Hired laborers to pack my son's truck for an out of state move. They arrived on time, and were very efficient and professional.

I had a fantastic experience with Zip to Zip for my out-of-state move. Alanna Brown, my relocation specialist, was patient, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the entire planning process easy and found me the best-priced moving date. All I had to do was send photos of my apartment--she accurately documented my inventory, provided a competitive quote, and, most importantly, the quote was honored with no surprises. On moving day, Ika and Soso arrived right on time. They worked quickly while taking great care of my belongings, and they were both friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with throughout the move. The entire move was completed just under the estimated time, and the final price matched the quote exactly. Reliable and transparent - highly recommend. read more

The move is finally over. Did it go as smoothly as I wanted, no! However Bacho (foreman), Ika, and Achi, did amazingly. They worked very hard. The move was the best I have experienced with a moving company [this was my 4th move]. I hope I don't have to move for a long time, but when I do, I will definitely use their service again. My bestie who was there as support, was also impressed with the work crew and will be using them when she moves later this year. J. Baron read more

They said they had a system that made sure we would get all our thing to us safely. But the system is a disgrace. Do not believe the 5 star status! They get that because when you leave a bad review, they offer money to take it down and leave a good one. We moved 18 months ago. They lost all our kitchenware... plates, bowls, etc. they lost family heirlooms, antiques and things that were of emotional value to me. When my husband left a poor review, they said they would pay to have it removed. He accepted without thinking. We had hardly unpacked all the boxes. We knew all the kitchen stuff was missing. But after opening everything, the truth became clear. I am still heartbroken about what is missing. But there is nothing I can do now except warn others! Don't do it, go somewhere else. Better yet, do your own box counting system. Don't trust theirs. read more

Ika Soso and Lua were excellent. I was amazed at how quickly they had my apartment packed up and ready to go. The money paid was well worth it! I will be moving in the future and will use them again. Thanks guys! read more

Great experience. They were able to fit me into the schedule in a matter of days and were easy to communicate with. Day of the move went very smoothly. They did a great job and offered a great rate. read more

The team was quick and efficient at loading and unloading. All the furniture were reassembled. They did the job as expected. Unfortunately, I would not use this company again. There seems to be a high pressure culture for the crews to get online reviews. The team lead repeatedly asked me to post 5 star reviews before the job was done. When one of our friends posted a 4 star review, the team lead would not let up until it was corrected to a 5 star review. He said he would be fired if the 4 star review remained online. It created an uncomfortable tension during an already stressful move. I am grateful for their good hard work, but I would prefer to post a review because of the quality of service, not because I feel pressured to in the moment. The crews should be allowed to do their job without worrying about how many 5 star reviews they can get from the customer. read more

Ika Sosa and team were fantastic! I moved into a new home and they were extremely careful with the walls/fresh paint to ensure there were no dings. Thank you the high level of quality you put into the move! I appreciate it very much. read more

Ira, Soso and George were awesome. Ira comminicated well, showed up on time, and worked hard and efficiently through the day to get everything moved carefully. They wrapped the furniture, packed the last few things that weren't done when they arrived, and were very careful not to damage any property. They asked all the right questions about setup and location on the destination. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Zip to Zip were phenomenal. They worked efficiently and with a smile. They moved me from central Jersey to Pennsylvania. They got to PA in a driving rain, did their best to keep things dry, and when the garage ( where we intended to store much of it) started flooding , they worked hard to improvise a gravel dam to keep it dry. Nice, personable and organized. Eager to please. Otto, the team leader even taught us some Georgian. Very easy to recommend them, no reservations. read more

George and his crew did an outstanding job with our move. They were professional, efficient, and handled everything with great care. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and made what could have been a stressful day go incredibly smoothly. George runs a well-organized team that takes pride in their work. Everyone was respectful and courteous. I would highly recommend George and his crew to anyone looking for reliable, top-quality movers. read more

I hired Zip-to-Zip to move some items from West Grove, PA to West Chester, PA, and many items to a small town in Maine, west of Augusta. They met me at 8 AM, as promised, they packed extremely efficiently, and took great care in making sure everything was cushioned/protected. They brought the two large items to our house in West Chester, picked up two more items for Maine, and then drove the rest of the way. They did not get to the Maine house until 9 PM, but they were just as energetic unloading the truck as they were loading it 12 hours prior. The two workers were conscientious and very clear with their communication. I still wish I had put an AirTag in something, so I could track their progress driving north, but they gave me a heads up when they were an hour out anyway. I would highly recommend Zip-to-Zip Moving based in PA. Very professional! (Great tip - ask for a discount if you pay in cash!!) read more

