So I didn't know that Anthony Franco's was a chain but wow, I'm glad to know that there's more so more people can enjoy this amazing pizzeria. There's a location in my town and when my church friends wanted to come here for dinner during the Honor Summit, I was thrilled. There's PLENTY of parking and seating inside. The line moves quickly and the pizza is phenomenal. I got their ranch, bacon, bbq chicken pizza and a fountain drink for $6 (which may seem pricey but the drink is unlimited and one slice of pizza is pretty big to fill me up)-which may not be much to be completely honest LOL but for me it's worth it! I definitely recommend this place, it's way bigger than the one in livingston and apparently they serve more "elegant" cuisines than just pizza too. read more

Worst experience ! I come here literally two times a week and today I decided to order delivery . Delivery driver is so rude it's horrible , I called to follow up about my pizza and I hear him in the background being so nasty and taking crap and then asks if I want to come to pick it up . It's always spot on. Great pizza, especially there grandma pie. ( try putting eggplant with ricotta or chicken cutlet). Always good sandwiches: eggplant, chicken Parm, meatball & there chs steak ( except last time not enough steak on it, it was really cheese, onion & potato. But we will give them a pass) And Awesome salads: especially they're cold antipasto and what they call their "special salad " with either grilled chicken or chicken cutlet. We always have to get it with no apples since we are allergic to apples. We used to order from the Paramus for years when we lived in Bergen County. Don't lie to your customers and say the delivery is on its way when it's not. Placed an order called an hour later and was told the order was already out for delivery. Called back 45 minutes later to cancel when I realized they blatantly lied. Just tell the customer your busy.... Don't put families dinner plans on hold. At least other pizza places in the area (and there's a lot) are honest about their delivery times and don't play with families dinner plans. read more

This is my go to pizza place in Wayne. I'm really not a pizza person but they have really great specialty pies. The Buffalo chicken is my favorite especially since it's actually spicy. I've also had anything there from the pasta to sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. Because of the atmosphere and quality of food I'd put them a notch above your average pizzeria. Another plus is that they have online ordering. I usually do this, but know that if you're getting delivery it'll probably take an hour from when you placed your order. I had stayed away for a long time after their Paramus location cursed at me for complaining that one of the named ingredients in my seafood dish was missing and after getting violently ill from the pesto at the Wayne location (several years ago). On a recent visit, one of the items was not correctly prepared and the cheesesteak sandwich was too greasy to eat. I read so many good reviews but unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. Food took longer than quoted time and they add a surcharge if you use a credit card. read more

Every time we order a salad the dressing is always missing. This last time we were told the salad dressing would be delivered in a few minutes. Waited 45 minutes and still no dressing. All the other food had been consumed. Spoke with the manager and received a refund but no acknowledgment that this is an ongoing issues. He didn't even seem to care that said I don't want to order from them anymore. I guess they have lots of other customers so they don't care. read more

My husband is Italian and a snob when it comes to marinara/gravy/sauce. He ordered a sandwich which he loved and asked to try my meal (since I got stuffed shells). For him to say the sauce was out of this world... it has to be good. I thought it was delicious, and he's a tougher critic than me. Everything was on point, fresh, and delivered very quickly. I like the location of this place. The inside is much larger than I would have expected. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the plain cheese slices as I always do at a new pizza place. The pizza came out looking great. However, one bite into it. Very blend, a few more bites later. I am not even sure if I should finish it or not. I eventually finished it but that's purely because I don't want to waste food. I think they should look into a new sauce or something. read more

This is my go-to place when I want to enjoy pizza with red wine. Their Grand ma pie is the best thing I tried so far. Has good amount of tomato sauce to compliment wine. Please don't change it. I just moved from Boston to Wayne, NJ and I have been on the search for decent pizza. Unfortunately, this is not the place. The pre-made slices are good enough to satisfy your hunger, but they won't leave you satisfied. Tonight, we ended up using a free coupon where you get a free large cheese pizza, great deal and appreciated. We decided to order that and get a couple other things, I got mozzarella sticks (worst I ever had, the cheese was hard and they were the frozen meal plan kind...never again) and my fiance got the eggplant rolatini (it wasn't bad, average at best) and then there was a free pizza. It's pretty hard to make a free pizza taste bad, but this place succeeds. There is just no flavor, flat bread, tasteless sauce, and kind of cold when we picked it up. Overall, maybe a 4 or 5 out of a score of 10. After tonight, I will probably just stick with Vinny's Pizzarama down the street for my pie cravings. read more

