I would not go here!!!! My parents went to go upgrade their phone and this store took advantage of them. The rep LUIS C, added mobile protection on all my line which I did not authorize. Also they over charged for accessories. They did a 5G sim activation for $60. I called Verizon, and they don't charge for 5G sim activation only upgrade fee. Verizon Nutley store is wonderful. My family of 5 walked in wanting to find out if we could save money compared to our T-Mobile plan. Jocelyn worked with us, answered all of our questions and explained that we could save over $100 a month. She ordered our new phones, 2 Apple 16 pro max, 3 Samsung 25+. She spent close to 2 hours with us. Then we went back on the following Saturday to get our phones. Now the system went down a few times but Jocelyn aided by the store manager Angie persevered and got our phones transferred to the new ones and the numbers over to Verizon. Angie the store helped the process and expertly put on the screen protectors for us too. Can't recommend VERIZON NUTLEY store enough. read more

THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE. It's an "authorized Verizon retailer" aka a third-party store. It is labeled on Maps as a Verizon store and has Verizon signage which is very misleading. They totally scammed us. They told us our monthly Verizon bill would be less than it actually ended up being. In addition, we spent 3 hours in this store getting our new phones set up. We were charged $130 at the end of our visit ($65 per new phone). We were told this $130 was part of our Verizon bill and would be going towards the upgrade and activation fees on our first bill. However, I later found out this was a fee charged by this "third party retailer" for setting up our devices. At no point did anyone tell us we would be charged for the data transfer and phone setup service. If this were disclosed to me, I would have set up the phones myself. I did not consent to this service. Thankfully I called Verizon customer support and got some of the billing issues resolved on their end. However, I am still out $130 from this third party retailer. They misrepresented my bill, and did not disclose many of the fees we were charged. This is not how you do business. Extremely disappointed and will never come back. read more

I usually don't visit the Verizon store but needed an upgrade asap so I went to the Nutley location. I am so glad I did! Anthony immediately greeted me and from then on I had a pleasant and easy experience. Everyone in the store was friendly and knowledge; all my questions were answered and I left feeling like I understood my new phone and my bill. I can't stress how NICE the entire staff, even the owner, was. Customer service goes a long way and, coupled with information, Nutley Verizon does a bang up job. BUYER BEWARE! THIS STORE WILL DO AND SAY ANYTHING TO GET A SALE! I went into the store with a bad SIM card. And my phone had no service because of it. The salesman (Luis) told me phone was obsolete and a new SIM card wouldn't help. My phone is only 2 years old. he said I needed a phone so I bought one. $900. The next day I took my old phone to the Apple store and they replaced the SIM card and the phone works perfectly again. I returned the phone after they made me pay a $100 restocking fee for my time and trouble. then I look into my account and my bill has jumped over $100 for the next bill. I tried calling the manager and gave him access to my account 5 times and he still hasn't correct the problem... what do I have to do ? I've been to Verizon locations all over the country and I've had some horrible experiences where I was ripped off, lied to, misled and never followed up with. I went to the Verizon store looking for portable wifi (jetpack). The young man seemed knowledgeable. He said it was all set and all I had to do was provide the password. Well, not really. He made some clerical error that almost caused me my job. Due to his error - I could not sign in and attend a very important zoom call. I called and he couldn't help me over the phone. I had to make a trip back to the store, and that's when he discovered the mistake on his behalf. HE NEVER APOLOGIZED. Instead, he said it was a small mistake and then proceeded to tell me how everyone makes mistakes - and that I probably made a mistake at some point. (the nerve - so damn fresh) The jetback is not the best and I continue to experience difficulty. I also noticed how customers were not greeted and told there would be a long wait. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - I WILL probably return the crappy jetpack at another store because I never want to see that person again. read more

The Nutley Verizon store is THE store you want to go to! Everyone who works there gives excellent customer service and made me feel welcome and that they were truly happy to help me . They all seem to be happy working there as well . They informed me that I could upgrade to iPhone 7, this took a while since I had over 5,000 images that needed to be transferred to the new phone . They were patient as this was a long process and didn't for 1 second become agitated that this took a while . Both Sally and Shelton offered me water while I waited and were social and educated me about my new device . Sally also looked to help save me money by asking Where I worked , it turned out my company offers a discount on the monthly bill and she applied that so I walked out of there saving money. I look forward to the next tine I go to that store. It is managed well ! read more

The store has signs for FIOS, so we asked about switching our current voice lines over to FIOS. A female clerk who dresses like a rock star told me that I would have the speak to the manager of the store who was no help, so when I spoke to the woman again to let her know that none of our questions were answered, she told me that she is the manager of the store (???). Meanwhile, she sits on a tall chair wearing short skirts, beaving the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Centre Street. So the bottom line is, don't advertise FIOS if no one in your store can answer questions about FIOS. read more

