My boyfriend and I walked into the store on a Monday afternoon to get a my iPhone updated. Upon entering, a gentleman approached us and said to my boyfriend "Hey chief. What can I help you with". My boyfriend said we were there for a new phone, to which the clerk (who had yet to look at me) said, "Ok man i can help you with that." At that point, i waived at him and let him know that I was there as well. He looked surprised... either because i called him out or because he really didn't know I was there... I'd hazard to guess it was the former.. We sat down and started to talk about my upgrade... at MULTIPLE points during the transaction he turned around and started/continued loud conversations other coworkers, who were also with customers.... What is that? Throughout the conversation he was NOT paying attention to what was going on, and I had to repeat myself multiple times. All of this caused our interaction to be at least 15-20 min longer than it should have been. I understand that this Jennifer Lopez "Viva Movil" concept is supposed to be drawing more Latino/a customers by hiring folks from the community and making the storefront inviting... but some serious, SERIOUS work needs to be done with the customer service. Thanks for the iPhone update. I won't be back.
