We are staying at the Hyatt in Denver and the surprise for us is the Apple Blossom restaurant. The drinks are artisanal and the food is amazing. My dish is the Grilled Rocky Mountain Trout. The flavors and accompanying elements are inspired. Japanese eggplant, shallot confit, yogurt, nduja, dill. If you're in Denver, stop by. The food is amazing and the drinks and wine lists are next level. read more

Apple Blossom - New American Near Me - Denver, Colorado

The food was pricy but delicious. My first time ever experiencing caviar. Not what I expected in a good way. Staff was polite but gave maybe too much space. read more

I was visiting from Orange County and heard it was a place to go to in Denver. The food was ok! The service were great!

We just came here for cocktails and they were very tasty! Staff was super friendly and they even had a waiter dressed up as the grinch, in full character! It was a great experience! We will be back. read more

Our breakfast group has visited most of the downtown restaurants and this is one of the best. It has unique offerings, and the quality of the food is outstanding. The menu is limited but it offers some wonderful options not found elsewhere. I had the deep-fried caramel apple French toast. WOW! Service was very friendly and helpful. Note that although the restaurant is in a hotel, it is a family-owned business. We will be back. read more

Terrible service came downstairs to get a drink we a vouchers for free drinks but there was only one employee working and she was less than nice. It's my wife's 40th birthday and we were trying to celebrate but she saw the vouchers when we asked about house drinks and blew us off. We planed on ordering more than one drink maybe even closing it down but instead we just ordered cappuccinos. She made the point to tell another employee she didn't want to make anymore free coffees. Thanks for giving us such a bad service for was going great until this experience definitely put a damper on our mood! read more

5 stars for this place for their awesome food and service. They let us in 15 mins before closing time and offered super nice service. We ordered a number of different vegetarian dishes and each one was just outstanding! I loved their butter bean hummus (best I ever had), walnut sticky bun, and burrata cheese. Highly recommend this place! read more

Came here for breakfast- we were seated super fast with no wait. Latte was wonderful and the service was kind without being overly chatty. Had the soup of the day which was a white bacon and bean and the cereal which was perfect for the morning. Very clean and for the quality of the food and drinks we received, it was a good value. Would come back- read more

We just left in a bit of a huff. Most obnoxious, condescending, and passive-aggressive wait person/bartender I've encountered in quite some time. My girlfriend and I entered at the same time as another couple into the main restaurant space. We came through the hotel, they through the street entrance. The bartender came from behind the bar, grabbed menus, and seated the other couple. We were left standing. I asked if the large dining room was opened and he responded, "No, it is not." I asked if we could get a table in the space near the bar and he replied, "Anywhere you like," but didn't provide menus. After a few mins, he came over and asked if we'd like to start with a drink. My gf declined, I asked if they had iced coffee. He said he "thinks he can do that." He asks if I want anything in it and when I say "a little half and half," he replies, "So, in other words, a latte." I said, "No, just a little half and half," to which he replied, "Ok, I'll get your latte." Yet another couple comes in, are seated, with menus, and a second waiter takes their order within a few minutes. He turns, walks past us, makes eye contact with me and says nothing. Five minutes later, no iced coffee or menus, but the couple that arrived later than us has already put their order in. I finally decide to go to the bar to ask for menus. As I approach, the original waiter looks right at me and walks away. So I just call out, "May we get some menus," and he directs me to where I can find them on my own. We look over the menu, wait five more minutes. Still no iced coffee and still no one taking our order, as our charming waiter mixes drinks and chats people up sitting at the bar. The second waiter passes and again looks right at us, and keeps going. At that point, my girlfriend, who is a black woman, says, "Maybe this is a race thing." She adds that she hates to jump to that conclusion, but doesn't feel comfortable staying and adds that "there's something really off about that guy." I told him we were leaving and I admittedly had a few choice words for him. He simply raised his eyebrows and said nothing in response. I have no idea what was behind it, but I've little doubt that this guy decided at the outset to treat us poorly, for no reason that I can fathom. read more

I left without eating anything. When I entered there was a sign directing customers where to go, it did not say wait to be seated. I followed the sign and sat at a table. The restaurant was not busy and I was passed by 3 staff members without being acknowledged. I sat in a highly visible location but no one looked in my direction. After 15 minutes spoke to one of the staff members that kept passing me, and asked if I did something wrong by just sitting down, she said that she didn't realize I hadn't been served (I didn't even have silverware in front of me). She brought a menu and someone else came with a glass and pitcher of water. Was given the brunch menu and asked if I could have the lunch menu and was told no. What I wanted to order was on the lunch menu. I left. read more

