If they can make something so simple so good, there's nothing else that can go wrong. I got my smoked salmon toast with poached eggs. And it was the best toast ever !!!! The eggs were cooked just right, the yolk was runny enough. The salmon tasted fresh and the little seeds that were on top had a salty taste that made the whole thing perfect. This was our 1st visit and I really liked the feature of the waitlist inside the Yelp app. We decided on this restaurant and when I looked it up, I was not sure what it meant having not seen the feature before. Love it! This allowed us to see when our seat would be ready as we were intransit. Once we arrived we were immediately seated and a crowd was starting to form. The restaurant is bright with a friendly staff. There is good amount of seating plus a beautiful patio outside for seating. The menu has a big selection of choices. We started with a half order of the biscuit beignets. How unique and I wish I had a full order. The beignets were delicious and we enjoyed the marmalade served with them. Onto breakfast and we ordered french toast, pumpkin waffles with sausage / eggs and I had the lobster and brie omelet topped with tomatoes and scallions. My family enjoyed their meals. All of the food came to the table hot and presented well. I really enjoyed my omelette. It had cream cheese inside and the lobster and other items were served on top. It was sooooo delicious. The pumpkin waffles were light and were full of flavor. My daughter enjoyed her french toast. My first time and I was not overly impressed. While the food was good, they were out of Black breakfast tea. In my opinion a breakfast restaurant should never be out of black tea. Imagine not have black coffee and only flavored?! Earl Gray or herbal teas dont do for me in the morning. I will definitely give them another try--to be fair. But three Stars is the best I can do today. Follow-up: I received a phone call from the manager apologizing for the lack in their part. I assured him I loved everything else about their restaurant. Had the crab cake eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, and sangria. Everything was really good and the sangria is strong so made for a great brunch. This location ALWAYS disappoints. Whether it's bringing out grits that's been sitting for ages, burnt meat, hard ass French toast...today I went in and got the cinnamon roll French toast. Any other location I ever go to charges me $3.99 for an additional cinnamon roll. I just love this place! I've been a quazi-regular here for years, and they never disappoint. And.... On our last visit, we found out that they have an extensive gluten free menu! Hallelujah!! Another Broken Egg Cafe is nice option for breakfast/brunch in Winter Park that isn't directly on Park Ave! I've been here twice recently and ended up getting the same meal both times. It is the Monterey chicken omelet. I love it! Note that I sub regular eggs for egg whites. Also, I figured out that I prefer it with the sauce on the side because the second time I got it it was too saucey. The fruit that comes with the meal is a step up from most places with berries, pineapple, and watermelon. A little secret... Get a half order of the biscuit beignets. The Banana pancake as you can see looks bad and tasted worse. The seasoned potatoes were just bland potatoes with no seasoning. Cinnamon roll French toast was not good. The only saving grace were the grits I took home and doctored with some butter. I never got a picture of my brothers food because he took a bite of the omelet, stated"You gotta be kidding me" and tossed it in the trash. Kudos to Jovan, an awesome water, efficient with his time. My eggs benedict were perfection: juicy ham, eggs done just right, the sauce was not too overwhelming or watery. I had city grits on the side: great compliment to the eggs benedict. I'd love to point out that orange mimosa that was served was well-balanced and chilled to add a twist of a happy mood on a rainy Sunday morning. My boyfriend's benedict brisket (seasonal dish) was a very tasty surprize: tender meat, creamy sauce, and the waffle with a twist: jalapeno slices inside. First off. Love the wait list.. What a way to begin. Abe Famous Infused Bloody Mary.. The cocktail was garnished with celery, bacon, okra, carrot and a lime. The cocktail presentation was a work of art. The bacon was out of this freaking world. I could have eaten a half pound of bacon. Next on the the Beignet's. They were served with fresh orange marmalade. And covered with powder sugar. The absolute best beignet's I have every had. NOLA could take a few lessons. They were absolutely outstanding. On vacation and looking forward to a brunch in a local cafe. As a Member if the Yelp community we used Yelp to guide us as to where to eat. We found this restaurant on Yelp and we were really excite d to see that they had a option to join the wait list. We put our name on the waitlist and grabbed a seat on the patio to await our table. We started brunch with cocktails Black cherry mimosa, Blood orange bourbon sour and then Abe Famous infused Bloody Mary all of the cocktails were outstanding Then we moved on to Beignets with Orange marmalade they make on site. The beignets were covered with powdered sugar and the were warm and moist, the marmalade was the perfect finishing touch. So much for the diet. I ordered chicken and waffles. It came with Chipotle Honey but I chose to eat them with the Orange Marmalade which might just be my favorite way to eat chicken tenders now.. My friend order the Gluten Free Mixed Berry pancake and said it was wonderful. Which I am told is not often the case with anything gluten free. She also ordered fresh fruit and bacon. The bacon was perfect and flavorful and crisp. All and all the service was top notch and the servings were large. None of the meals we ordered got completely eaten. My family and I specifically look for this small restaurant chain when we visit Florida on vacation. The main reason why we come to Another Broken Egg Cafe is for their gluten-friendly breakfast options such as their pancakes. My wife has a gluten allergy and this restaurant has some awesome selections. The service is also spectacular and our server Sydney was so awesome! She was able to take our party of 8 special orders perfectly! She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! The food was delicious and the coffee was a nice dark roast which was really good. We love this place and highly recommend it! The only thing we noticed that was a bit annoying was how loud the restaurant is when it's full with people. The acoustics are challenging because of the hard floor and open room seating. Restaurant is a little noisy due to the tile floors and there are few children that were a little louder than normal but definitely allowed. Outmisphere service was superb and everything came out. Piping hot had the blueberry pancakes with goat cheese. First of all, it's an unusual topping, but they were superb and I probably could have eaten the pancakes alone. They had the most wonderful flavor for a pancake I've ever tasted. The goat cheese and blueberries are great combination. Whoever thought of it was a genius. A handmade patty sausage has a excellent flavor, more mapely and sage than hot and spicy, so I really enjoyed it. Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese. Just perfect fluffy and no brown edges. My friends and I went on 12/17 and we had an amazing experience. We all loved our food- but having Bracus as our waiter was quite an experience! I have never had a waiter like him. I can't tell you how difficult it is to pass on breakfast goods like waffles or pancakes at most restaurants because of my sensitivity to gluten. Today I got to order pancakes and.... Every time I drive to Winter Park I try and eat at Another Broken Egg. Most of the time it's an hour wait or longer. Luckily on this visit to Winter Park there wasn't a wait so I jumped on the opportunity. The first thing that stood out when I walked in was the Bar area. When I sat down and I perused the menu I saw that they had spiked coffee and Bloody Mary's for breakfast. I wanted to try the splined coffee but I thought that it was a little to early for liquor. I decided on the Crab Cake Benedict this would be my first time eating a poached egg. The food presentation was top notch. I cut into the poached egg with a little apprehension but to my surprise it was awesome.
