This place is large, updated, clean, and modern. It's quite a bit nicer than most pedi / mani places! It's on 15th in the heart of cap hill. They serve wine and do a fantastic job. I saw Vanessa, I never remember anyone's name.. but this lady was meticulous . Even the littlest spot as she was working on my gel mani, she made sure it was absolutely perfect. She cared more than I did, love that. It's a great place to do a girls day, they allow you to bring in your own mimosas, snacks, etc. as well. My regular place was over an hour wait for a gel mani so I decided to try Apollo. My nail tech Vicky did a great job on my cuticles, my least favorite part. She was also very precise and detailed with the polish. The only negatives were the price. $37 for a gel mani. My regular place 2 blocks away charges $25. Second the hand/arm massage was horrible. No pressure, no palm massage and too short. I may go back in a pinch but the price was tough. If the massage was better maybe? The actual manicure was great though. read more

Made an appointment for pedicures with my girlfriend. We were greeted and walked to our chairs within five minutes of arriving. Girlfriend got shellac manicure and a pedicure. My pedicure had a nice hot towel steam and calf/foot massage that I loved. The ambiance is very relaxing, quiet, and professional. The only thing that could make it better is if I could order a nice flute of champagne of a mimosa! We'll be back! read more

I've been to this Capitol Hill location and the site in Queen Anne. Both times, they did a fine job with my mani/pedi. The shellac lasted about the same as other places I've been to. The women working were very nice and I didn't have any problems with my appointments. I just don't think it's worth the money. $90 for a shellac mani/pedi is just too much when I could go lots of other places and spend $55 for the same quality. read more

A little bit pricey but well worth your while. Apollo Nails & Spa did such a great job with my mani/pedi - I know I'll be back multiple times this year! Located on 15th, I liked that this was a little bit out of the way but still close enough to grab a quick brunch at the Wandering Goose or a coffee at Cafe Ladro or Victrola before heading in. They have a huge space with upwards of 12 chairs for pedicures and numerous stations of manicures. Not one corner of the space looked dirty, so I felt very comfortable throughout the experience. The ladies that worked on both my friend and I took their time on our pedicures, but I came out feeling great. Both were very friendly, and also worked on our hands for our shellac manicures. My shellac shape turned out great, and has lasted nearly 3 weeks without a single chip so far. I also loved that they had an online booking system - it made making a reservation, reminders, etc. so much easier than most other nail salons I've been to. All in all, I had a fantastic experience - I would absolutely come back! read more

What I appreciated most about my recent visit to Apollo Spa was that you can make an appointment online, and they actually stay true to your scheduled appointment time. They do charge extra for shellac removal (just something to be aware of), but overall, they did a great job and I will definitely be back. We moved to Seattle 3 weeks ago and started looking for a good nail salon. All places in downtown have negative reviews and more important for me even positive reviews have pictures of really bad work. Appolo Nails&SPA didn't have best reviews either but at least all pictures of work were decent. So I decided to give it a try. I invited my friend and we had both mani and pedi. I did regular polish, she did gel. Both results were really great. We left this place happy. The only one advice I would give to this place manager is to expand the gel brand selection. Currently Appolo is working only with CND and it's not the best product that exists on the market. OPI and ORLY produce really high quality gels. And their color selection is more interesting. Otherwise everything was great. Massaging chairs, scrab, hand massage etc. I will definitely come back and will recommend this place. read more

The salon is nice looking and clean, with nice massage chairs in good condition. The service is another story. We were rushed to pick out colors and get started, but the pedicure was really quick. This is probably the fastest pedicure I've ever received. It was 33$. The experience was lacking, they don't provide any spa like qualities outside of the massage chair like beverages, the employees were rushing us to sit down and rushed through the entire service. I wouldn't come back for the pedicure, but maybe to sit in the massage chairs. read more