Zip to Zip Moving was fantastic. Vasily and Patrick arrived on time and worked quickly, handling everything with care. When a few items didn't fit, they came back for a second trip without any hassle. They were friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I would gladly hire them again. read more

Big thank you to Vakhtang and Archil for their professionalism, efficiency, and taking out all the stress from our move! I spent about a week shopping around, getting quotes, and reading reviews. I was getting very stressed out and aphrenrsive as I seemed to read so many negative reviews for so many moving companies. Granted most of the "moving companies" were brokers and not direct movers. I finally decided on Zip to Zip, as they offered the lowest quote (by far!) and were a direct moving company - not a broker. Further, I went to a few of their review pages on different platforms, and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive! This helped put me at ease as I had read so many negative reviews from some of the other companies (brokers) about last minute price hikes, damaged items, and no-shows. (Quick Note: After all my research I've learned to stay far away from brokers. Even if you don't use Zip-to-Zip, though no reason why you shouldn't, do NOT use a broker!) I will admit, I was still a little apprehensive about this move given all I'd read about other companies, but when the movers showed up on time, spoke to me clearly and politely, and began packing carefully yet quickly, mind mind was quickly put at ease. Regarding the price - as mentioned above, the offered the lowest quote by far. The price did increase by a few hundred when all was said and done, but that was because the estimate was for 5 hours total move, and it ended up taking 7hrs. However, customer service did explain this to me before making a deposit explaining how they calculate the final price and that the quote they gave me was an estimate, so there were no hidden charges or surprises. These movers worked fast, didn't take a break, and zero damage to any of our belongings. We underestimated just how much stuff we had 7 hrs (2hrs driving time from PA to NJ) was more than reasonable. At one point, I was considering renting a truck and doing the move myself (and just trying to get some friends/family to help out) - while that may have saved me a bit of cash - I am VERY glad I didn't go that route! These guys were pros! The removed all the stress and got the job done in at least half the time it would've take me to do myself. Thanks again Vakhtang and Archil! Funny enough, after the move, I was chatting with my building manager of the place I was moving out - I was telling him about the move, and the week I spent getting quotes and reading reviews...When he moved, they also used Zip to Zip. He too said how incredible they were with moving their stuff with full care and efficiency. So word is getting out! Also a shout out the the customer service rep, Daniella! She was polite, patient, a clear communicator, and didn't pressure me into booking a truck right then and there on our first call. She allowed me to take my time and answer my follow-up calls and emails. The same cannot be said about some of the other reps from different companies, so thank you for the courtesy! read more

Never had a better moving experience! We had just about the worst weather imaginable, and yet everything was still perfect. Coordination in the lead up and then on the day of was really great. They were always available to talk through and update our inventory. Ever since I grew out of being able to move my own house without breaking every bone in my body, I had nothing but bad experiences with movers. This broke that trend, so I'm very happy to give them 5 stars. Thanks to all the Georges and everyone else who helped! read more

I have been very happy with my move as completed by the Zip to Zip crew. They act like they have done this many many times before. They have a well thought out process, are well organized, efficient and willing to be flexible to meet my needs. George and his crew sat down with me and explained how the entire process would work, what it would cost and how long it would take. Everything was done on time and professionally. Any complications that came up were handled to my satisfaction. I would use them again. read more

Never got back to me after multiple calls and emails back and forth a week before the move.

I used it twice. The first time was amazing. However not the second time. Firstly there was a staff using my toilet without asking first, and clogged it. Omitting details to civilize this post. Also a box went missing. And they only compensate it for about half of what the box worth. Overall 3 stars read more

I have been in the professional project management business for over 40 years. I have been responsible for millions of square feet of office relocations. George and his crew were very efficient and careful with our furniture! We had oak furniture and a stone slab for a table, both of which are fragile. Our five star experience started with a prompt reply and quote when I contacted them on Yelp for an in-town move. The move was from a third floor condo with terrible exterior stairs to a three-story house. The team showed up right on time on moving day and worked hard in the summer heat for hours. They quickly and safely wrapped up any furniture that needed protection and got it across town without a scratch. This included disassembling and reassembling a grandfather clock, a king sized bed frame and head board, and a pair of leather reclining couches. They were able to get the king bed and frame up narrow- 100+year old stairs and reassemble it without a problem. The team was friendly, wore masks when needed, and showed up with all of the packing and wrapping supplies necessary to get the job done! We are very happy with our move and will recommend Zip to Zip to friends and family! read more

