Bagels are good, coffee decent and menu limited. The service/ help was friendly, although they could be trained better.

My favorite bagels are Einstein. Unfortunately, this is the closest one to where we live and it's not very close. Then again, maybe it's a good thing because I'd probably be eating bagels every day and that's A LOT of carbs! LOL This was our first time here. I placed a mobile order and went inside to pick it up. Nice, large restaurant. Area with plug-ins for laptops for anyone wanting to work remotely. Ordered a chocolate bagel, a blueberry bagel, a blueberry muffin, a chocolate chip cookie, and a doggie bagel for my service pupster. First, I have to say my pup LOVED the doggie bagel. Another reason I probably shouldn't live so close b/c I spoil the heck outta my dog and I'd be here getting him bagels every day too. LOL The bagels were excellent, as I always expect from any Einstein Bros. The blueberry muffin was ok, but honestly I've had better. It has been probably 5 years since I've ordered a muffin from this chain, so it's possible they changed them, but it was not as good as what I remembered. I didn't try the chocolate chip cookie, but hubby claimed he loved it. The reason for the 4 stars is because the cleanliness could have been better. We got there around 10am, which was just after the breakfast rush. There was only one other customer in the restaurant when we got there and the employees were all behind the counter. I feel like perhaps someone should have been wiping the crumbs, etc. from all the tables. The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms, but when they are not busy, it shouldn't be a problem to find a clean table. The employees were friendly and smiling. No complaints there at all. Make sure to check your bag when you leave. They had forgotten to put the chocolate chip cookie in. As this was our only visit here, I can't say if this is something that regularly happens or not. But again, they were not busy - it shouldn't have been missed. It's all good though; mistakes do happen. read more

I had been wanting to try the maple house egg sandwich for a while and let me say it did not disappoint . Unfortunately I had to drive 30 minutes to get it but was it worth it absolutely . So it comes on a maple bagel with syrup which I opted to do light on the syrup . I decided to take out the meat and add egg, cheese and the honey almond smear. It was both savory and sweet. I only ate half at the restaurant and ate the rest the next day. I will put more maple syrup the next time I order the sandwich . The servers were nice . I also got a passion fruit drink but it wasn't my favorite because I don't like orange juice . But that's my fault . The ambiance was clean, nice and inviting . I would come back . I've driven by this spot for over a year and finally placed an order so I could stop by and pick it up. Online time predicted 15-20 mins before it would be ready but I'm happy to say it was done well before that. Online allowed me to request pick up in drive through but it seems that maybe they stopped servicing the drive through and instead used that for curbside? It's my first time at this location so not sure if it's the norm. There's a special where you can get a bagel and beverage for $8 so I went with that. The bagel was what you'd expect from an Einstein's. I opted to spend an extra $2 to try their cold brew. When I arrived the parking lot was relatively empty and I thought I maybe made a mistake. I went inside to pick up the order when I saw the drive thru was out. The employee was kind, she let me know they didn't have any ice for my cold brew before pouring to ensure I'd be okay with that and added some pumps of vanilla and splash of cream to help it out. Don't bother pre-placing an order for a set pick up time because they don't care. Placed an order for 2 dozen bagels with cream cheese the night before and scheduled a pick up time. Arrived to pick them up and they said they were still waiting on bagels. 20 minutes later and I am fuming. They all have an I don't care attitude as well. I guess my catered meeting will be late! It was time for a second breakfast, this time I went with the turkey sausage and cheddar on a six cheese bagel ($7) and did the additional $4 which added on a twice baked hash brown with a 12 ounce orange juice. The bagel combo was good, the dough was tender to bite into, and the meat and egg were tasty. The orange juice was delicious and thirst quenching. The twice baked hash brown was squishy and had bits of cheese mixed into it, making it tasty. I don't stop in a lot but have enjoyed the times I've gone here. read more

