They said they had a system that made sure we would get all our thing to us safely. But the system is a disgrace. Do not believe the 5 star status! They get that because when you leave a bad review, they offer money to take it down and leave a good one. We moved 18 months ago. They lost all our kitchenware... plates, bowls, etc. they lost family heirlooms, antiques and things that were of emotional value to me. When my husband left a poor review, they said they would pay to have it removed. He accepted without thinking. We had hardly unpacked all the boxes. We knew all the kitchen stuff was missing. But after opening everything, the truth became clear. I am still heartbroken about what is missing. But there is nothing I can do now except warn others! Don't do it, go somewhere else. The team was quick and efficient at loading and unloading. All the furniture were reassembled. They did the job as expected. Unfortunately, I would not use this company again. There seems to be a high pressure culture for the crews to get online reviews. The team lead repeatedly asked me to post 5 star reviews before the job was done. When one of our friends posted a 4 star review, the team lead would not let up until it was corrected to a 5 star review. He said he would be fired if the 4 star review remained online. It created an uncomfortable tension during an already stressful move. I am grateful for their good hard work, but I would prefer to post a review because of the quality of service, not because I feel pressured to in the moment. I hired Zip-to-Zip to move some items from West Grove, PA to West Chester, PA, and many items to a small town in Maine, west of Augusta. They met me at 8 AM, as promised, they packed extremely efficiently, and took great care in making sure everything was cushioned/protected. They brought the two large items to our house in West Chester, picked up two more items for Maine, and then drove the rest of the way. They did not get to the Maine house until 9 PM, but they were just as energetic unloading the truck as they were loading it 12 hours prior. The two workers were conscientious and very clear with their communication. I still wish I had put an AirTag in something, so I could track their progress driving north, but they gave me a heads up when they were an hour out anyway. Big thank you to Vakhtang and Archil for their professionalism, efficiency, and taking out all the stress from our move! I spent about a week shopping around, getting quotes, and reading reviews. I was getting very stressed out and aphrenrsive as I seemed to read so many negative reviews for so many moving companies. Granted most of the "moving companies" were brokers and not direct movers. I finally decided on Zip to Zip, as they offered the lowest quote (by far!) and were a direct moving company - not a broker. Further, I went to a few of their review pages on different platforms, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive! This helped put me at ease as I had read so many negative reviews from some of the other companies (brokers) about last minute price hikes, damaged items, and no-shows. (Quick Note: After all my research I've learned to stay far away from brokers. Even if you don't use Zip-to-Zip, though no reason why you shouldn't, do NOT use a broker!) I will admit, I was still a little apprehensive about this move given all I'd read about other companies, but when the movers showed up on time, spoke to me clearly and politely, and began packing carefully yet quickly, mind mind was quickly put at ease. Regarding the price - as mentioned above, the offered the lowest quote by far. The price did increase by a few hundred when all was said and done, but that was because the estimate was for 5 hours total move, and it ended up taking 7hrs. However, customer service did explain this to me before making a deposit explaining how they calculate the final price and that the quote they gave me was an estimate, so there were no hidden charges or surprises. These movers worked fast, didn't take a break, and zero damage to any of our belongings. We underestimated just how much stuff we had 7 hrs (2hrs driving time from PA to NJ) was more than reasonable. At one point, I was considering renting a truck and doing the move myself (and just trying to get some friends/family to help out) - while that may have saved me a bit of cash - I am VERY glad I didn't go that route! These guys were pros! The removed all the stress and got the job done in at least half the time it would've take me to do myself. Thanks again Vakhtang and Archil! Funny enough, after the move, I was chatting with my building manager of the place I was moving out - I was telling him about the move, and the week I spent getting quotes and reading reviews...When he moved, they also used Zip to Zip. He too said how incredible they were with moving their stuff with full care and efficiency. So word is getting out! Also a shout out the the customer service rep, Daniella! She was polite, patient, a clear communicator, and didn't pressure me