Two moves in two years with the moving guys...i was do happy the first time I requested the same crew.i was told I could have at least one of the men....non of those movers showed up! The move was ok until one of the men discovered my grandmother's antique mirror was broken. I called the owner Larry the next day and was told he had no idea that this happened.he sent me a claim form which I.promptly filled out...that was the last I heard from him.he would not answer my phone calls , or Emails.this u Is no way to run a business!

My wife and I had a horrifying experience with these 'Moving Guys.' 1) Let's start with the most ridiculous: one mover, a driver no less, was literally drinking on the job, swaying and slurring his speech by the end the day. 2) In the midst of a global pandemic that's killed more than 16 thousand New Jerseyans, management DID NOT require their workers to wear masks when entering other people's homes and REFUSED to wear the ones we provided. 3) Despite prior agreement, confirmed three separate times, they showed up without required packing materials. We were forced to leave some items & later retrieve them on our own. 4) Their unpreparedness led to delay - which the crew bitterly complained about & led to haphazard placement of our furniture and created an uncomfortable atmosphere of annoyance and frustration towards us. 5) Terrible attitude and abrasiveness aside, they were bad at their job & completely reckless with our possessions. I am attaching a few pictures of the hundreds - if not thousands - of dollars of damage sustained to our things. Damage, we should note, we did not make a fuss over at the time because we wanted the whole, horrible experience to be over as soon as possible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would be remiss if I did not mention that there were workers who were helpful, positive and clearly trying to compensate for the others and the incompetent company.

These guys are slick. They moved my business and they weren't careful one bit. Damaged one of the filing cabinets. Spoke with a guy name LARRY.. who said someone will email me with the claim form... returned the claim form and they have not gotten back to us. It's JUNE and this happened END OF MARCH. Base on my observation, the guys that they hire to move stuff for this company LACKS COMPASSION. They smelled like cigarettes on top of their sweat. As a business owner, this is UNACCEPTABLE and it leaves me as a customer dry and pissed. Pro tip: don't hire these guys

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!…read more We used this company a little over 2 years ago to move from New Jersey to South Florida and we were NOT happy. Not only because right AFTER we signed the contract, our contact person and the owner of the company, ALEX, became very rude and aggressive, but also because although we had a deadline by which we needed our furniture and boxes to be delivered, he was a week late. No sorry, no explanation, no trying to work things out and maybe refunding some of the money for not complying with his own contract. NOTHING. Just "do you want your stuff or NOT?" Well, that was our experience. Fast forward to this year when our elderly parents decided to move to South Florida from New Jersey as well. Against our advice NOT to use this guy, they decided to go with him anyway. Well, they are sorry now. Oh, and by the way, these people are an elderly in their 70s. Well, they were completely ripped off and this is putting it nicely. Alex was the only person that they dealt with the entire time. They needed to pack their house first (due to the fact that they sold it very quickly) and then move to South Florida a couple of months later. Alex and his guys detached and pulled the furniture apart. And the family helped packed the boxes and some of the valuables. One of those valuables was a large antique Italian mirror valued at over $2,000, a prized possession of this family. They pleaded with Alex to pack it adequately to make sure that it does not get damaged during the move. The family members packed it as much as they could themselves, wrapping it in plastic and blankets, and then asked Alex to put it in the box to which he replied: "don't tell me how to pack and move stuff. I do this for a living." Well, that mirror arrived completely broken. Alex would not return calls or address this situation in any way. Why would he, right? He made sure he got paid before the furniture was even taken off the truck and unpacked. And then, he disappeared and would not answer calls. AT ALL! During the packing of the furniture, Alex told the couple that they needed to give him a deposit of $400.00 for the "old and dirty" large blankets that were used to wrap some of the big pieces. However, upon delivery of the furniture, he was supposed to take the blankets back and return the $400.00 deposit. He failed to do that, claiming that the deposit was only refundable during 30 days. That was a lie. He never told the couple that there was a 30 day limit and he knew very well that the couple had to pack up their house and put everything in storage in New Jersey and then move to Florida a couple of months later. Again, the ripped them off an extra $400.00 for the ugly and disgusting blankets that he uses during his moves when it is his job to use these things to pack people's valuables in the first place. Also, upon arrival of the furniture at the designated address in South Florida, the movers that delivered the furniture DID NOT know how to put it back together because they were not the same movers that pulled the furniture apart during the packing. So, the couple ended up paying extra money to some local guys who were able to put the furniture together. Alex, once again, was nowhere to be found. He wouldn't answer calls or respond to voicemail that the couple left over and over again. Finally, when the furniture and the boxes were actually moved, not everything was delivered. Alex left back approximately 20 boxes, claiming that there was no more space on the truck for those boxes. Well, since he made the couple PAY THE REST OF THE MONEY when the truck arrived in South Florida - the movers basically told them either you pay now and we deliver it OR you won't get your stuff - he failed to deliver the rest of the 20 boxes COMPLETELY. The couple, in fear of using another scamming moving company, decided to ship those boxes via UPS, paying an extra $1,000 on top of what they already paid US Power Moving. Alex and his moving company completely ripped off this elderly couple during their move. They paid over $6,000 all together and ended up with damaged valuables and horrible moving experience. SHAME ON YOU ALEX, PERSONALLY, FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THESE NICE AND TRUSTING PEOPLE.