For a place that specializes in bagels. It's disgusting. My bagel was like biting into a rubber tire and I asked them to toast it too. They smother it in cream cheese which is an extra $2 just for cream cheese so you spend $5 for the worst bagel you will ever eat. I've been to many many coffee shops that just have bagels as a side thing and they are amazing. I can't believe people eat here honestly. And they didn't even give me napkins. Time for an updated review. Still 3 stars. Some things have changed; some things remain the same. Egg sandwiches and bagels and shmear are still the stars here. The All-Nighter, Texas Brisket and Bagelrito are a few of the new sandwiches that are meant for those looking for a high caloric meal, in my opinion. My favorite egg sandwich remains the Santa Fe with egg whites (free range. Poured from a carton into the egg cooking machines), w turkey sausage, jalapeño salsa shmear,and cheddar cheese. They've added bakery items like the Chocolate Birthday Cake Party bagel and Churro Party bagel. Service here remains steady, friendly and helpful. What's changed? Fewer menu items and no more sides to go with the sandwiches, as an option. They still have coffee but it's a huge step backwards from Caribou Coffee. If I had updated this review sooner when Caribou was still being served, a four star review would have been on point. Indoor seating has been opened up again however i do not usually see many people eating inside. A couple metal tables are set up outside. All in all, Einstein's still serves up solid bagels and a real nice assortment of shmear. It's their "bread and butter," These, the egg sandwiches, and the reward program are a few of the reasons I keep returning. read more

Sadly I didn't take a picture of the garden avocado I got, but 10/10 I would recommend to try if you haven't. I added turkey to my garden avocado and it was so delicious! Almost the whole staff is very rude and unprofessional. I ordered a farmhouse sandwich on an everything bagel with no cheese (I do not like melted cheese and I don't like the cheesy bread it comes on) through the drive through. They managed to get my order wrong and gave me a sandwich with the bread I don't like. I brought my sandwich back to get my sandwich corrected with the bagel. While 2 employees were nice, the rest of them (3) were very rude and seemed insulted that I brought my sandwich back. They correct my sandwich, but burnt my bagel and still gave it to me. I noticed when I was outside checking my sandwich. I go back inside and ask them to make it again because it's burnt. The woman making my sandwich was rude again and remade it. Einstein always has a solid breakfast sandwich. The bagels are nice and soft and flavorful however they have gotten THIN. The bottom part is barely visible. They don't have the same selection as in the past but still a solid meal. read more

