Many boxes were ripped , some pieces of furniture/bulky items were damaged or broken. And one of the door frames of the new home had a large chunk of wood taken out , i imagine from a piece of furniture moving in. We had boxes clearly labeled with what room to be placed in, and many ended up in the wrong rooms. Same applied to the furniture. I appreciated them being able to move a piano (extra cost, but still! Not everyone does it.) and I appreciated them being able to accommodate the moving time shift, however the price significantly jumped from the initial estimate when we had pushed the time from late morning to afternoon. They started off as the cheapest estimate we got, out of 5 estimates, but ended up being the second highest cost. Not just too high, but dishonest. They give you a quote for taking away a truckload of junk for $999. After they show up and get halfway through loading the truck, they say it costs extra to remove certain things, including wooden things. Then you find out that the rate for removing wood is sky high. Then come more extras. By the time we got done, the cost of removing one truckload of junk went from $999 to $2,100. I'll never do business with them again!
