First thing I noticed was the small post boxes almost vintage, and then the cookies at the counter ! How freakin nice, the clerk offered and was very nice considering the hectic time of year. However, this rinky-dink small shop near Mendham, NJ was a fast and smooth operation. The line was sliced and diced within minutes. The guy who worked the booth, had a sense of humor - was not grumbling and stumbling - and when I asked for a receipt, said; "You can have the kitchen sink." New Jersey humor does get you through the day. This small postal office had the stamps, it had the mailboxes and it made a great impression on me.
