I hadn't been a this cafe in years, so I was excited to give it a fresh try. They just released the fall seasonal menu which had a fun variety of options. Upon entering, we were promptly seated which was nice. It took a while for us to get a server, which we had to request as one was not assigned to our table. The server we ended up getting was very kind and accommodating. Once that was all settled, we were able to order and food came out fairly quickly. I tried the shrimp and crawfish omelette with the beignets. My meal was phenomenal! The tomato hollandaise on the omelette was exquisite and the beignets were perfection! Sadly, my friend ordered a seasonal mocktail and the pecan waffle, but did not enjoy either. I tried a piece of the waffle and agreed that it was a bit hard and dry (the flavor was good though). The place was pretty busy and the atmosphere was very chill. There were a lot of families present which was nice to see. This experience wasn't our best, but overall I would be open to trying again! read more

Another successful & delicious visit to Another Broken Egg Café. As per usual my husband ordered and enjoyed the chicken and waffles. He stated, "I don't know where they get there chicken from, it's good chicken." I ordered the new menu item Harvest Hash with 2 medium well egg and coffee. The coffee is piping hot, just like a like it. I love a good hash. This one has brussel sprouts, spinach & roasted onions. I asked them to omit the goat cheese. The biscuit beignets are yummy. The crispy edges are a delight. Another Broken Egg Café has plenty of seating inside. It has a full bar that connects the inside with the covered outside seating. My hubby and I have dined here many times, breakfast only; however, yesterday my breakfast was horrible! I ordered a Butternut Squash and something Frittata. It was so flat, dry, barely any squash and among other stuff, over done Brussel sprouts! My cheesy grits was the consistency of paste, Ugh! Honestly, they should have someone overseeing the food before it leaves the kitchen! My husband's breakfast was delicious, lucky him. I did let them know about my breakfast. Our host and server were both very professional. Our server explained the different menus to us which was helpful. I had the pistachio chocolate matcha as a drink. It was tasty but the flavor of chocolate overpowered the matcha. Arrived shortly before 9 am. Waited approximately 5-6 minutes to be acknowledged. 2 servers sat by the bar and looked at me several times finally went to find someone to seat me. When my 2 friends arrived we received our drinks and were ready to order. We asked if we could just get a waffle didn't want the whole breakfast, our waitress then informed us it was only her 3rd day. So, she asked someone and they said yes we could. But, our one friend wanted 1/2 order of French toast which she has always been able to get she said no to that without checking. When our food arrived everything was cold. Everyone seemed new. When our bills arrived the 2 of us that had the seasonal waffle were charged over $14. The whole breakfast was $17 (included eggs and sausage). this was some time ago now but I remember the experience over all was underwhelming. The wait was short but the food took a long time to come out. The food felt underwhelmingly bland. Even the bacon felt... meh. For the price one would expect something more. Our waiter seemed to forgot about us the moment the food was dropped off until we asked for the check. All in all as far as breakfast places go I have no interest in coming back. Nothing directly wrong with the food but mostly just an underwhelming experience for the price. This is my first time at this location. The moment I walked in I was immediately greeted and welcomed. I ordered hot tea with lemon snd raspberry white chocolate pancakes. It came with eggs and bacon. I should mention that the bacon cooked to perfection. Pancakes are delicious too. My server provided an excellent service for me. Went to have breakfast at this location. I was greeted promptly and very courteous hostess. It is a cute little cafe serving breakfast, brunch and lunch. My waiter was training a new waiter. Service was fair but not stellar for having 2 people.... I was given a courtesy order of Biscuit Beignets which were delicious. Main dish was the Crab Cake Benedict. It was good and an unusual combination which I enjoyed. The hollandaise congealed a little quickly, so i am guessing it was packaged and not made in house. My side of bacon was very well done and almost hard...it tasted like it was a day old and reheated. Before leaving, I used the restroom and it was grungy...it looked like it had not been cleaned for a while....it was not encouraging and I questioned what condition the kitchen might be in since they neglected the bathrooms so bad. Came here for breakfast on a weekday. It appeared that perhaps they were understaffed. It took a bit of time to be sat despite it not being very busy. The server was very friendly. This was my first time and it did not disappoint. From the moment my daughter and I arrived we were greeted immediately by a very pleasant hostess. The ambiance was light, clean and very cozy. There was also very cute outdoor covered seating. The menu has a vast variety of offers from breakfast/brunch to lunch combos, cocktails and mocktails. There's literally something for everyone. I ended up getting the Apple Fritter French Toast with potatoes and bacon on the side. It was delectable and I ate every bite! I also ordered the Blueberry Smash Mocktail, which was excellent! My daughter enjoyed the Sonoma Sandwich. It was a very kind gesture for them to bring out an order of their delicious biscuit beignets since it was our first time there! Our waiter was a very attentive and friendly gentleman. I don't remember his name, but he took very good care of us. Negative 5 stars I honestly don't know how Another Broken Egg Cafe is still open. I used to be a regular here years ago, before new management came in and let go of the entire staff. That alone changed everything, and after today, it's