No offer of restitution, courtesy or professional standards from individuals that would go as far as to just hang up on me or leave the phone off the hook ( no music) in the guise of waiting to connect me or comply with my request for the escalation_ and again, the individual who after denying the request for escalation several times decided to represent himself as a representative from the corporate office.. Crazy s**t like that... Again, NOT knowledgeable enough to even offer an extension for my payment due date, Which I had with this same company before.. read more

If i could give zero stars i would. This was the worst Verizon experience ever. I stopped in to get something fixed on my phone and they said it couldn't be fixed but i was eligible for an upgrade for $150. I asked what the monthly charges would be and they said zero. I waited 30 minutes to find out that it would actually be $22/month. They were shocked that i was not willing to increase my bill by $22/month (after i was told zero) and i said i did not want to continue. They told me my phone had already been deactivated and it took another 30 minutes to get it activated. I spent well over an hour in the store and have nothing to show for it. They were dishonest about pricing, not knowledgeable when it came to business plans, and overall inefficient. The gentleman helping me (lovensky) started out as a nice enough guy but when i cancelled my order (because he didn't tell me the pricing) he got agitated and said i was growing impatient. Additionally, to upgrade phones they need to text their manager for approval and are at the mercy of his response. This whole experience was terrible. I will drive 20 minutes next time to avoid this retailer. read more

In general I have had good experience with other Victra stores. The one in West Orange, NJ fails because of terrible customer service. Staff is dismissive, arrogant and have no concern for their customers. Never again! read more

DON'T BE FOOLED by Verizon!! They charged for something they couldn't complete the data transfer. I stayed there wasting over 2 hrs. and got charged for it but at the end, my one-week data was missing. I address the issue at the site but no solution except sending me to an APPLE store, I called back the phone no. on this website and google, but they didn't do nothing except wasting my whole Monday (I'm hourly worker). In addition, the phone support (that I called to confirm if there will be a charge needed, they said NO before I went to the store but they changed the word 'YES' after I made a visit and confronting the data loss issue) totally misleading assuring me that I shouldn't be charged for the data transfer after Verizon sent me a refurbished one following my complaint for function issue for a while following the expensive upgrading to Pro max 14. read more

the owner of victra Verizon needs to understand that the manager of the Verizon store in west orange nj destroyed the core and bonded family this store originally had. she showed up this location and spreaded her negative and unprofessional energy to the young men that worked there. Today I picked up a router and noticed everyone is new now. How does this go unnoticed? as time went on each original employee looked disturbed, annoyed and distraught. she belittled them. And I am sure the young men that was there are mentally happy and free. I warned people about this manager and she's still going strong. There has to be something wrong with higher up leadership in this company. she forces customers to give good reviews to hide how disgusting and nasty she is as a person. A Word of WARNING about the Verizon Store on Prospect Ave, in West Orange. I recently went to return my business FIOS Router. I was asked for my Mobile number to verify my identity. I now find that all of my mobile family plan lines have unauthroized upgrades costing another $100/month. This is clearly a scam/fraud that is being committed. AVOID THIS VERIZON STORE or go at your own risk. You have been warned by my experience. I did contact Verizon and they will not investigate internal Store Fraud. Whenever you interact with Verizon, check your online account for unauthorized charges. read more

I stopped by this location to return my router, after waiting 40 minutes which I understand it can be busy. I finally get the help I need and the process was very quick. It took 2 mins for them to process the return. Now I normally do not write reviews but I had to this time because this is not right at all! The reason for this 1 star review is to elaborate on this locations management. While waiting the 40 minutes, I over hear the "manager" just being very unprofessional and as a matter of fact very disrespectful toward an employee. She was treating him like a he was not worth anything. Calling him names and cursing in-front of customers was just DISGUSTING!! Imagine what happens when the doors are closed and no one is there to witness it. It must be hell for whoever works there. If she can do that to one employee I can not fathom how she treats everyone else. Just extremely sad and nasty. I will never return to this location just because of her. Just that hour of being there put a terrible taste in my mouth. By the way... her name is Kim i believe... from what the employee has told me. Though covid has made things a little more difficult, you have to appreciate at least that you can still go an buy a new mobile device these days. They have a big sign outside where you scan the QR code and then wait to be called. If the weather is nice you can stand outside, if not then sit in the car or go to Jersey Mikes, Whole Foods or Chipotle to kill the time. My wait was about 1.5 hours. I got what I needed and continued about my way. I would recommend just having a rep handle all the fios related customers only, may make those returns/exchanges quicker. read more

It is truly too bad you can't give ZERO stars. PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION. I spent OVER three hours in this store - while my phones were being set up (a process filled with errors by the staff), listening to various customers who were all having the same experience I was having: feeling like what I was reviving was not was I was sold, feeling like the explanations were double talk, never hearing "I don't know" but always an answer pulled from thin air that changed each time we addressed an issue, and being given answers that I later found out were 100% wrong. The staff here have terrible communication skills and are just out to sell you the most expensive bundle they can, with a bunch of double talk. Came here in the evening afterwork to hand in our Verizon fios box and remote and was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and customer service. Due to a high volume of customers we were asked to sign in and after waiting around 10 minutes were helped by an employee. The process was super easy and we were physically handed a receipt and confirmation that our devices were returned properly and even sent an electronic email receipt. Verizon customer service has severely degraded as they continue trying to cut costs. Just trying to return a cable box I spent 20 min on hold before speaking to an agent only to find out and they don't provide mail return labels anymore. When I told them I currently have COVID and can't come in person they asked me to send someone else. That is not safe, but to avoid getting a late return fee I sent my friend to return for me . She waited 30 minutes in line outside the store before they let her inside to do the drop off which took 30 seconds. Incredibly in efficient poor customer service, and unsafe demanding customers return equipment in person during a global pandemic. read more

After countless phone calls and over 7 hours of back and forth with Verizon customer service on the phone Jordyn has been the only person that has gone above and beyond to find solutions.