Honestly sort of disappointed with my experience at Apple Blossom. We went for dinner and had a variety of dishes. The best thing that any of us got were the dinner rolls and the ham and cheese board. We got the beef short rib rendang and were honestly really thrown off by the price and quality compared to the other small plates we got. The addition of fried anchovy to what shouldn't have been a slightly dry individual piece of short rib just didn't taste good. It was a flavor and texture combo that in our opinions did not go well together. Three out of four entrées were disappointing. The swordfish was over cooked and over salted. The fried chicken's portion size seemed excessive (I know that sounds like a stupid thing to complain about, but it was honestly way too much food). The duck confit french dip was too greasy (roll that was heavily drenched and toasted in some sort of fat plus the fat from the duck made it overwhelming) and the au jus was insanely salty. Like almost inedible salty. The fries with the french dip and the pork tenderloin were just about the only good qualities of the entrées. Our waiter was friendly and did a good job. He said at the beginning of our service that they liked to bring food out in courses. From the time we sat down to the time we had our entrées, we had already been at the restaurant for over an hour. I don't know if that is an intended feature of what our waiter described, but it kind of felt like a convenient excuse for slow service by the end. Overall, it seems like in an effort to put out fine dining style food, the kitchen is forgetting the basics of seasoning correctly and not over cooking food. Some of the ideas on the menu that we experienced did not go well with each other and there is a lot of room for improvement. Our bill was nearly $300 and we honestly expect better when we spend that kind of money at a restaurant. read more

WOW delicious!!! Also great service. I had the eggs Benedict with smoked trout and my wife had the special brunch pancake. Both were amazing. read more

Very rare I take the time to post reviews, but I made an exception here. My dish (croque madame, servers recommendation) was awful, my wife's Benedict would have been almost mediocre except it was cold. Inattentive service, nobody asked how our food was. Maybe the staff isn't quite as motivated since 23% gratuity is automatic? Stay away. read more

We went to Apple Blossom looking for a nice Saturday breakfast, and it turned into a brunch with the lack of urgency that the servers conducted themselves with. It took over 20 minutes to put in drink orders after we sat down, and we were one of two parties dining at the time. On multiple occasions we asked our server for additional things, such as ketchup and a spoon, and they forgot, or (what felt like) didn't care. It's a shame, the service was so awful, because the food was good. Would recommend if you don't have plans for the rest of the day, because you'll need additional time to account for the terrible service. Also, 23% service charge is included in the bill. read more

Worst breakfast experience ever. 3 of 4 orders in our party were wrong. One order was never completed (bacon not delivered with the meal. It took an hour and a half before we decided to give up and cut our losses. Will not dine here again. read more

I blossomed as a person due to my love for this place! We were greeted with roses and warmest regards from the front desk who slowly escorted us to our private dining experience in the middle of the restaurant. I came with 3 of my most annoying and crazy friends (2 of us are like former federal prisoners) whom I love like the apples to my bottom jeans. We ordered the raisin cream leaves and they were literally to die for (CALLING MY VEGAN QUEENS EVERYWHERE). The drinks were a little concerning as they told us the elder berry flowers were taken from the flower display at an elderly person home (that's where the name came from) but they were so charming, yet a little overwhelming. WARNING: they will physically scoot your chair in upon seating which made my friend with trust issues super annoyed but all in all I absolutely adored this hole in the wall diner! Would probably not go again! read more

Apple blossom is a standard hotel breakfast restaurant. The food is tasty but menus is limited. The restaurant caters to hotel guests so it has the same vibe as the Hyatt centric. Very new age millennial which is great for young people. The waiters there are good hotel quality service! Great drinks at night read more

Cocktails taste great, beer is cold, food is good...but there 20 other places within walking distance that offer the same caliber (even on 16th street which is nothing but a tourist trap). I live down the street and have tried to make this a super convenient joint but it just fails every time. I am all for quality, and paying for it, but this place just bends you over if you have a few cocktails and dinner there. Walk a block or two and get more for your money. read more

I went to Apple blossom earlier today. I found it very sub par from the underwhelming staff to the over priced mediocre food. It has a cute atmosphere but it's more for a crowed 50 and older. If you and your friends are looking for a fun, fast paced place, I would not recommend.. read more

Bartender John makes the most AMAZING craft cocktails! I had the breakfast burrito and the green chili was also so delicious!

