For the actual moving, they were INSANELY fast, and we were ahead of schedule the whole time. Genuinely moving at the speed of light. We were in and out of my old place in 40 minutes (granted, that depends on the amount of stuff). Romy was super nice, very reassuring, and all of them helped me move the extra stuff from my car as well. All my more delicate furniture was wrapped nicely and moved carefully. Overall, I went into this with a lot of stress beforehand, but was left feeling reassured and pretty calm. No complaints, would hire again!

Before our move, I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with a rep named Gavin, going through the measurements of all of my furniture and various passageways. He assured me everything would go completely smoothly. Their claims department offered me $150 as compensation, even with more than $8000 worth of estimates/receipts from contractors and handymen. Crazy and dishonest. Have had great experiences with other moving companies in the area. Go with Piece of Cake or White Glove.

On moving day, Eugene and the two other guys on his team were awesome. They were really careful and thorough with everything. They wrapped our furniture and belongings extremely well, and we didn't have a single thing damaged. They also took the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture, which was a huge help. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole move. The only thing I would mention is that the move took longer than we originally expected. BUT honestly, I don't really see this as a negative because it was clear that they were taking their time and doing things the right way. We've had movers in the past who rushed, cut corners, and ended up damaging things, so I would much rather have a team take a little longer and be careful with our stuff. Overall, we were really happy with Albo and would definitely recommend them. Moving is stressful enough, so having a team that you can trust to actually take care of your belongings makes a huge difference!

Paul (owner) and College Hunks Hauling Junk were a horrible experience from start to finish…read more We booked this move two weeks in advance, so it was especially alarming when, the night before our scheduled move, Paul suddenly called me from his personal cellphone and said he had to come to our apartment that night for us to sign a quote, claiming he could not send it via email. This immediately felt odd and unnecessary. He came over late in the evening, which made the situation even more uncomfortable, and he gave off extremely creepy vibes. I do not recommend this company if you are a woman and would be alone with this man in your home. While there, he pushed me toward choosing the cheapest option for him, the one dollar per pound replacement coverage, which barely covers anything if items are damaged. I initially signed a different option, and he told me to cross it out and re sign where he told me to. This was a huge red flag. The next day, we had to sign the same contract again with the actual movers. I still do not understand why Paul needed to come over the night before, especially considering the move had been booked well in advance. It felt unnecessary and unsettling. After evaluating our apartment, Paul selected the truck size himself. He chose one that was too small and then blamed the issue on our street being too narrow, despite previously saying a truck would fit if neighbors moved their cars, which we did. Because of his poor planning, not all of our belongings fit, and we were forced to rent a U Haul on top of everything else. To make matters worse, the movers broke a glass door pane. When I raised the issue, Paul lied and claimed we asked for two hundred dollars off the bill, which is completely false. My only request was to speak with our landlord to coordinate replacement of the broken glass. Overall, this felt like a scheme rather than a professional moving service. Between the unnecessary late night visit, the pressure to sign specific paperwork, the poor planning, and the dishonesty afterward, this experience was stressful and uncomfortable. Buyer beware. P.S. He repeatedly bragged about being on a radio station once and mentioned his dad being a contractor at one point. It was uncomfortable.

I had a fantastic experience with Zip to Zip for my out-of-state move…read more Alanna Brown, my relocation specialist, was patient, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the entire planning process easy and found me the best-priced moving date. All I had to do was send photos of my apartment--she accurately documented my inventory, provided a competitive quote, and, most importantly, the quote was honored with no surprises. On moving day, Ika and Soso arrived right on time. They worked quickly while taking great care of my belongings, and they were both friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with throughout the move. The entire move was completed just under the estimated time, and the final price matched the quote exactly. Reliable and transparent - highly recommend.

After talking to them, I knew I wanted to go with them. Their customer service, attention to details, and organization are 5-star levels. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!
