I left this review on google as well and the owner lied in his reply. I was wearing an N95 mask and am extremely cautious and aware. It's sad as by the look of many of the negative reviews, he has lied in his responses many times. I needed to pick up a Signature Required UPS package from this location and it was a terrible experience. The person behind the counter was unhelpful, told me to go find my package from the pile in the back with an unnecessary attitude. After digging through multiple packages I found mine, took it to the front and, with no regard for social distancing, made to hand over my ID then sign a pad with my finger...none of which are required at the UPS store, at FedEx, or upon delivery. I could not help but notice his t-shirt which perfectly reflected his demeanor: "Newsflash; you're an idiot". Very unprofessional. I won several pieces at auctions in the area and the auction houses recommended that I get a quote from The Shipping Grounds. Not only did I get an exceptionally good quote but also Harry (one of the owners) was extraordinarily helpful in arranging to group my purchases with others being delivered nearby in order to save me money. When the shipment was turned away, unbeknownst to me, by someone in my building, Harry suggested that he could hold my delivery for a couple of weeks until it was a more convenient time. I've never experienced such caring and thoughtful service from a shipping company in my life -- and I am an interior designed so I often buy and ship or have shipped antiques, large pieces of furniture, and other delicate and fine objects. This store is a rip-off. they charge almost double the rate of what a Fedex store will charge. Don't get fooled like me. I asked what I believe was the owner how much the mark up was and he said 15% but that wasn't the truth. It was more like 100%. When I requested the him to correct it to the 25% originally stated he refused. Don't get caught too go to the fedex or Ups store directl!!! read more

This is by far the best shipping and packing Store that I've ever seen. It is essentially a one-man operation but he does it all. Not only does The Shipping Grounds offer a variety of shipping services and serve as a drop off point for DHL, Fedex, UPS, US Postal Service and others. They have computers for rentals well as retail items for sale. The packaging service is second to none. I ship lots of packages from eBay sales and one of the toughest things to do is to find exactly the right size box. On more than one occasion I brought in items and within a few minutes My item was expertly packed in a custom box cut by the owner. The prices are so reasonable ... almost too reasonable. I am now a loyal customer and will be coming back to The Shipping Grounds for all my shipping and packaging needs. read more

The Shipping Grounds is a very helpful place to get things done. Joe Kuryla was very helpful with making a photo copy and adding 2 receipts all on one photo copy. But while their I noticed The Shipping Grounds has a lot of important items in the store!!! Like you can get keys made their, There are all kinds of stationary supplies, If you are shipping items big or small or fragile this is the place to go!!! I am amazed as to what The Shipping Grounds has and can help with! Any shipping tasks you have stop by The Shipping Grounds and you will save yourself time and money!! But you will be amazed as to what items you find in the store for shipping or your phone. I had an awful experience with this store. Purchased a lot from an auction house and paid Shipping Grounds to send for me. 1st time they sent it to the wrong address. After about 2 months, once it was returned, Shipping Grounds sent it a 2nd time and charged me a second time! Was received damaged the second try. Shipping Grounds said they put in a claim (because I had paid full insurance) but after 3 calls to Shipping Grounds it was clear they were not going to get the claim reimbursed. Awful experience. My first visit was this past weekend. I was nervous because it was about 10 min before the store was about to close and I had to get my letter out. I found the gentleman behind the counter to be courteous calm easy going and friendly. He completed our transaction and sent us on our way, not concerned with the late hour. Great Shipping store / Business center. Complete, fast and efficient. My husband and I went there to have EU Visa photos taken which were not of standard passport photo size making it quite a tedious and difficult task for most photo centers around. Joe was very accomodating and helpful to make sure that we get it done correctly. The store was very clean, had parking space, and complete with all different boxes, cards , basic office supplies. They als offer Notary services which is a plus! We are very to have found our new shipping/ photo/notary place right in Denville! read more
