This is the best UPS store around. The customer service is always professional and friendly. They have shipped large items for me and I use them for my Amazon drop offs. For the latter the always assist even if I mistakenly bring the return in incorrectly. It's so nice to walk into a place where the customer service is exceptional. read more

Highly Recommend this UPS store. I recently visited them to help me with 3 projects; work project / elementary school project and youth sports banner. Alex, the store manager and his team were so helpful. They advised me on printing size based on images needed, paper quality and helped me use the computer in the store to upload images, and access my saved / emailed materials instantly. They were all excited to see the pieces come to life and made the entire process easy and fun. Excellent service. Appreciate the attention to detail. The guy there was so rude and nasty, refuse to take my Amazon return with me printing the return label.

I went here to ship a package out to a friend. The employee was clearly sick, sniffling coughing and had lost her voice. She was unmasked. I took care of business as quickly as possible then left. Now I've come down with symptoms myself, and have to quarantine until I can get a covid test result. This will take days. Hard to overstate how disruptive and unnecessary this is! It is completely unethical for a store to require (or even allow) a sick employee to come to work during a pandemic, much less allow that employee to be UNMASKED and infect customers. Avoid this place like the PLAGUE. read more

They don't have tape and if you ask they will tell you to buy some. If you push "I'll top it for you this one time, we can't because of insurance." Get the hell out of here. I don't know or care how you make money on pre-paid shipping labels, but when I drop off my packages at Staples they whip out that tape gun and tape me so hard my momma feels it. read more

2 minutes ago Shippers beware! I mailed 2 packages from this store, one arrived and one did not. Somehow George Messed up the delivery, and either did not issue a tracking number for one box or shipped both boxes under the same tracking number. When I went to track the missing box I only had the tracking number of the item that arrived. Since UPS had no tracking number for the other box, my claim was rejected. When I called the store and spoke to the owner Alex, he said there was nothing he could do and had no idea what happened. So my box is lost, it had about $300 worth of clothing inside. If you don't care about your items arriving to their final destination then this is the UPS store for you! Unbelievable. read more

The clerks who are always there(and who I suspect own this location) are surly, unhappy people who take pleasure in telling you what you've done wrong, the favor that they will grant to make it right, and that the responsibilIty that they refuse to take for anything. Need a small length of packaging tape because you realize that you missed a corner? You can buy a roll at their marked up price or be ready to be humiliated begging for a small piece from the plethora of tape guns laying around. Didn't get a receipt? Unfortunately I have to use this location on occasion to drop off a package to be shipped by UPS of which I use on a regular basis Undoubtably the people in this store are so rude, unhelpful and actual seemed to be annoyed when you come in They never print a receipt when I drop off a package nor do they greet you How does UPS allow this franchise to stay in business. Had a prepaid label to return an item. Since I know sometimes the package gets misplaced in the receiving department of the big companies I requested a receipt to confirm I dropped off the item. The man working the desk relented and on my 4th or 5th request he begrudgingly gave me the label. Then he angrily tells me where to put the package. Apparently scanning the label and hitting print was too much for him to endure so he couldn't be polite when instructing me where to place the box. I had to do a similar transaction and went to the Rockaway location and the man there printed me a label without even having to ask. Do yourself a favor and don't come here. read more

The owners are the rudest customer service people I have encountered. Arrived on a Saturday at a few minutes to 3pm, according to my watch. The store was locked, but a customer was entering to pickup his mail, and kindly admitted me to drop off two pre-paid packages. The owner confronted me and yelled for me to get out of the store - they were closed. I told him the internet (Google address link) displayed Saturday closing time at 6pm, but even so, it's not yet 3pm. He called me a liar and said to get out. On Monday, I printed the Google internet business hours to show them so they could have them corrected. The wife was on-duty and the husband was out. I explained the Saturday experience and she told me; 1) the internet is wrong, and 2) my watch is also wrong. She then turned her back on me and walked away. People like this should not be in a service business. read more

