I found this company through Google. Although I only went through the estimation process, CSABI's professionalism and efficiency truly live up to their name--FIRST-RATED. I called them, and CSABI asked me for some details about the move and provided professional advice. They then arranged a video estimate on the same day. During the video call, CSABI carefully reviewed all the items to be moved. Since we only had about half a room of belongings, all already packed, plus a few bicycles, CSABI calculated everything and gave me a very good quote. Because my husband's relocation plan has been postponed, we haven't used their services yet. However, based on our interactions so far, I can say that they are a trustworthy company. We had First Rate pack up our belongings at our home in north jersey and store then for 3 months until we closed on our mid-jersey home. The mive out went very well, including an upright piano and a large sectional sofa.. All our belonging were carefully packed and secured, all closets in wordrobe crates, and an exceptional amount of protective packaging for delicate items., and withstood storage well. If you're considering first rate moving company let me warn you now. DON'T!!! I moved the end of April and am still finding damage on my furniture. I have solid wood pieces that the crew would wrap in plastic and put tape all over the piece damaging my property. Also the crew was just placing boxes anywhere. It took me a few hours to realize that half the crew didn't speak English. When I would tell some of the crew where to place items they would nod and put boxes labeled as fragile or this end up upside down with heavy large boxes on top. It was a nightmare. I STRESSED more often than not that our furniture is Heavy, Important to us and will it be handled with care! And it was! I boxed all my own things accept the furniture which they wrapped. Fine movers on the pickup end. They were very slow, but nice guys - I wasn't in any particular rush, so it didn't matter. As someone else mentioned, they jacked up the price $250 on pickup. Stay away from them. I reserved them for a move and put thousands of dollars down. I got cancer so they extended my date by one year from the date that I called them to let them know that I had cancer and was unable to move due to chemo and radiation. Well we got close to that time so we went to schedule it just to move the furniture to the east coast and they told me, "Oh no, that was one year from you original contract date." That is not at all what was said to me on the phone!!!!! It was suggested I get an attorney and file a claim against them as I am working on now because we got nothing and they got around $5k from us with doing nothing at all. I paid over $5k to move states with only about 1 bedroom and an office worth of stuff. they told me it would be here by the 5th of September, which was perfect because i moved on September 1st. September 5th comes around, I'm in an empty house in a new state. NOT ONE WORD from them. AT ALL. about a week goes by i finally get ahold of them, they tell me it will be no later than Monday, September 12. Monday comes around, NOT ONE WORD. finally hear from them, after calling about 10 times, and they say the "truck had problems" so the new new date is the morning of September 14th (today) Driver texted me at 9:30 AM saying "1:30PM", which was fine with me. you can probably guess what happens next. 1:30 comes around, NOT ONE WORD. called the company 10 times, the driver about 8 times, NOTHING. it is now 3:30 and i finally got ahold of them. Driver is over an hour away ON ANOTHER JOB. so now i got to wait around for the entire day wondering exactly when they will get here. 2 weeks in an empty house because of this awful company. save the money, move it all yourself. you will do 500x better than job than these "professionals" what a joke read more

This moving company is terrible, do not book with them. They care only about getting the maximum amount of money out of you only, they do not care about your belongings. They jacked up my price $600 upon pickup and once again upon drop-off. You will be nickled and dimed for things completely out of your control like if they have to walk further than 75 feet, or god forbid you live on the second floor and they have to use stairs or an elevator. Because guess what? You're footing the bill for that. They were going to potentially have to move my items into a smaller truck to fit into my complex, which I was going to have to pay for. How is it the customer's fault that a certain truck size won't fit into the complex they live in? Why is that cost passed down to the customer? Completely unprofessional crews on both ends of my move, especially on drop-off. They were touching my belongings in my kitchen, and one guy called me a week later asking if he left his watch at my place. Why are you calling your customers about your watch? Completely unprofessional and creepy that they shared my information with their employees like that. Just so thoroughly unprofessional across the board. A number of my items arrived damaged, and they lost items. I was appalled at the condition of the boxes and my items upon drop-off. I've done a cross country move before and I know you have to expect some items getting damaged, but this was absolutely abysmal compared to the other move I did. I feel like I didn't need first grade movers brokers at all they did next to nothing and collected $900 they gave me wrong information on the first phone call they acted like they were concerned about me and my move and called me a few days before the move only to try to pressure me to buy more space in the truck they did that twice and the second time they got kind of nasty about it and he said we're reserving more space for you because you're going to need it they also tried to convince me I wouldn't be able to take everything and would have to leave things behind when the movers got there they were great they are not from first rate movers the truck was not labeled so I don't know where they were from but they were efficient and a short time had everything on the truck and assured me everything would fit when they looked at it in fact more would have fit then I had they retake the bins to make sure that they would not come open during the move and the guys that unloaded the truck at the other end of my destination were also very efficient and did the job wonderfully however I did not know that my things would be moved from the original truck to another truck moving company wonderful brokers do without if you can read more

THIS COMPANY IS RUN BY CROOKS who are also liars. They quoted a low rate up front and two days before the move the price more than doubled. they said we had 30% more stuff and that translated into double the original cost. When we questioned the significant increase in charges the guy said we could find another company or get rid of some stuff so we would be moving the amount that was originally quoted. They promised a crew of 3 but only 2 showed up to load and the head mover was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and condescending. 10 days later, the stuff was delivered. It had been sitting in a warehouse for several days and arrived on a different truck. There was only one person on the delivery truck to unload everything and he was given the wrong address for delivery , so the driver was late. This poor man had to unload everything by himself. Not only do they treat their customers poorly but they also treat their drivers like garbage. There is nothing good I can say about this company or our experience and I would encourage you to STEER CLEAR unless you are up for getting totally ripped off. read more

only one person speak English and when they say fragile, they just stuck it in your way. they put heavy boxes on top of light boxes ending up crushing the boxes they don't take care of your stuff and they end up with a bunch of holes in them. my mom made a review on them to where this guy by the name of Avi called us and threatening us that he's going to take legal action on a one-star rating.
