I can't say I've ever had any real problems. Some of the mail carriers over the years have been great, some not so great, but none that were awful (although there was one carrier when I first moved in who had trouble finding a particular address that he had to deliver a package to...it wasn't me...and finding an address in my development can be difficult...but I remember him stomping through the hallway, growling to himself, swearing and muttering like Travis Bickle without the Mohawk, and I thought at the time, "This is the kind of guy they were talking about when they invented the phrase, 'Going postal.'" I never complained about him, but other people might have, as he didn't last long. Thankfully, he didn't shoot anyone that I'm aware of). Somewhat off-topic side comment: When I got laid off some years ago, I panicked, and was willing to try any job that came along, pretty much. At one point, I applied at the Post Office...not this one...and took a test. I've never been nominated for Mensa membership, but I figured I was reasonably intelligent, and the test would be a breeze. It wasn't. Intelligence really isn't a critical part of the criteria: your "short term" memory skills are paramount and have to be pretty advanced. My short term memory...never very good to start with...has deteriorated with the advancing years and the aftereffects of too much grog and too many "happy pills" and maybe a few other things along the way. Bottom line: I never was hired as a mail carrier. Which, in retrospect, is a good thing-- good for me, and good for those uncounted multitudes depending on yours truly for their mail delivery. Anyway... Back in the day, I'd come to the Brownlee Pl. location often because I'd get a lot of money orders...in addition to the grog and "happy pills," I was addicted at the time to buying crap on ebay...and Brownlee Pl. is close to the Wells Fargo I patronized. Brownlee Pl. is a narrow side street with not much parking. The P.O. parking lot is small, and almost always full. Inside is a large lobby, and then you pass through glass doors into the area where you can conduct whatever postal business you've come to conduct with the available clerks. Usually 1, maybe 2 during very busy times. One downside to this place is that it opens relatively late in comparison to other area post offices (although as 1 reviewer has noted, the advantage to that is that it stays open later than other area post offices). Often there was a long line, so if you were in a hurry, you were screwed (if I needed to just buy stamps, I went to some other, less crowded location). But, in my experiences, the clerks were usually pretty friendly and helpful once you were able to reach them. Sometimes, a mail carrier would try to deliver a package to my place that I was supposed to sign for, I wouldn't be around, and they'd leave a sticker on my door. Usually I could pick up the package the next morning at the post office without any undue difficulty (1 time I had to go to the Allen Rd. location to pick up a package, but that was an isolated event. Not sure if they were temporarily my mail carriers, but every subsequent time I've had to sign for a package, it has been at the Brownlee Pl. location). This need to pick up a package hasn't happened in a long while, but it happened the other day. I had ordered a package from overseas, and I was supposed to sign for it. The sticker on my door had fluttered down to my doorstep, but when I came home from work I was able to retrieve it and realized what I was going to have to do. There was a part of me that cursed and said to myself, "I wish they would have just left the f'ing package on the doorstep!" However, there have been "porch pirates" at work in the area occasionally, and I did pay a lot for the package, so I shrugged it off. The mail carrier was just doing his/her job responsibly, and I was just a lazy b*stard. Next day I drove to the post office early, just before they opened for business. Early, but their tiny parking lot was already full; I was able to secure the last spot. Thankfully, there were only 1 or 2 people in front of me, and I didn't have to wait long (they also have spots/signs marked out on the floor for "social distancing," which is a good thing). The clerk was friendly and when I presented my sticker, she was able to find the package without too much difficulty. I'm almost always braced for the "worst case scenario" to play itself out, but in this instance, I was spared. All in all, I like this place, and don't have any substantive complaints to make about the job they do, or the way in which they do it. Recommended.