Five-star first visit. I'm reviewing from the chair, it's that Incredible(TM). I got a Refreshment Shellac manicure with Spa Pedicure. My manicurist, Lilly, was so meticulous with my cuticles and the application of my sheer opalescent gel polish - in future I'll get a pale pink or white beneath this color, but that's fully on me for not speaking up! Her work was exceptional - fingernails have NEVER looked this good. My pedicurist, Chi, was thorough, friendly, funny, and so kind about me bumping a toe as I got out of the chair! Oops! I very much like the gel polish brand they use, CND. For reference, the scrub was orange-scented, and the essential oil upgrade I requested turned out to be lemongrass (well paired and matched to my white wine, not sure if you can choose the fragrance). My only complaint is they do not take American Express (but I had a MC). Everything else was absolutely incredible. I live 16 miles north of this location, but will definitely be returning. I like Apollo a lot, and go there often, but they overbook themselves and it makes it difficult to keep going there. I called a week in advance to make three 130pm pedicure appointments for myself and two friends, one of them had arranged a babysitter for her first afternoon away from her new baby. The man who took my reservation got the day wrong and when I called to confirm the woman said it wasn't their problem and wouldn't help us for their error. I get that they are busy, but with 20+ chairs i wish the customer service was better and they could have helped - It was super disappointing and stressful to scramble to book somewhere else last minute. read more

Was on vacation this past week and popped into this salon for a little pampering. Paid $70 for a regular pedicure and gel manicure, and although it's pricier than what I'm used to in California, I think it was worth it. The shop is big, clean, and modern and run very well. Everyone is organized and professional -- they actually honor your appointment (I make appointments in San Diego and still wait an hour lol) and the technician communicates often to make sure the water isn't too hot, they're not hurting you, and let you know if they have to get up and do another quick task. I also like that you bring a ticket up to the front when paying -- it's a tiny detail but it's nice to not have techs shouting across the salon telling the cashier how much to charge you. There were 3 receptionists (2 girls, 1 guy), and Victoria was my tech. I had pleasant interactions with all. Extra kudos to Victoria for the best massage everrr. Ended up going home and trimming my cuticles myself because they missed a bunch, and nail tips still felt pretty ragged after having them filed, and she didn't really spend any time shaping them. Felt pretty rushed, two of my nails smudged as soon as I was out of there, but maybe just because I was a walk-in in the afternoon. Probably won't be going back for the price. read more

They're a little pricey than most around the area. My friend and I went for the first time a few weeks ago and she said this was the best shellac manicure she's ever had and it stayed for 3 weeks!! I had a regular pedicure and it was not bad. I originally wanted a shellac pedicure but they said they didn't have enough time to do shellac. Since we were the last ones before closing, I felt rushed and kind of ended up stuffing my toes in my shoes and squishing the polish. :( Overall, a good pedicure but a little rushed. I would make an earlier appointment next time. :) read more

This review may be a little unfair because as far as feet go, mine aren't so bad so maybe there isn't so much work to do? Every mani/pedi I've had leaves me feeling like I could have done it better myself at home for free with a drink in hand. Anyway, I made an appointment for the organic mani/pedi on my birthday. One woman got to work on my feet and a little later another woman came to do my hands at the same time. My treatment basically amounted hand and foot skin treatment. They did a little trim on my nails and cuticles, a little filing, and buffed each nail for about two seconds--not enough to do anything about the ridges in my nails. They did not offer any polish, not even a matte or clear finish. So basically they used some salt scrub and some other products on my hands and feet. They said they were organic, but you're not going to get a "natural experience;" the products look, feel, and smell the same. read more

Huge array of polish choices, plenty of open stations, and they offer you complimentary hot tea/water. The best part is the open space - most nail salons leave me feeling cramped in and I'd rather not share my conversation with the rest of the patrons. I got a basic mani and was very happy with the results! If you book online, things tend to get a little tricky as I don't think they regularly check/sync their schedules. I had a confirmation email but wasn't found on their calendar. Nonetheless, I was immediately seated and taken care of. Thats how you do business folks! read more

