In a nutshell, SETT Movers took 100% of the stress of moving away from me. Every single person in this family owned business is conscientious and really made me feel like they cared about being of service to me. We did our move in a few parts. The first part was that they spent 2 solid days packing my 5,000 square foot home. When I unpacked, I was amazed with how well everything was wrapped and secured in each box. The second phase was moving over the kitchen (including the contents of 3 refrigerators & freezers) and all of our personal items. Every box was clearly marked which room it had been packed from and what it contained and in the new house, each box was put in the right room. We have a very intricate bunk bed with attached staircase that was disassembled at one place and reassembled in the new house so much better than it was originally. They had me give them the exact spot to the inch where I wanted the bed assembled because it can't be moved afterwards. These guys really know furniture. We left the bulk of the furniture in the old house for staging purposes. After that house sold, they were back to pack & move the rest of the stuff. The way they wrap every single piece of furniture to ensure protection, is unbelievable. They wrap everything in blankets and plastic. Then at the other end they unwrap everything and dispose of all their garbage. Also, they tape sheets of brown paper all over the carpeting for protection while they are doing the moving. I literally had these guys rearranging furniture in the living room for 30 minutes before i was sure everything was where I wanted it. And they did it all with a smile and constant reassurance that it was their job and they were glad to do whatever would make me the happiest. I lost 2 cordial glasses in the move and that was probably my own fault for not checking all the wrapping paper thoroughly enough, so that's my one piece of advice to you. Thoroughly unwrap every single piece of wrapping paper even if you think it's just buffer paper. Also, not one thing was broken. For the amount of stuff we had to move, I expected SOMETHING to break. So, aside from how well these guys all work together and how efficient they are, they are just so friendly with good attitudes that I wish I had occasion to see them all again. Oh and the bill. Absolutely no hidden costs. I used another moving company a year prior for a rental property, and it cost me double what they quoted me plus the owner asked me if I planned on tipping his guys. He also charged me for the time his guy spent going to his warehouse for supplies. I refused to pay that of course because they should've come prepared. SETT Movers came prepared and the customer service from them is EXCEPTIONAL. Don't bother shopping around. Just use them. You WILL NOT be sorry! read more

This moving company was AWESOME!! My moving day started out terrible. The moving company I had hired wrote my move date down wrong (even though I called the day before to confirm) and told me I had better start "thumbing through the phonebook." SETT rescued my moving day. SETT movers moved my stuff across town on short notice (I think they had a cancellation). They were respectful, professional and competitively priced. None of my things were broken or damaged. They were organized, quick and efficient. They really knew what they were doing. I have a 100-year-old antique writing desk that looks great, but has many parts and is difficult to move without it falling apart, and SETT moved it no problem. Also, my son has a giant castle bed that needs to be taken apart into a million pieces and put back together, but the guys from SETT were not intimidated by that. They knew exactly what to do. When hiring a moving company, I was afraid I would be in danger (I'm a single mom), that my things would be stolen and damaged, and that since I'm a woman I would be taken advantage of on price. None of that happened. SETT Movers gave me a fair price, my things were respected and protected, I was respected, and nothing was stolen or broken. What more could I ask for? Yesterday (July 24th, 2018) we helped our niece move. Our realtor suggested Sett Movers do the local move for us. The crew, Ron & Nick were great. 1. They showed up on time. 2. The crew properly and respectfully introduced themselves to us upon arrival. 3. They brought the appropriate equipment to do the move and it all worked. 4. They did a comprehensive walk through with us as to what was being moved and what was staying. 5. The crew worked quickly with no dilly dallying around. 6. Everything was properly packed with NO damage upon arrival. 7. They crew worked like together a well oiled machine. 8. Upon arrival at the new house, they brought in 2 extra guys so they could complete the job quicker as it was getting late. 9. They happily placed everything where we wanted it to go. 10. They cleaned up the mess of moving. 11. When finished they did a walk around to make sure everything was where we wanted and happily moved stuff as requested. 12. We hired SeTT Movers last month for a move from Princeton to Cape May. They came out and provided an estimate which was reasonable and easy to understand (number of men for job and truck, time for packing, unloading and driving) The crew that came out were top notch. Mitch, Dave, Nick and Brian worked efficiently while also taking care of ensuring no damage to property or items being moved. I also needed them to stop at a storage facility as not all items were coming to the new house. And I needed them to move/ rearrange some furniture at our new house (that already had furnishings.) They were very accommodating for all my requests. What was even more amazing was that since the job took less time than estimated, they adjusted the bill accordingly and I paid less then anticipated. This is the second time I used Sett Movers. This time I needed furniture contents from home in Florida brought back to Bayville. The team was amazing...Rob and Castro were the best of the best. They kept me informed thru the whole process with weather and estimated time of arrival. They handled my belongings with care...like it was there own stuff. There were no bad surprises...only GOOD! I used this company when I was under the gun when my house sold at a "short sale" back in October 2018. Tara was wonderful explaining the whole process, which I sorely needed as I was beside myself with so much short notice stuff to tend to. I have used this company twice now. First to help move my Mom from her house to an apartment and then again to move her from the apartment to my sister's house. Movers ended being great, but I was disturbed they were going to arrive two hours late. They made up for it by bringing in extra help. Got us away 1/2 hour earlier than we had planned. They traveled the next day and then unloaded in 100+ degree weather. They didn't complain even though we did. They set everything up. And went they packed everything was wrapped.