From start to finish Zip To Zip Moving was responsive, reliable, and great to work with. I coordinated my move with George through Yelp then had George, Nick, and George move me. They were able to generate a quote quickly and schedule my move under a short lead time. They showed up on time and ensured all of my items were transported safely and carefully. The moving team was very friendly and pleasant to work with. The whole move took a little under 3 hours from Chelsea to the Upper East Side which was quicker than expected. I am very happy with my experience with Zip To Zip Moving and I'll recommend them to anyone looking to move. I reached out to a handful of movers on Yelp and Zip to Zip provided quick responses and the best price. All I needed moved was one king sized bed across town. I received an offer from another mover that was almost double what Zip to Zip was planning to charge. Realistically, it was just one king sized bed that needed to be disassembled and moved. On moving day, they arrived punctually. I was quoted that they would arrive 8AM - 9AM. They arrived 8AM on the DOT. They were nothing but smiles the entire time. With a king sized mattress weighing almost 130-180 pounds, it was a struggle but they were able to do it. Upon arrival at the shipping address, they asked if I wanted to reassemble the bed. They were already over their quoted time (due to traffic), but they were stuck around and finished the job properly. I'm glad to have found them on Yelp and will keep them in mind for future! read more

Incredible moving company and experience. Alex was incredibly helpful from the start with getting us an affordable deal on our preferred date. We were in the process of renovating the home before moving in, so we needed to change our move in date last minute. Alex was very flexible and still honored our original rate (which was at a discount). Joseph (excuse spelling if applicable) and his team were very professional, efficient, and took thorough measures to keep our items safe. We had a very positive experience with zip to zip moving and would highly recommend them! read more

Joseph and his associate were fabulous today. Arrived early, communicated clearly, took great care of our furniture and boxes. They loaded us with incredible care to take full advantage of our space for the container. Really impressed and they finished under their estimated time. Would hire again, will have them return for out next move. Moving is spendy, but their price was competitive and their attitude was awesome. Really pleased read more

Updated Review: A mix of good with some okay parts too. The good is that the movers were fast, efficient, and pleasant. The other good part is that, because of my original review (which had some of the same legitimate criticisms posted below), they were very apologetic and offered me a partial refund, which I appreciated. (I've removed much of my criticism of the actual moving team because, after thinking on it and discussing it with my wife, I realized I was being too critical.) Here's the stuff that was just okay: The moving team arrived two hours late, and Zip to Zip didn't inform me until the last second. Again, I'm not sure why this happened. But, in fairness, they were driving from New Jersey to Connecticut through NYC traffic. And it really didn't alter my moving plans. Overall, this wasn't a big deal, but I would have appreciated the heads up. Also, the estimate they provided before hand was about $100 short of the actual amount (less than a 10% difference), even though the movers ended up moving 20 boxes less than I estimated. Customer service did not address this issue or explain why the estimate was so off, but they refunded me more than this amount, so I'll call it a wash. Finally, when discussing the refund, the customer service representative was very pushy about trying to get me to remove this review as a quid pro quo for the refund. I did not agree to this, but did agree to amend my review for the reasons explained above. In sum, the movers were quick, efficient, and pleasant, and knew what they were doing. I'd recommend them in you're in Jersey. read more

We moved today. The following are facts about how the day went: 1.) George and his crew of two other gentlemen were helping us 2.) This couldn't have possibly gone any better 3.) This was cheaper than three other places I got quotes from 4.) I usually help out when we move. I barely lifted a finger. They assembled everything perfectly 5.) I won't move with anyone else ever in the Philly area 6.) They finished in less time than I expected I can't say good enough things about this crew. They're friendly, professional and just all around awesome. I barely wrote reviews and I didn't wait to write this one. Thank you George and team for your help. read more

We needed to move a 1 bed 1 bath apartment into a 2 bed 2 bath apartment that was less than 20 minutes away. We made sure to communicate that we won't need any help packing things into boxes (purchased just over $300.00 worth of materials ourselves from Home Depot). Zip To Zip Moving quoted us $895 for the move and let the company know that we'll be paying in cash to omit the extra $$$ for paying with credit card. Movers came later than expected, very nice guys. Asked if they can use some of their materials to pack the furniture securely which included a 6 piece sectional, 1 super inexpensive mirror, 1 old small tv, 1 dresser, 1 small wooden chest, 2 table lamps, 2 floor lamps). The movers forgot one of the floor lamps so I drove all the way back to get it before it was stolen. We were charged over $2000.00 for all of this. Never again, ever. read more
