This "used to be" The Casselberry Breakfast Club...6 months ago. Yet, the menu still has The Casselberry Breakfast Club on it, but "JP's Eatery" greets you on the signs out front. Asked our waitress when it changed to JP's, and she hurriedly said "6 months ago." So, it is the menu is the same. I have no idea who this alleged "JP" is and what the deal is with the menu. Anyway... we walked in and were told to pick a table ... so we did. Then we sat and waited and watched everyone on the waitstaff look at us from the kitchen door and behind the "bar" until someone approached us and offered to clean our table and take our order after at least 5 minutes of waiting and waiting. The food was good and very reasonably priced

Love this place. This used to be the Breakfast Club of Casselberry. The waitress said they bought the space just a few months back and opened JP's Eatery. It looks like they cleaned up and updated a bit inside but the menu appears to be identical to the previous spot. We used to come here all the time but they were due for some sprucing up. I'm happy to see the new owners have done so whilst keeping up with the brunch offerings. The service was great and so was the food. They upped the prices a tad but I think it's reasonable given the portions. This will likely be one of my new favorite diners in the area for a good quick meal with the family.

Inexpensive simple food. If you want a fancy coffee, this is not for you. If you want hearty food with friendly staff, this is the place.

Johnny's is a classic, somewhat nostalgic for me, diner experience, the servers were attentive and the coffee was nice and strong but smooth. This reminds me a lot of the Greek diners I went to all the time while growing up in Western New York. Our food came out fast, and everything was good. I got the biscuits and gravy and hash browns. the biscuits and gravy was comforting and the hash browns were actually my favorite thing, they were nice and crispy. My husband got the Greek omelette and hash browns and was happy with his meal as well. As mentioned before the staff was attentive and very nice. Coffee and drinks were being refilled before you noticed you needed it. I think they handle the weekend crowd very well. By the time we were leaving there were people waiting for tables, but it was a very large party so that's to be expected. Just be prepared for that if you come at peak hours. The restaurant itself was homey and gave that classic diner feel. Everything was lived-in, in a cozy way, but clean. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were just right. I would recommend Johnny's diner and will come again.

Picked a booth among a half dozen open booths, and a very pleasant gal took our order And then we sat. And sat. And sat. And sat. Odd that a half-empty after-lunch-rush place took so long to be served a simple breakfast plate of eggs and bacon and a BLT and sausage gravy & biscuit. Everything was good, especially the sausage gravy & biscuit. One of the best we've found in quite awhile. Would we go back? Yes, and leave plenty of extra time for the slow delivery of your order. It was freshly prepared. And tasty. But it took a lot longer than we're used to. Good eats, but be ready to wait a long time to get your food.

They have specials on Monday and Thursday which sounded yummy and at good value. We got classic breakfast fare and pretty much everything was amazing. The only thing that did not WOW us was the biscuit, a little dry and dense but still okay. I would highly recommend the sausage links. They were good quality, juicy, and crispy. The pancakes and French toast were also delicious. They are not crispy but very buttery, soft, flavorful. So if you like that kind of pancake/french toast, this place is your jam. Will definitely be coming back again. We were pleasantly surprised about the prices and the service was amazing too. Jen was our server.

If you grew up in Longwood, you know the Country Kitchen. FULL DISCLOSURE- This is my family's restaurant - my parents became the owners over 15 years ago. Since buying it they moved the restaurant from its free standing location to the plaza behind it. The ambiance/vibe is as it's always been...COUNTRY!! Chickens! Cows! Funny signs, and even pictures of the regulars. It's first come/first serve, with plenty of tables and even a bar top if you like that. Our youngest son got a chocolate chip pancake with sausage and hash browns. Our older son and my wife got the same thing...Country Boy Meal...one egg, bacon/sausage, French toast/Pancake, plus a side of hash browns. They all LOVE hash browns! I got BLT on rye bread with home fries! The food was really good, not anything fancy, it's a home cooked meal. You should be full from your meal and might have some leftovers. If you're in the Longwood area, Country Kitchen is a great spot.

On my first visit, I ordered the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes with link sausages and a glass of orange juice. The pancakes were delicious, the sausages hit the spot, and the orange juice was... well, you know... orange juice. It did its job! The atmosphere reminded me of a classic country diner--cozy, welcoming, and filled with an older crowd, which I honestly prefer. One thing I really appreciated was being able to seat myself. That's always a plus in my book. Sometimes being escorted to a table means ending up in that one awkward corner nobody wants... but I digress. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily come back. My significant other, however, wasn't nearly as impressed. Oh well--you win some, you lose some! Sometimes breakfast is just a pancake split decision.

Diners are a…read morecompletely American thing that started in America as a mobile eatery and has transformed into what it is now, which are stationary eateries that feature affordable, filling food that appeals to the blue collar man. Fun fact, diners were started in New England region of America in the 1850s. All this to say, I love a good diner. I mean the American diner has always been there for middle America. The closest one to me and honestly it's definitely hidden away is the Maitland Breakfast Club. It's pretty much situated on the boundary line of where the City of Altamonte Springs starts. They have large space that's casual and what you would expect for a diner. Anyone can walk in wearing their Sunday best to pajamas. The waitresses are very welcoming and exactly the kind of person I would expect to invite me into a diner. We had gone on a Saturday afternoon and they're not a diner that's open late, so more of a breakfast diner really. Now I got the eggs Benedict with bacon and hash browns. For me, there are three breakfast staples I believe all amazing must revisit breakfast places should have. A good cup of warm regular coffee, eggs Benedict, and good crispy hash browns. I mean some places have other things like lattes and hash brown bowls, and I'm not saying those aren't good. However, when you nail the basics, you can do anything else. The hollandaise sauce was great and didn't split and bacon was crispy. The hash browns were super crispy, which I loved, and I could tell it had been made on a flat top grill, which is another very classic American restaurant kitchen appliance. The cup of coffee was good, I mean they had the sugar packets and the creamers right there. Overall, I would rate it a 9/10 and it set us back about $15 for just my portion. I will be back (said menacingly), Maitland Breakfast Club.
