Instead of recommending a diagnostic service, an employee instructed me to purchase a replacement battery from a third party and bring it back for installation. Trusting their expertise, I followed those instructions. After spending my own money and waiting for the part, I returned to have it installed, only to discover that the laptop still wasn't functioning properly. I was then informed that I needed a different battery costing approximately $230. My biggest frustration is that proper diagnostics were never recommended during my initial visit. Had the situation been handled differently from the beginning, I could have avoided wasting so much time and money. After explaining my concerns, a service supervisor named James offered to reduce the replacement battery's price by $100. I appreciated this gesture and felt we were finally reaching a reasonable resolution. However, I later received a phone call informing me that the service manager had overridden the discount and that I would have to pay the full price. What truly crossed the line was being told to "kick rocks" and take my business elsewhere if I wasn't satisfied. I was shocked by how disrespectfully the situation was handled. No customer seeking help should be spoken to that way. After nearly two months of dealing with this issue, I've spent money unnecessarily, made multiple trips, and still don't have a properly functioning laptop. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I simply wanted the business to acknowledge what happened and offer a fair solution. I've decided to take my laptop elsewhere rather than continue doing business with a company that handled my concerns this way. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Micro Center's repair services ask for a complete diagnostic assessment and written confirmation of recommended repairs before purchasing any parts. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of Micro Center, and I cannot recommend their service department based on how I was treated.

It also included one year of Best Buy Plus membership, a value of $49. It turned to be an excellent deal ordering the watch from the store. Went here about a week ago to get a simple cartridge swap done on my basic Audio Technica…read moreturntable. Decided to go on Tuesday since it was their late day. I arrived there about 30 mins before their close time but unfortunately they had some issues that caused them to close early. Anyways, I spoke with the owner John and he said he was gonna return in an hour so I decided to grab something to eat then head back since it was a decent drive from my house. Took a little longer than an hour, but things happen. When John got there, he gladly changed the cartridge for me on the spot (during after hours) and I hung out there while listening to some music on his killer setup. He was a very friendly guy that got the job done in 30 mins and for a reasonable price. My advice is to call before you go to make sure that they're open but they're a great little shop that has plenty of experience (27 years worth!) I'll definitely be returning I'm sure for all related repairs/audio purchases.

Tonight! An order for 34 items was placed. 21 delivered. My order receipt does not indicate any unavailable items. At 9:54pm, 6 min before closing, I called the store. The phone rang endlessly. Yes, I realize it was 6 min before closing, YET I only wanted to alert them in a timely manner and call them in the morning. My next attempt to recover my order was to call Door Dash. He told me BJS forgot to give him the order. So EITHER BJs is not checking what is being loaded, Door Dash is stealing items or no one cares. BJ's outsources Door Dash. There is a horrible disconnect between the driver pick up, loading and delivery NOT at all seamless at all. This is not the first time items were overlooked, forgotten etc. Do not use their delivery service. I will emphasize again, HORRIBLE.