I am shocked to see the 1 star reviews for this UPS location. I went for the first time today, and Michael could not have been nicer. He went above and beyond to help me expedite a same-day printing project, and had such a friendly and cheerful demeanor. Bald guy was very uncomfortable and disgraced me. How they do business here with such a disrespectful behavior ! he asked me to wait for his job for 5-10 mins and in my turn finally, he just gave me the label and requested to do his job by myself. Order to put the label on the box by myself and move the package to the corner by myself. Even he asked to move me out his way quickly after he game me a label. What is behavior. She told me they pay for them. Not true. I proceeded to the UPS store in Lyons Mall and they couldn't have been nicer. LOVE THIS UPS STORE! I utilize their services at least once a week, and feel so fortunate that this is the closest UPS store to my home. The owners - David and Christine - are friendly and efficient. The store is neat and organized, and parking is plentiful. I know that you can get the same services at all UPS stores, but it is so nice to get a genuine welcoming smile upon entering. I was prompted to write this review because I recently had a situation where the UPS driver at the destination city for my package erroneously tried to deliver it before the business opened on a Saturday. I had told David that it was critical that it be delivered that day, and without my asking he monitored the delivery. When he noticed the potential delay, he jumped into action and called the UPS supervisor in Boston to request that the driver go back and re-deliver the same day. I was blown away by this excellent level of customer service, and will continue to be a faithful customer of this wonderful location! read more

I have had the honor of working at two different ups stores in Florida in the past, and I have NEVER seen this level of INCOMPETENCE. My parents sent me a simple ups ground package, my mother gave the woman at the counter the address and the woman at the counter repeatedly ignored her to ask if it was a different address and each time my mother patiently explained they hadn't sent to this address here and told her the address again. And still it wasn't sent to the correct address. It's been over a week since my package was supposed to arrive, and I still don't have it. I have called over 5 times at different days and times, I have never had my call answered, and they don't even have an active voicemail. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra miles to a UPS store that ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. UPS is a great company, and this store gives them a terrible name. If anyone from UPS corporate happens to stumble across this, PLEASE GET ON THIS!!!! I know you have standards for operation and this place DOES NOT MEET THOSE STANDARDS. read more

The service here is horribly rude. The first time I went there to drop off a package, I asked for a receipt and the man behind the counter begrudgingly printed one out for me (probably because he was already standing). Then he waved his hand vaguely toward the wall and told me to put the package over there. The second time I went there he was sitting down and wouldn't even get up to print me a receipt. He just kept saying that I don't need a receipt and I should just put my box over by the wall, and then shooed me out of the store. I've been to other UPS stores and just as a previous reviewer said, they print receipts without even having to be asked. I won't come back here again. The only reason they're still in business is because it's the most convenient location for some people, but I won't ever go back to give them the business. read more

I came to the store with 5 boxes requiring 2nd day delivery. I was told the boxes would arrive THE LATEST, end of day by the 2nd day. The boxes did not arrive in 2 days and the customer service from UPS central office did not help (evenings and over the weekend you can only reach India and they have no idea how to help). I disputed the charge with credit card and asked store to work with me regarding even a partial credit. They did not work with me at all. Looking at the other review, looks like I'm not the only dissatisfied customer. I recommend trying USPS or Fedex. Plus, ensure you don't try to ship your packages in bad weather. I never write reviews for service businesses, restaurants, or stores such as this one. However, I was searching their website for store hours and happened to glance at the reviews, especially the negative ones. To say that I was taken aback, especially after the years of really exceptional and conscientious service I have experienced by this wife/husband team, is a gross understatement and therefore I am posting this, my first one. First, amazingly these people actually care about what we, their customers, are shipping. As we are moving out of NJ we find ourselves shipping paintings/art, delicate items like pottery, plates, and other similar items that have great personal importance to us. As such, it would be unacceptable for them to get damaged. Well, the skill and attention they pay to packing is almost an art. For the past 6 months every time we receive word back from the recepients on the other end they say, "the packing is amazing, where did you find these people, why don't all stores pack like them, just perfect". I had another store ship expensive wine glasses back to us and they arrived in pieces. I had our Bernardsville store pack my 20 year old hand blown ones and they arrived like brand new. Nothing is even remotely scratched, ever. Next, they always want to find the most cost effective way to ship so they actually ask what's best for you- "if you're willing to wait an extra 4 hours we can save you $48". Shocking, in NJ, someone is actually trying to save us money! Last week I was in a rush and I left my glasses off to the side of the counter. Later in the day they found them, looked up my phone number from the package I had sent , called and left 2 voicemail messages and then called a 3rd time and I answered. They didn't know they were mine, so they actually called all their customers that day. 99% of other businesses would have just thrown them away, but not here. Simply put, I don't know if the persons writing the negative reviews were in a rush, mad that day or whatever but don't take them to heart. Go for yourself and you'll experience what true, highly personal, expert first class customer service is about. read more

I use this location rarely but sometimes I do. Every time there is some problem. People working in this store are highly incompetent in job they are there for as well as in interaction with customers. They always try to sell some unnecessary boxes to ship something that is already properly packed. read more
