The place is a very big clean looking pizzeria, the service is amateurish but polite and the food is typical pizzeria food American style. It's in my neck of the woods so I may eat there again. read more

Their pizza is below average and the staff couldn't care less about being friendly or making you feel welcome. They have a huge selection of pizza's but after trying 4 or 5 of them over the last few months and continually being disappointed I gave up. Their hot subs are actually very good but to be honest I will probably be going to the other great pizza places in the area and not returning to this one... read more

I planned my daughter's 2nd birthday at AF's party room. Unfortunately we had to cancel because our daughter got sick a day before her party but we ordered in instead. Our pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious. I also want to thank Brian for all of his help planning our party. He was so helpful and attentive with everything. I will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Worst service ever. Drove 20 minutes to get there since I enjoyed the food. Waited over 45 minutes and never got greeted, yet everyone around me, even those who came after, had their orders taken. Server clearly saw us since she looked over at us at least 4 times. Never eating here again. read more

Friendly customer service. Swiftly made and tasty food. Great service.

Used the online ordering on a Sunday for delivery around 7pm for a baked ziti pizza. It was simple to do and the pizza was here in 30 minutes. Really the baked ziti pizza is fat on starch on carbs. I wanted it to be delicious, I really did. With the pasta sauce, ricotta, and cheese, you would expect more flavor, however unfortunately this wasn't the case. Sadly, it was rather bland, overall. I needed to add Parmesan myself to this thick pizza to give it some taste, any taste, which I normally don't do. The pasta adds more volume to this pizza and the crust would have benefited from being a bit thinner. May try this place again someday, maybe, but I'm not rushing to place another order anytime soon. read more

Always, always a good or great dinner. Fresh food. Always my go to. Love this place.

I stopped in on 09-17-2018 and ordered a large pie. The atmosphere was very inviting, the staff was quite friendly. The pizza was outstanding. I will go back to try additional items. The pizza was absolutely delicious even with a 15 minute ride home. I will definitely go back! Roe H read more

We really like their specialty pies and usually order the Margherita, Grandma or Eggplant Rollatini. The pies have a normal amount of sauce, but we like the sauce and always get them with extra sauce. Today we got Margherita and it was even better than usual, not sure what changed but crust, sauce and cheese all tasted better. Also got a chicken parmigiana sandwich, both chicken and eggplant are always very good and you can ask for extra sauce on the side for the sandwiches. read more

We have been eating in at Anthony Franco's for years. The food is still decent and plentiful but the service has deteriorated considerably. If a restaurant has a dining room, shouldn't it be staffed? It's hard to get the attention of a waitress even to place an order. Once the food arrives, you can forget about ever seeing her again. Had to go up to the counter to request containers for leftovers and our bill. If you don't want to service the numerous tables in your restaurant, why not put up a sign saying takeout and counter service only? Abysmal service! read more

Worst pizza in town! Ended up throwing it out in the garbage and ordering from another pizzeria. Worst pizza to have on pizza day. - awesome service calling us after the review to resolve my complaints! read more

The lady who waited on us was nice. Just like some people said the food was hella bland and over priced. Yeah one slice of bland bake ziti pizza was $4.00! I had to add salt to it just to eat it. Unfortunately they are nothing special. If you are thinking of go here just not. Unless you are starving there other places close by you can go to. read more

Impressive in sight as you walk in. -Plenty of seating -Wide array of pizza options -Friendly Service I think their pizza is pretty good but, not great. Their food is about on par with their pizza. I was turned off by the length of time deliveries have taken but, during a visit there everything was satisfactory. Anthony Francos is a North Jersey Pizza chain and is solid. There are better options but there are definitely worse options too. read more

Nice place, very clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. However the pizza was bland and had no taste. I think they need a different sauce and better quality mozzarella. Also the wings and calamari were something that came out of a frozen bag. I would recommend making ur own batter and frying both calamari and wings. You guys need a signature food something homemade and fresh. I really wanted to make this place my go to for the family because it has a big dining area but the food has to be better. I hope management takes this into consideration. Thank you read more

Absolutely amazing food! The chicken Parm, penne alla vodka and Cesar salads are awesome! Slices are always on point, i especially love the chicken delight! They also have a party room, on which I hosted a bridal shower. Food was awesome! They made delicious sandwich platters, along with great apps and pasta dishes. Everyone was raving about the food. Great dine in and delivery experience. Manager Brian always greets you with a friendly smile, as well as all of the staff. This place overall has great customer service! As a resident of Wayne, you will always have my business! read more

I am originally from Chicago and am very particular about pizza. I make a point to try pizza from many different locations and businesses. One that stands out above the rest is the Anthony Franco's located in Wayne, NJ. The staff is always friendly and professional. I am especially pleased at the cleanliness of this location. The pizza is always tasty and delicious. Whenever I try new items from their menu such as grilled wraps, ziti pasta, or even garden salads I am always satisfied. I have also used this location for several catering events and the food is always fresh and on time. Great place to relax and enjoy a slice!!! read more

The amount of selection here earns a few stars on its own. I go here often and they have never disappointed. I'm pretty sure I have tried every specialty pizza they offer. As for the rest of the menu, everything I have tried has been great. read more

Friendly and courteous staff... Food is always cooked the way I want. Probably in my top 5 for best pizza in the Wayne area.