July 19th, I went in with a week old iphone5S to look at options of an upgrade as the replacement i was sent wasn't working properly. I was told by Jack he thought there was an upgrade promotion on the website that would get me a new phone and 200$ credit towards our monthly bill after sending the old phone back. Jack went on the website and looked up the promotion and we were in luck! He was nice enough to go to the website and confirm this. He was so confident that he ordered the phone to the store. Jack was also nice enough to call me later that week and tell me the phone was in stores. When I came in to the store Jack wasn't there so I was helped by a very lovely lady. I had explained that Jack had ordered the iPhone 5SE and he called and it was waiting for me. She went in the back and brought out the upgraded phone. I asked her how the refund works with the iphone 5S and if I would have to send it back in order to get the promotion. She said that Verizon would mail me a box with a return and then I would have to mail the iphone5S back. Once received I would get a text or email to the account email with a code for the 200$ that would count as a credit for our monthly bill. She said it can take a few weeks. My wife and I were still waiting so I figured I would reach out to the Nutley Verizon store and see the process of the returned box/refund code. Jack had no idea what were were talking about said the upgrade was only eligible for an iphone6. This is confusing because he in fact ordered the iphone 5SE for me. Discouraged and confused, I called back and talked to another associate who refused to give me information I was requesting. There is nothing I can do in this situation. My wife and I have had Verizon since 2010. There should be more credibility than this wild west Nutley branch. read more

I came in because my phone wasn't making calls or picking up the network, which rendered my phone useless. I knew it was old and most likely broken and needed to be replaced. Mohammed helped me to get into the account (the account holder was away on business and not reachable!) and he was calm, patient, and knew what he was doing, which is great considering most of us don't know how our phones work or how to fix them! He identified some issues on the bill, got me a new phone, and saved us money overall on our monthly bill. He also updated my phone and transferred everything over to the new one. I didn't have to do a thing and I left with a new model. Good customer service here by people who know what they're doing. read more

I was unimpressed with this store when I went in to upgrade. The first kid to great me was nice but not well informed and had another gentleman assist me. He was not friendly, almost seemed like I was bothering him with my questions. I wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal they had. There were issues with my transactions and it took a while. The owner of the business came out, he was the only one there who seemed to genuinely care about their customers. Unfortunately, he did not seem as knowledgeable as the rest of the staff. After questioning some issues on my bill with Verizon directly, I found out that the "free phone" wasn't exactly free because this store is an indirect agent of Verizon, so they can charge whatever they want for the phone but you only get back the Verizon cost of the phone. So I still have to pay for the "free" phone. There were a couple other things that the store associate told me that didn't match up on my bill too. Overall, I feel like the associate that assisted me kind of screwed me over. I'm now paying 3x more than I was paying before my upgrade. read more

If I could give no stars I would!! My iPhone 5s all of a sudden powered down. Upon plugging it in, no screen showed up. Knowing that my family might need me considering I have 2 young drivers and a husband with a heart condition, I promptly raced to the Verizon store in Nutley and they assured me my phone was "dead" and absolutely nothing could be done to fix it. They then promptly sold me another phone, which would've had a recurring monthly charge which is different from the plan I already have. I asked if it would be cheaper to deal with Verizon on the phone and through mail. They said no. After activating the new phone, I quickly realized they activated it under my daughter's number! This then made her phone stop working and stranded her with no way to get in touch with anyone. After returning to the store to fix the issue, no apology was given. They rectified the phone activation problem. Later that day, I called Verizon after feeling taken advantage of. Verizon told me that 1) it would've been cheaper through mail (THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT NUTLEY VERIZON TOLD ME) 2) I wouldn't need a recurring monthly fee (THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT NUTLEY VERIZON TOLD ME) 3) My "dead" phone might be fixable!!!!!! While trying to return the phone at Verizon because I was ripped off, they debated with me and then charged me a $35 restocking fee plus the $40 for a screen protector that would no longer be of my use. Now, after calling Verizon's tech support, they quickly informed me on how my "dead" phone might be salvaged. My daughter spent LESS THAN A MINUTE of doing what the tech on the phone said and my "dead" phone is fine!!!! This entire time NUTLEY VERIZON TOLD ME MY PHONE COULD NOT BE SAVED, MADE ME SPEND OVER $200, WHEN THIS ENTIRE TIME MY PHONE WAS FINE AND THEY LIED TO ME!!!!! The Nutley store did not even ATTEMPT to fix my phone and instead immediately made me buy a new one for THEIR COMMISSION!! I've been a Verizon customer since 2006 but I'm not sure how much longer that relationship will last... read more