into booking a truck right then and there on our first call. Never had a better moving experience! We had just about the worst weather imaginable, and yet everything was still perfect. Coordination in the lead up and then on the day of was really great. They were always available to talk through and update our inventory. Ever since I grew out of being able to move my own house without breaking every bone in my body, I had nothing but bad experiences with movers. Our five star experience started with a prompt reply and quote when I contacted them on Yelp for an in-town move. The move was from a third floor condo with terrible exterior stairs to a three-story house. The team showed up right on time on moving day and worked hard in the summer heat for hours. They quickly and safely wrapped up any furniture that needed protection and got it across town without a scratch. This included disassembling and reassembling a grandfather clock, a king sized bed frame and head board, and a pair of leather reclining couches. They were able to get the king bed and frame up narrow- 100+year old stairs and reassemble it without a problem. I reached out to a handful of movers on Yelp and Zip to Zip provided quick responses and the best price. All I needed moved was one king sized bed across town. I received an offer from another mover that was almost double what Zip to Zip was planning to charge. Realistically, it was just one king sized bed that needed to be disassembled and moved. On moving day, they arrived punctually. I was quoted that they would arrive 8AM - 9AM. They arrived 8AM on the DOT. They were nothing but smiles the entire time. With a king sized mattress weighing almost 130-180 pounds, it was a struggle but they were able to do it. Upon arrival at the shipping address, they asked if I wanted to reassemble the bed. They were already over their quoted time (due to traffic), but they were stuck around and finished the job properly. Updated Review: A mix of good with some okay parts too. The good is that the movers were fast, efficient, and pleasant. The other good part is that, because of my original review (which had some of the same legitimate criticisms posted below), they were very apologetic and offered me a partial refund, which I appreciated. (I've removed much of my criticism of the actual moving team because, after thinking on it and discussing it with my wife, I realized I was being too critical.) Here's the stuff that was just okay: The moving team arrived two hours late, and Zip to Zip didn't inform me until the last second. Again, I'm not sure why this happened. But, in fairness, they were driving from New Jersey to Connecticut through NYC traffic. And it really didn't alter my moving plans. Overall, this wasn't a big deal, but I would have appreciated the heads up. Also, the estimate they provided before hand was about $100 short of the actual amount (less than a 10% difference), even though the movers ended up moving 20 boxes less than I estimated. Customer service did not address this issue or explain why the estimate was so off, but they refunded me more than this amount, so I'll call it a wash. Finally, when discussing the refund, the customer service representative was very pushy about trying to get me to remove this review as a quid pro quo for the refund. I did not agree to this, but did agree to amend my review for the reasons explained above. In sum, the movers were quick, efficient, and pleasant, and knew what they were doing. We needed to move a 1 bed 1 bath apartment into a 2 bed 2 bath apartment that was less than 20 minutes away. We made sure to communicate that we won't need any help packing things into boxes (purchased just over $300.00 worth of materials ourselves from Home Depot). Zip To Zip Moving quoted us $895 for the move and let the company know that we'll be paying in cash to omit the extra $$$ for paying with credit card. Movers came later than expected, very nice guys. Asked if they can use some of their materials to pack the furniture securely which included a 6 piece sectional, 1 super inexpensive mirror, 1 old small tv, 1 dresser, 1 small wooden chest, 2 table lamps, 2 floor lamps). The movers forgot one of the floor lamps so I drove all the way back to get it before it was stolen. We were charged over $2000.00 for all of this. Never again, ever. read more

I wanted to update this review! The last review was written somewhat under duress by the moving team, as they stared at me and kinda forced me to write a review before they left. They did do a great job with the move process itself. The weird stuff--they made us pay about 1.5h before they finished and preset an end time. There were not enough boxes to unload to last the whole time, and they were a bit rude when I wanted them to assemble furniture with the remaining time (which is a service they offer!). They were also a bit demanding with the tip which was unusual. Overall great movers who kept our stuff safe during transit. But, a few odd things as noted above. No wonder their reviews are stellar!