clear nothing has improved--in fact, it's worse. I decided to give it another shot this morning and sat at the bar. I was handed a menu, ordered a water and a green tea... and then was completely ignored. No follow-up, no check-in, no food order taken--nothing. I sat there for about 20 minutes watching staff walk by like I didn't exist. Total waste of time. What makes it even more frustrating is that I regularly go to Another Broken Egg Cafe, and the difference is night and day. The Winter Park location has consistently amazing service, great food, and an attentive staff that actually seems to care. This Oviedo location feels like the exact opposite--disorganized, inattentive, and honestly just indifferent. If you're looking to sit around and be ignored, this is your place. Always a delicious meal and super friendly service here. It's routinely a fairly slow service but the servers are quite busy and work very hard so it's never a bother. Visited on Mother's Day 2026. There was a lot of sitting around waiting. It seemed like the kitchen was unable to keep up with demand. And, because the kitchen couldn't keep up, clearing the tables was not a priority. I had the Bourbon Pancakes which were delicious. Unlike the pancakes, the sausage patties were horrendous. We walked in and stood at the front. one of the girls at the back saw us, did not greet us or say someone will be right with you or anything. The place is pretty loud. The waiter had a hard time hearing us. The service was okay. Food took about 35 min for one shrimp and grits. Wrap and two sandwiches. Waiter had to be asked for refills. Even when he brought the food out. All the drinks were empty and we had to ask for refills after h dropped the food off and left. It is a mediocre food place. If you have more than 3/4 in your party avoid this place they go out of their way to make sure large parties were not seated left large table dirty for over an hour and a half to three tables that could have had two pushed together to accommodate party of 7 to putting a party of three in the middle table. However, I had just come from a doctors appointment and had many tubes of blood being taken, so we decided to stop in here. I didn't know if it was going to be busy or not so I joined the waitlist online. It was surprisingly not Busy when we went in. Our waitress was very sweet, I think her name was Natalia, and she brought our food out as quickly as she could. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes with goat cheese, I was hoping that the goat cheese was going to be whipped but I was incorrect. It was just placed in between the pancakes and scattered on the plate. That was a little disappointing to me. The pancakes were also very heavy and I tasted a little bit of the batter. I also ordered an omelette and it wasn't that appetizing. Maybe I just chose poorly today. The coffee was delicious and it was a decaf. They have yummy potatoes which are just fried little potatoes but they are tasty. My husband got the bourbon pancakes which I thought tasted a lot like bourbon, if you like that kind of thing. He enjoyed his meal thoroughly. I will definitely be back to try more stuff! I just took a star off because the service was a little slow and I needed my condiments so that I could eat my meal which, made everything cold. This was my first time coming here since my friend has been raving about it. But I was disappointed with my first experience here. The service here was quite slow and the wait was long when I visited with a friend. We went on a Saturday for brunch so I understand the wait but it was about an hour long. The food I ordered was ok but by the time it got to my table it was cold. Some of my food also was overcooked so I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I would have liked. For what I got I think there are better places that have more options for better pricing. I am hoping I have a better experience the next time I visit since I want to give it a second try. read more

I've been to each of the ABECs and I doubt I'll ever return. Frankly, I feel these restaurants are serving little more than over-priced, mediocre (bordering on bad) food. My nephew and I had breakfast today at the Oviedo location and neither the Strawberry Poundcake nor the Lemon Blueberry with Goat Cheese Pancakes inspired us to bother with takeaway containers for what was left. My bacon was burned and the scrambled eggs were awful. I ordered the cinnamon French toast, crab cake Benedict w/ city grits, and the kid's waffle sampler. The food arrived fresh and it was packaged great! The crab cake Benedict was perfectly made and tasty! My husband loved his cinnamon French toast he ate all of it. I wanted to talk to a manager from the minute we walked in, but it was clear that the manager was oblivious to running this restaurant because there was something wrong with EVERYTHING. We were greeted at the door by a host who looked like personal hygiene was something he never heard of... His hair was greasy, he was sweating all over.. But that's not the worst! He has an active case of scabies. He was constantly itching his arms with red tell-tale scabies sores all over! Absolutely disgusting! He a walking contagious health code violation! Then we sat down to order, and noticed the waiter and others all wearing black nitrile gloves. NEVER ONCE DID WE SEE A SINGLE EMPLOYEE CHANGE THESE GLOVES! Clearly no one at this place understands this is a health code violation. Keeping gloves on and touching everything means these people have moist hands and never Wash them. GROSS. To keep the colossal disaster going, our food took over 30 minutes to come out (we ordered all breakfast items) and everything was cold. To finally seal the deal of this dumpster fire masquerading as a restaraunt, we get the check. Due to the myriad of unacceptable issues, we were in a hurry to pay and get the hell out of there! But, the qr code for paying on the receipt didn't work. Finally the waiter returns 10 minutes later and says "oh yeah that online pay doesn't work".. So why the hell is it on the receipt?