Cliffnotes: -HIGH RATES…read more-Rude customer service **Don't be lazy: Go to CUBESMART storage in Whippany or Morristown instead for a MUCH better experience! Here's the story: My husband and I were in need of storage so I thought I'd try this place since my parents had a good experience there. Spoke with some manager George on the phone and he was pleasant. Offered to waive a move-in one time charge, offer a decent rate (IMO), etc. So I brought my husband there this past weekend to check out the facility. When we arrived, George wasn't there but some other guy was - an older man, completely unfriendly, and grouchy. Seemed annoyed that we showed up, ya know? Like it was a chore to help us out. Immediately that frustrated me and my husband. My husband left the building to start googling other places in the area to see if they could offer a better rate. Turns out EVERYWHERE else does. So I walked back inside to let this man know and to see if he could offer a better rate. He basically said, no, not my problem, can't help you, goodbye, ohhh and if you don't take it I'm pretty sure I'll have it rented this afternoon by someone else anyway. SO RUDE. We went north 10 minutes up to Cube Storage in Whippany, were offered LOWER rates, amazing customer service (ask for Manager Peggy, she's awesome!), and a really pleasant experience.

I needed a temporary place to store my furniture and the only place I knew of was Access Self Storage. So me and my lady went there and the prices they quoted me were through the roof!!!!!!! So, you may ask me , "if the prices were so high then why did you store there anyway?" Well, I work in a customer service call center, and it is my duty to create a great experiences for our customers, and that's what the guys did at Access Self Storage. They were very helpful and even though the prices almost gave me a heart attack, lol, the managers up there were very sincere and honest. I have to admit they did work with me, so I can't complain too much...but anyway I just wanted to give my thumbs up to them and I also want to post on Angie's List about them too if they're up there. P.S. I'm sorry for those of you who might've had a bad experience but they treated me and my girlfriend pretty well.

They went above and beyond. I JUST unpacked my crate with the paintings that prompted me to use them over a regular mover in the first place and I can't overstate how much care went into packing them. They went the extra mile. Even the guy who delivered the pallets to me in Seattle said he could tell true professionals prepared my shipment. I wish someone had written a review on Yelp! before I found them, it would have put my mind at ease but I really had nothing to worry about. They were quick. I found out I had to move across country 2 days before Thanksgiving! The guy who first took my call was polite and followed up several times to help make sure I could start moving ASAP after the holiday. Then the guys who picked up my stuff were true professionals. Watching them pack my stuff for transport to the warehouse was a thing of beauty. And they were just nice guys on top of it all. Then the guys dealing with my paperwork and the timing of my delivery were equally as nice. I had to store my stuff for a fuzzy amount of time because of problems nailing down a move-in date in Seattle. It was not a problem, even though it was the holiday. My move in date got moved up so they had to trigger my move a week or two early, and they timed it perfectly to the day! I could not move in until a Saturday, they had my stuff in Seattle by the first Monday after I was allowed in my apartment!! (They did this perfect timing miracle starting my shipment the Friday before Christmas and seeing it go across country during the New Years holiday!! They kept me in the loop. They were clear about the storage charges and even gave me a courtesy call before charging my card, even though I knew it was coming. If I ever move back east, I want these guys to take care of my move. Thank you!!!!! Thank you!!!!! Thank you!!!!!

The scheduling went smoothly and we sent photos of the items beforehand, as to what was to be moved. Corey came with a helper. Corey is Jesse McDonald's brother and Jesse is the owner of the company (I'm explaining this for a reason). Everything was going smoothly until we got to the treadmill (and Jesse got involved!). They moved my Proforma treadmill up two flights of stairs (as it was still in one piece). We have video and photos from many angles around the property that shows the treadmill was not broken while it was being moved. They get it up 2 flights of stairs and took it apart to get it into the room. I asked Corey a few times if he had experience taking apart treadmills, and he said he did. When they got into the room, they dropped it. I didn't think much of it because it's a steel treadmill. I go into the room behind them and they looked confused. Corey told me the wire was too short and it broke and then part of the frame broke. They were very upset about it. Corey told me not to worry and he would call his brother, and they will take care of it. They never called so we left a message on Nov 2. Jesse called us Nov 3 saying they will fix the treadmill but we need to pay for that as well as pay for what they had moved! I was stunned. I sent them an email asking them when they can have it fixed as per Jesse and no response. On Nov 3, Jesse said there's no way they broke it. I guess he didn't see the videos and pictures. He told my husband he wasn't going to let this hurt his business of 20 years. The thing is, when you have a moving company (or any company), things happen, but you take responsibility for it. You don't blame the homeowner and ignore them. They broke the treadmill and left it in pieces all over the room. Terrible customer service.