I will never understand the appeal of this place. Sure, they sell wine (2 disgusting varieties) but require you to pay for a second salon service if you want a second glass of it. In addition, they are NEVER on time with appointments and I don't think I've ever waited less than 30 minutes and I've had an appointment every time. I spend twice as long in here as I should. Their selection of shellac/gel colors is laughable and they refuse to carry the OPI brand because they think it takes too long to remove (yeah, because it's good quality). I've been a few time for pedicures and finally went in for a mani/pedi combo a few weeks ago which is right around $50 for the two - seems reasonable for the quality/service provided. It's easy to book a last minute appointment because it's a fairly large salon and the staff are very friendly. Service is solid and my nails always come out looking very nice. Booked a last minute shellac mani and organic pedi. Service started promptly and because I had time constraints they were able to accommodate me by having two staff work on me simultaneously. Everything was very well done. The staff was courteous, they properly cut, trimmed, cleaned my nails. The brief foot massage was nice and relaxing. Both my nails were done very well. The whole service was completed as promised in less than an hour. This is certainly not the cheapest nail salon but I think the good service, cleanliness, and ease of making appointment justifies the higher price. Very happy with the experience!! read more

Let me start by saying that the services were good. The facial was relaxing and my skin feels great. A little annoyed that in the description they say "extractions" but they mean they use a little sucker tool and run it over your face once. I received a gift of the "Princess package" which includes European facial, deluxe mani pedi and ether brow or lip wax. Well, that was the package in December 2019 when the gift card was purchased for me. I made my appointment in February 2020 only to find out halfway through my package they no longer provided the waxing in the package. No price change. They just dropped a $18 service from the package. When I confronted the lady at the counter all she said was after the first of the year the package changed. I then informed her that on the website currently it says that the waxing was supposed to be included. The only response I got was " I'll tell Jonny". I gave them a opportunity to make it right but was still charged full price. Before the first of the year it was a great package deal. After, not so much. My nails look nice but the whole experience left a foul taste in my mouth. I won't be going back. read more

I have been going to this salon for the past year and a half to get lash extension fills. I have recommended this salon to so many of my friends and now three of my friends are regulars here. However I now regret ever letting my friends know about this salon. Although the technicians are wonderful, the front desk staff and manager are completely incompetent at their jobs. There are always two or thee people sitting at the desk, however they can never seem to schedule an appointment correctly. I've had three of my appointments messed in the last two months. Two of the appointments were made online and I was told that I shouldn't make appointments online because it's too confusing for them. Not sure what that means but I started making appointments in person. Even then they managed to mess it up again and ended up blaming me for their own mistake and refused to apologize. They scheduled me for the wrong day and scolded me for missing my appointment. I have been going in for a fill every three weeks on the same date and time and they scheduled me for two weeks. It was obviously their mistake for not being able to do simple math. They also somehow came up with a new policy, which I've never heard of my entire time of coming here, that they are only able to do lash fills at two week intervals. My friends and I have been going to this salon and getting three week fills so this made absolutely no sense. The woman at the desk was extremely rude and condescending and refused to let me make my next appointment unless it was for two weeks. I left without making an appointment and contacted my other friends that attend this salon to ask about this policy, and no one has heard of this either. I was obviously very upset after this and decided to write a complaint email explaining the situation. After a second follow up email, I have not heard back from them. They obviously do not care about their customers, even if you're loyal to them. They will lie to you, treat you like garbage, and make up weird policies, just because they don't know how to do their jobs. read more

It is very clean, they take their time-yet I've never had to wait long for my service- and my shellac manicure actually lasts for a few weeks. This place was pretty awesome. I recently moved into the area and this place is blocks from my house. I loved that I could make an appointment online - it was incredibly easy. I had Jennifer as my nail tech and it was by far the most impressive manicure I've ever had. Jennifer was meticulous and my nails were perfect. The spa was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. The selection of services was pretty impressive as well. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they charged me $5 for a Shellac polish removal in addition to my $35 Shellac manicure. I've never been to a spa that charged extra for removal - it's just been included in the cost of the manicure. read more
