They had been promoting it on their Instagram for $35 and online it goes for a little over $50. They also claimed that the cases were authentic so I was all for getting one at a cheaper price, of course. Anyway, when we came in a gentleman named Juan assisted us and Showed us the case and how they work and all that good stuff. I was happy with what I saw until he told me they were $45 and when I mentioned the Instagram post he insisted that they were never $35 (see attached picture). Juan also reassured me that the cases were authentic and were cheaper then the online price so both me and my friend purchased them anyway. A day later my friend had realized that the cases were in fact NOT authentic and we had been lied to. Honestly, if I wanted a fake light up phone case I could've easily bought one off EBay or Amazon for like $10 so I was definitely aggravated that I spent so much on something that wasn't real even after being told it was. On 8/26/16 we went to the store to return them and that's when things started going south. Juan was there again and I explained to him why we didn't want them. He said he could take the return but that he could not process it himself and for us to leave our name, number and email address and that we should get the return within like three business days. Mind you, this was a Friday so I'm like okay I'll give it till the Wednesday coming up and we should be fine. Well Wednesday came and went and nothing. I emailed the store and got no response. waited a few more days and still nothing in either of our accounts - going on a week now. Finally I sent another email and the manager called me back. The funny thing is he made it seem like I was being dramatic over wanting my money back. He proceeded to tell me "it's only been a few days and that he's not in the business of stealing money." Excuse me, but a return does not take over a week, I'm sorry. Anyway he said he would take care of it that night which was 9/1/16 - I finally received my return on 9/9/16 which was two weeks after I returned the item. Dealing with the unprofessionalism of this place has been nothing but a headache. Honestly, the truth is that all these 5 star reviews are because they offer you a discount if you leave a good review. I would know, they asked me to leave one when I brought them my iPad to fix in the beginning of the year (review which I've since deleted). & even when I had my iPad fixed their was an issue then too.. Long story short I would NOT recommend them :)

I came in there with a problem and was directed to come into that store from 611 Customer service in regards to a free phone upgrade I didn't understand what was going on and they did nothing but agitate the situation instead of listening to me, sarcastic comments were made about my ringtone and one of them even wanted to fist fight me in the store at that point, they threatened to call the police on me and have me removed because 611 told me and they heard it not to listen to the store that the store was wrong and the store was telling me not to listen to Customer service that they were wrong and then I had some individual make comments in regards to my skin color and my ringtone because I'm Italian, I was called a clown and a whole bunch of other rotten names. How dare Verizon have garbage like this work for them and I am not letting it go. There's a lot more to it, but I would love to speak to a district manager or something because I am not letting this go

    Today I visited the Clifton Commons NJ store in hopes of replacing a glass screen protector for my…read moreiPhone. Through a corporate discount program, I am eligible for a 25% discount on accessories. After a half hour wait, an associate called my name. He brought me a Zagg screen protector that was priced at $59.00 and told me that he didn't see any indication of the corporate discount and told me that it did not apply. This happened to me once before at the Clifton store, so this time around I came prepared with a paper from the Verizon web website showing my enrollment in the program that entitled me to the discount. He told me there is nothing further that he could do and that I should call the billing department if I had any questions. I went ahead and called them and on-line, the discounted price showed up. The support person from the call-center was much much more knowledgeable than anyone in the store, and much more helpful. This was not the first time I received terrible service from the Clifton Commons store. Although the store manager was off, the acting store manager was very rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. My recommendation is to avoid this store if it all possible.