Awesome pizza, awesome prices. Their small pie has 8 slices. The slices are small so I feel like 3-4 slices per person would suffice. I called for pick up and they said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes, which they were. They weren't too busy this afternoon but I've been to the Verona location and it gets crazy busy there on the weekends so keep that in mind before calling for pick up or delivery! We held my daughter's bridal shower here in May. The party room was just the right size and very private. Brian couldn't be more helpful in helping me select the menu. We had a dedicated server the entire time of the party and I was actually able to enjoy time with my guests because I did t have to worry about a thing. The food was FANTASTIC! I've been told never to order seafood in NJ. Well, Anthony Franco's in Wayne proved that theory right. I ordered the fried calamari and when I spied the tire-like rings I was skeptical. I tried it anyway, and was utterly disgusted. Dry, rubbery and tasteless. Honestly- it's hard to mess up fried calamari. But AF's is most obviously frozen and I'm willing to bet it was frozen weeks ago, by the taste and texture. $10 for awful food is a waste. In the past couple of years, every party that I've hosted has been catered by Anthony Franco's. They are always consistent with the quality and quantity of the food. Their penne vodka is by far one of the best I've ever had. When I go in for a quick bite, the service is always great! Everyone who works there is very friendly and quick to accommodate anything you might need. The pizza is always fresh and their sauce is delicious! The appetizers are absolutely delicious too! I am waiting for my wife to get out of surgery and I'm sitting straight in front of the pizza place and I tried putting in an order for pick up since I'm here outside and when a woman answered from here she cut me off and put my on hold, the woman not knowing I was watching her 5 feet Infront of me put me on hold while she stood there with her arms crossed watching the men work not even 3 feet from her. I walked in 7 minutes later after seeing she wasn't going to take my order or pick the phone up at all I went in and I got my food within 1 minute. If you think paying a woman for ignoring your customers and intentionally not working its sad. My 18 year old does drain cleaning and seeing something like this is wild. She needs to at least box pizzas or when someone actually puts a order in she won't she slam the phone down and act like no one called. We had a gathering of friends here this weekend. I wasn't sure what the back room would be like, but it was perfect for us - especially the round tables which always helps conversation. The food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was very accommodating. Wayne's littered with pizzerias-It breeds pizza pies and pot holes like no other town in North Jersey. And it's got a new one that has the potential to be the new sheriff in town. You be the judge. Anthony Franco's is clean, new and the variety they have is out the wazoo. Have only had their plain and Sicilian slices, but they were pretty good. Thumbs up. Was stalking their Grandma slices today through the looking glass. Definitely next time. Their menus are pretty extensive, and the flat screen TV's up top are a nice touch. This is the best place to go in town if you want slices of pizza. Perfect for a quick and cheap lunch. My husband and I come here quite often for lunch on the weekends. My husband always gets some type of specialty slice and I usually get either a sicilian slice or garlic knots. This place has all different types of specialty slices, from chicken franchise to buffalo chicken to so many more choices. Now if you don't want slices and you want a more restaurant type experience, you can sit down in the middle area and order off the menu. A waitress will come over and take your order. They have everything an Italian restaurant would have. You can get dinners, sandwiches, calzones, etc. The owner Brian is extremely friendly. We go there quite often so he has gotten to know us pretty well. We always have a conversation with him. He always asks where we have been if its been a while since we were last there. They have a huge selection of pizza's but after trying 4 or 5 of them over the last few months and continually being disappointed I gave up. It is BYOB, which is great if you're looking to spend a little less. Speciality slices are excellent, but I recommend getting a big pie to split. It'll be worth it! In a town with no shortage of pizza places, Anthony Franco's is a bit different. What I like most about this place is the huge variety. Most other pizza places will serve you a slice of basic cheese or pepperoni pizza but for more of a specialty pizza you'd have to get an entire pie. At Anthony Franco's however there are so many options ranging from white to buffalo chicken to baked ziti pizza and beyond. Be warned however, for indecisive people like me it can seem like an impossible decision! The restaurant does lack a bit in the service area. The staff are kind of aloof and it is confusing how the restaurant works. I have been to this place multiple times and am still not sure if I sit down first or order at the counter then sit down so I usually just get take out. Watch out for the lunch rush though because high schoolers can sometimes swamp this place! read more