A about 3 foot x 2 foot x 1 foot (approx) ceramic and metal sculpture was included in the move as they had appropriately and successfully moved the piece before with NY. As appropriate, the contract included foam encasement of the rather delicate sculpture that only has a few attachment sites to the metal frame (a bike) and multiple ceramic figures with arms, legs, hands, and a sun for a head. Moises packers used about 6-10 loosely folded pieces of paper (newsprint sized - daily NY post not NY times sized paper) around the sculpture, and another 2 ish pieces sort of crumpled around the top (see photo of just opened box w top and top packaging visible.) deliverers took same photo, I assume, since they snapped shots at the same time. In addition, the "box" was folded around the top of the sculpture, which (originally) had sun rays poking through DURING SHIPMENT. As is visible in a photo, some of the sun rays broke off (big surprise), and the rest suffered obvious damage and chipping. Of the 3 ceramic pieces originally attached to the bike frame, two broke off completely and suffered major damage. All figures lost some body parts, most lost fingers and parts of / damage to feet. Notice severe breakage in photo of the broken off figures in photo. Other items also came out damaged, just less valuable and more like cracks, stress fractures, and broken shelving / separators in , for example, a large lucite unit (2ftx3ishftx4ft). Also packing was clearly more intended to create chargeable packing volume than protection. Dishes that were already in smaller manageable boxes were repacked into a huge (now super heavy) box putting the dishes together (still have to check breakage at bottom of huge triple box) with about a foot of mostly open space at top (chargeable space!!!) and a few barely folded (literally 2 or 3) pieces of newsprint on top to "protect" against vertical movement during transport. And an echo dot was the ONLY item contained in a regular 1ft x 1ft x 2ft box - with a little folded paper again for company. And boxes going to 3 locations were supposed to be dropped off at ups, where ups repackaged (at our cost) and shipped (at our cost. Because from ups they went to 3 separate locations, but all went together from starting point to ups, we were charged $500 base charge for each final location - even though moishe's only took a single trip to ups to drop off the about 8 pre-marked for location boxes. DO NOT TRUST MOISHE's - AND THEY WONT EVEN REVERSE SHIPPING CHARGES AFTER ALL THE DAMAGE, INAPPROPRIATE PACKING TO OVERCHARGE SPACE, OVER CHARGE TO UPS... THEY ARE NEITHER RELIABLE NOR RESPONSIVE TO CONCERNS.
