically told him to only run the test to check the screen. Of course they told me it failed the test and I needed a new screen and it costed $279. When I asked what was wrong with it. Malik and Shawn were stumbling and couldn't give me a clear reason. I asked for the report. They said it failed this and that test. But I didn't trust them. I contacted a technician from apple support and actually there weren't any problems. They were FAKING the result!! Before I left that day, I requested to speak to their manager, surprisingly he just pointed the tech guy Shawn and told me hes their "manager". So I told them and he didn't listen and tried to cover his buddy up. Then this Shaun guy just walked away from me, left me and this Malik guy. In the middle of arguing, he told me to "get out". The representative was not very helpful and told me I may have to purchase her a new MacBook. I went to iStore and they were very helpful. I reiterated what the Apple representative told me, and he assured me if I paid the fee for liquid damage that it will cover all repairs. This store is quiet and empty for a reason. They charge a $117 "diagnostic fee" before they will even take your computer. This is the case for any computer that is off warranty, even if Apple has taken responsibility for the repair and already made a diagnosis. This fee is not charged by any of my local Apple Stores. A representative from Apple even got on the phone with management to reason with them and they refused waive the fee. I arrived and was taken care by an individual that was not knowledgeable with Apple. She even asked my how to get the Serial Number- she had no idea. Then she did not understand the problem I was having with my laptop. I asked her if she could call someone that could help, and her answer was that the "boss" was away for the weekend and she could not call- out of the country. I really like the location and the products, but the store would not be worth going into without David. He is the real-deal great person, tech (who knows everything tech) and who is the most helpful person anyone could meet.