Popped in about 10 minutes before they closed today. Only other customers were finishing up their meals and leaving. After I consider the menu, I placed my order. As I sat for what seemed like 15 minutes my name was never called so I went up to the counter to check on my order. Again... there were no other customers in the place. The nice young man informs me that it hadn't been started. I sigh and return to my seat only for him to let me know a minute later that they had already put everything away. I let him know I'll just take a refund. I get it... only to get to my vehicle and realize that I was shortchanged on the refund. I head back in really irritated at this point. They handed me cash for the difference as they couldn't be bothered with refunding my card correctly. The crew was obviously more concerned with getting the place closed and leaving for the day than servicing their customer properly. Can't even review on the food yet as I waited over 30 minutes for an online order while watching over a dozen walk in orders come and go with their food. Staff is rude... Ignoring customers, slamming food on the counter. I finally got tired of waiting for my food at the pickup area only to five it hard been sitting by the register for at least 10 minutes. I've been a member of the rewards club for years but for some reason I always forget about this place. I dont't know why, because their bagels are delightful. When I was a kid, I grew up in NY, and my dad got us bagels every Sunday. There's nothing quite like a NY bagel, but Einstein's are better than a lot of the chains around here. And if you join their club, you can get some really great deals like 6 bagels and a tub of cream cheese for only $7! The Asiago bagels are by far my favorite with sesame a close second. The onion were ok, and I do NOT like the everything bagels here because they add caraway seeds. I am not a fan of caraway seeds, at all. Typical everything bagel seasoning does not have them so I don't know if they're trying to be different or what, but no thanks. There are a large variety of beverages here as well, and they have a pretty extensive menu of other food items. We've all been by here a million times...but today I had a hankering for a Cranberry bagel with schmear - I stopped calling it "cream cheese" in the 90s. At the corner of 17/92 and SR 436 you can find MANY shops; but there's only one Einstein. This bright, clean and friendly shop is the perfect place to stop and grab a bagel, baked good or beverage before hitting the road. While I still miss the sun-dried tomato bagel they used to offer, I remain content with their current selection. Someday I am going to have to try lox; someday - not today. There is a huge counter available to patrons to refill their coffee or soda and the staff move QUICKLY. My belly is full and now I am ready to run my errands. ROACHES and long wait! My husband grabbed an orange juice from the drink area and we saw a very large dead cockroach. Told the person working there, they said there was no way they were picking that large of roach up so they left it. It wasn't until other customers behind us started talking very loudly about it that someone working removed it. No apologies or any action taken to clean the drink area. I was hesitant to order after that but decided to. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for toasted bagels. When we got our bagels there was hardly any cream cheese on them. Let me first say, so excited to find out they had a drive-thru! Went by for breakfast this morning. Since going thru the drive thru, I was not able to see all the details in some of the sandwiches, but the staff on the microphone were friendly and willing to answer my questions. I decided to go with the farmhouse sandwich with hashbrown bagel, ham, bacon, egg, and a country style shmear...Overall not bad. I was surprised how well it tasted. It was not over done, not greasy, overall tasty :) Here's a tip, sign up for their club and they will send you a BOGO offer. I suppose it is because it is a Monday and they do the dozen of bagels for cheap but the drive through today was just agonizingly slow. Most people don't even order coffee here (trust me the coffee is the last reason to come here) yet it took well over 15 minutes to get through the drive through. I know cause I told my girlfriend who wanted the bagel it may be a long wait right as I got in line and seeing when I sent it after I left it was around 17 mins. Probably had 6 cars ahead of me. If I was working today I would have had to bail out of the line and just forget the order altogether. Most people don't account for a 15 min wait in a drive through before their commute. If it's related to the dozen of bagels they need to establish a system of parking people and bringing it out. Clogs the whole line if that's the case. Overall less and less wanting to come to this place, this is the 3rd long wait. I use to love this spot. Done giving it chances. Yeah the bagels are better than Starbucks but time is more important to me. A drive through is meant to be quick for a reason, at least with Starbucks I can do a pickup order and be in and out. The past few times I've come here, it wasn't even 2pm yet (Covid hours anyways) and they were already closed and then told me at 1:54pm that they couldn't serve me because they had no way to take payment when the place is still open. What?? So they gave me a free one after I pitched a fit. Today, I came in the morning and they gave me an everything bagel with no seeds on it. Huh?? When I drove back,,there were no apologies and instead they made me feel like it was my fault and I had somehow inconvenienced them! We just had an amazing experience today at the Casselberry Einstein! The lobby was closed so we went through the drive thru with a huge order! The person taking our order was so patient while we ordered. Our order was perfect! We decided to eat at the outside tables and the manager came out and brought us a coffee cake and apologized for not having the lobby open for us. We come here fairly regularly and every time the team members are always great. Very customer focused! Thank you!!! read more

If it wasn't for the food and for the service of the lady who originally took my order, I would have given this place 1 star. This was my very first visit to any Einstein Bagels, but the manager left a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, I understand you are busy, and yes, I understand you mean well, but my order was messed up. I had ordered a medium caramel macchiato, but they gave me a small instead. I asked her to make me another drink, but the manager told me to come back tomorrow and she'd give me a free drink to make up the difference. (And the way she said that, she sounded like she was rushing me out the door. Lol.) I wasn't planning on coming back in after the way she said that. I wanted my money's worth at that moment, so I suggested she just refund me the difference. Good thing she did, or it would have been 1 star! =) Now for the good points. I love lox and I was so pleased to see Einstein had them. We just moved from an area where there wasn't an Einstein, so I was happy to do a Google search, have them pop up, quickly peruse the menu and see they did in fact have them. I don't like when a place pulls up on Google for something I am looking for, to find out they really don't have it. The location was convenient, as well, to other errands I was running. The lox were fresh and delicious, the onion was fresh and crispy and the bagel was so fresh with a crispy Asiago outside and chewy soft center. Great staff, service and food. Dining room NOT OPEN for any seating despite Florida / Seminole county "allowing" 50% occupancy with spacing which this location can easily do. The cashier pointed me to the outside seating... which is soaking wet from yesterday's rain! You'd think they'd wipe it down for their morning customers. read more