Anthony Franco's food in Wayne is ok. I tried everything and I was not impressed. If you want good Pizza and Sub Sandwiches go to Positano's in Wayne. If you want good Italian Pasta's Entrees, Sub Sandwiches and Salmon go to Bensi Restaurant in Wayne. read more

Overly priced and not so good. I had a slice of baked ziti & margherita. Both were very bland and no flavor. I would not recommend this place. read more

Anthony Franco's Pizza is great. My family and I love it here. The staff is very friendly and there is quick service. Definitely would recommend! read more

Pizza is okay. There is better in town. Food is good to average. They do seem to use quality ingredients which is good. My biggest problem with this place is that I have been overcharged 4 times. Twice they adjusted the amount and the last two times I didn't even bother. I'm not talking cents but a few dollars each time..( when buying a few slices)...just beware. read more

Their pizza is okay. Wish there was more sauce though. Their pasta is better. I probably won't be returning unless I am getting it delivered. Apparently, if you're staying to eat, you're just supposed to seat yourself and someone will (or should) attend to you. The last two times I've gone here, no one bothered. There were people behind the counter, who I'm assuming were cooks, occasionally look at me but never bothered to tell their wait staff they have someone waiting. I just got up and left both times after waiting 8-10 minutes. read more

Overpriced pizza for ok quality- definitely not worth what they charge though. I would recommend Vinni's or Neil's over Anthony Franco's

Ordered a large cheese. Hard to screw that up. Dough and crust were great.

Consistent quality - i.e. consistently badddd pizza. Flavorless, bland crust. We've tried it three times but won't try again. Too many better options in Wayne. read more

This place is GREAT!! I live 15 minutes away there are plenty of pizzerias near me but I ALWAYS take a drive to Franco's. The staff is friendly and the food is the best !! I recommend this place to everyone!!! for the last 3 years Franco's is the only place I'll go to for their baked ziti and Penne vodka no other place can compare... read more

Been ordering here for over a year and each time I order food gets better and better. Their specialty Pizza's are to die for. Best thing is when it snows they deliver still which today they did. Keep up the good work guys. read more

Delish and never disappoints! My family and I go here for lunch & dinner and we also use them for catering for every event! The quality of the food is superb. The portions, more than generous. I recommend the chicken dinner dishes (francese is my go to) and the buffalo chicken pizza! There is seriously not a better place for pizza and Italian in the area! read more

I have been to the Anthony Franco locations in Paramus, Ramsey, & Butler. I loved the pizza at these locations but the one in Wayne had pretty bad pizza. The crust was a bit under-cooked and the other ingredients were nothing special. This is average pizza for above average prices. Now, to be fair I haven't found a great pizzeria in Wayne; but Anthony Franco's is near the bottom. read more

You may think Anthony Franco's is just a pizza place, but it's that and so much more. They have a chef and great Italian food, that is all delicious and plentiful. The waitresses are all very good, and the warm toasted bread is so good, and you can bring your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal. They also have a wide variety of Pizza, specialty pies, calzones, stromboli's, garlic knots, etc at the counter. I have also gotten trays of food for parties, and people always ask where I got the food, as it is always delicious. The food and staff have made Anthony Franco's my families "go to" spot! You won't be disappointed! Go and enjoy Anthony Franco's read more

Finally stop in after seeing tons of people in there. Thought I would be in for a surprise but I got ordinary. Order plain slices and they were OK. Expected crust to be crispier but kind of soggy. Table and benches were dirty - had to clean my own space so I could sit. Bathroom not clean either. All in all ... Meh read more

Love this place! The food and staff are awesome! The employees are very friendly and sweet and everything we ordered was delicious! Would highly recommend Anthony Franco's and it's a BYOB too! read more

This place is the best! Their pizza is sweet and full of flavor. The Italian sub is the best anywhere. I am always greeted by name from the owner Brian. A really nice guy who knows how to get customers to return. His staff is also top notch. Highly recommended! read more

They're OK. That's really all I can say. As plenty of other reviews have stated, they don't really have that much flavor in their slices. The one thing that they have going for them is that my grandmother enjoys their pizza because it "reheats well." read more

When you think about the best cities in the US for pizza, Brooklyn, Providence and New Haven come to mind. On the other end of the spectrum, when evaluating the cities you would anticipate to have the worst in America, one would expect to see cities in Iowa, Arkansas or New Mexico headlining America's worst. Surprisingly despite the presence of many Italian-Americans in the area, Wayne, New Jersey boasts pizza so universally awful, it deserves to be considered among the worst in the country. I choose to review here because many residents point to Anthony Franco's as the best in town. This really just illustrates how bad the local pizza scene is as this pizza is truly inedible. There is so much oil from the cheese it serves as a reminder that thanks to the Williston Basin and Anthony Franco's pizza, the US is now the world's leading oil producer. This is a "6 napkin" slice, meaning you need 6 napkins to get the oil off of it. Trouble is management at Anthony Franco's has evidently decided that the best way to improve their profit margins is to ration napkins as strictly as possible (which is hard to imagine considering what they charge for their pizza and what they must pay for ingredients). The tomato sauce has a ketchup feel, but sadly more Hunt's than Heinz. They even saved a buck there. The crust is powdery and bland. When you put it all together the pizza is just plain bad, and leaves you with that regrettable "I wish I didn't eat this feeling" after you are done. Last point on the prices. They charge $40 for a half tray of baked ziti. Let me repeat $40 for a half tray of ziti. That is Rao's pricing for Ragu quality. Same story with the pizza, sticking with the oil theme, you paying for premium yet only getting 75 octane in the tank. Sadly I can't recommend another pizza in Wayne because Tony's, Neil's, etc. are no better, and perhaps even worse. Best thing to do is just head out of town if pizza is on your mind. Amazing that Wayne can't make an even edible pizza. Good news for residents is that it is very easy to stick to your diets with this place. read more