Drinks were the best part of dinner. Burger too salty. No one wants beet ketchup. Fries were hard and tiny. Next time we stay here... we will skip dinner and just get cocktails read more

Came back for dinner the next day since it started to snow and we didn't want to go out. Dinner was noticeably better than breakfast. We had the dinner rolls, the lamb rigatoni, cheeses and ham board, and cast iron shrimp. We also had drinks. Pros: Cocktail was solid. Better service in the evening with more food options as well. Dinner rolls were freshly baked. The rigatoni was al dente and hearty. Shrimp was flavorful (with surprising flavors) and cooked just right. The cheeses in the board delicious. Cons: Heavy handed on the salt. Also, wish the board came with toast or french bread instead. Overall better experience, I recommend sticking to coffee in the morning and the dinner menu in the evening. read more

We were very rudely greeted at the door and told there was no food left. It was 11am and the sign out front said Brunch was 10am to 2pm. The place was crowded with patrons. We were also told we couldn't sit at the bar for drinks. The bar was not crowded but had a few patrons seated there. It was confusing. We left and won't go back. We've also informed our friends to skip it when they're deciding which business to give their money to. read more

We had Thanksgiving giving lunch here yesterday and we weren't impressed! $50 for a snack! The Turkey was good, but nothing to write home about! The Brussel sprouts were pathetic. There was about a thimble full of gravy (I asked for more and they said "there will be an additional charge, is that alright?" This was tacky as hell! Then the "stuffing"'was a small round hockey puck. The food was room temperature, no one to check on us :( The desert was just alright! You needed a microscope to see the pie, ‍ the apple pie wasn't even warm! No whipped cream, no ice cream! Then we add 20% for tip! You probably would have got more, but you're afraid we won't tip wow! Your restaurant won't make it if you don't do something. For the most part, the food was bland, this was a huge disappointment for our only turkey day this year. read more

Not good food last night for Denver Restaurant week. Lamb pasta undercooked, almost crunchy in texture with hard carrots pieces. Eggplant fritters? What the heck was that?? (tasted like a undercooked donut.) Earl grey cheesecake had no distinct taste-disappointing! Avoid the French Dip dish-- the bread was saturated in duck fat and soggy but then pan fried to toast the bread? Not good. Friends' chicken and charred leeks dishes were decent so reason for extra star. Young clueless woman next to us was coughing up a storm. We left as quickly as we could. read more

Came to Apple Blossom for breakfast when I was staying at the Hilton hotel nearby. Natasha is great, amazing service and very friendly. The Colorado bulldog she made should be on the menu!

Sticky bun tasted 3 days old, and had the burned consistency of being put in a microwave for 90 seconds. The lamb hash was mushy, greasy, and tasted like horseradish and sauerkraut. Spent 90 dollars on a breakfast that was so uninviting and hard to eat . read more

The food was average , unfortunately the soup & fries were cold. The salad was good , just a minute portion for $16. Service, not so good even though it was not busy. First a woman came & took our drink order & then 10 minutes later a man came & asked us if we wanted to order a drink. Thought the soup would come out first but all the food was brought out at once & the soup was cold. Did not get a spoon with the soup & he said he'd bring us one but I had to go to the bar & ask for it. I don't think I'd recommend this place. read more

We had a reservation for Sunday 7/24 at 10am. Was not busy so we were sat fine, host was great. Our waiter took a bit to approach the table and we ordered 3 cappuccino and burrata to start. It took 20 min to get cappucinos and 40 to get our appetizer. Several tables who were seated after us were served before us. I asked our waiter about our food and he was very aloof. Mind you it had been an hour. Food was good but service was bad and they charge a 24% service fee which our waiter def didn't deserve. By time we left chef was having to serve meals so something was not right. Would not recommend. read more

We had lunch here yesterday. I ordered the burger medium and it came charred medium well but beside that it was a tough pile of beef that required a knife and fork to navigate. The bacon was inedible and extremely tough even the knife couldn't penetrate. The Pastrami sandwich ordered was just fat on a bun. The crispy chicken sandwich was a mound of fried coating and dried out chicken. I was pretty shocked, but was unable to say anything as I was with hosts who liked their choices. read more
