Jam filled - look at the rise of this donut! It has plenty of filling to match, and warm donut excellence

You DO deserve a DONUT or 6, perhaps 12! And a handcrafted hot drink or a bagel and perhaps a key lime pie, or other delicate delicious desert to go. Friendly attentive service and ambience. Excellent value and warm fresh goodness. You thought Publix bakery make good donuts for a good price? You need to try these. Warning - big fresh warm and delicious.

So I left to shop local and I decided to try this place because I passed by it on a regular basis and I love donuts who doesn't. The donut was really dough and the toppings are added on after it's baked which is kind of weird not to say that the donut tasted weird it was fine it just wasn't extraordinary. Nothing to write home about. Maybe I got the wrong flavor, but chocolate raspberry sounds like a really good combination Sadly not enough raspberry a ton of chocolate chips if that's what you're craving but mostly it's just a topping on very fluffy dough. I can't say that I'll be craving these donuts anytime soon. The space is cute. If you want to go in and sit down everything is fresh which is fine the girl taking my order seem to have a cold and probably should've stayed home because as she was applying the toppings to my donuts, I was secretly cringing perhaps that's management This place is usually closed when I pass by in the afternoon so if you want to donut in the morning and it's on the way or you need a quiet place that isn't Starbucks I can see this as a good option for some people it's just not for me.

Place is Great!! Awesome sandwiches and donuts. Staff was very nice. It's definitely a cozy hidden gem in Oviedo.

I'm not a donut-gal, but there's something about this place that bring back memories from when I was a kid. I'm not talking about the fancy toppings ones, but the cinnamon sugar circle one. These tastes like the ones I used to get at my local ma & pa shop down the street after elementary school on Guam. This place is very comforting and tastes like a true, home-made donut!

I pre-ordered their Halloween donuts as my friend highly recommended them. So I drove 40 minutes one way to try them for myself. The place is nice. I loved that donuts are made to order and not just sitting on the shelf all day. The donuts are super cute! My son loved them. I tried a bite of each donut. I loved the chocolate frosted sprinkle and the jelly filled one. The iced latte needed sugar.

Vegan apple fritter and vegan chocolate glazed donut with peanut butter drizzle and peanuts

So I was randomly craving donuts and the one closest to me is closed on Tuesday so I decided to find somewhere else and this place popped up! Oh boy was I happy it did! I got a vegan apple fritter....the best thing ever, probably even better then the non vegan ones from what I remember lol I also got a chocolate glazed donut with peanut butter drizzled and peanuts....it totally my own fault but I thought I was getting a chocolate donut and not a glazed. They also dipped the whole donut into the chocolate instead of just glazing it, the chocolate is nice but very over powering, which to me is weird since I feel peanut butter is kinda strong flavor. I definitely want to try different combos so I can find my obsession :) Oh and the donut was nice and fluffy....most vegan donuts tend to be heavy but not these :D

This donut shop is a hidden gem. I'm not a big fan of donuts, but I was told they had amazing breakfast sandwiches. I was so glad I came. My eggs, ham and cheese on a New York three cheese bagel was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the sausage, egg and cheese on a New York three cheese bagel and he fell in love. We Customize a Boston cream doughnut Toped with salted caramel. It was a donut from heaven.. The only thing that I was unhappy with was the cappuccino. I must say the caramel latte was divine. I would definitely be coming back here again.

first of all, i appreciate that they have vegan donuts! not everywhere has options, but i was happy to see the plethora of vegan options. when i came to get my donuts, it was closer to closing time so they were just about sold out. because of that, i only was able to score one vegan donut (which was soft and fluffy!); however, i got two vegan apple fritters that were DELICIOUS. i wish i had come sooner to check out a few more donuts. i'd definitely recommend checking this place, and especially the apple fritters!

They make the donuts to order which I found neat. The donuts were super fluffy and soft, I got a bunch of their specialty donuts to try and the salted caramel was so good. The girl taking the order was nice and quick with bringing me my donuts. It's a cute place with tables inside so you can always eat there if you'd like ! I'd go back.

The coffee shop is inviting with a lot of tables, whimsical decor charging ports at tables and kid-friendly activities including board games, cards and books. At the counter, there is a pastry case with fresh baked goods. My only note is that they don't display the names of the pastries or what's in them. For drinks, they have coffee, refreshers and matcha. All of which can be customized. I ordered an iced latte with 2% milk and it was very smooth. They also have build-your-own breakfast and lunch sandwiches with your choice of bread. I ordered a croissant with eggs, avocado and cheese. The croissant was warm, flaky and buttery. The eggs were perfectly creamy and the sandwich wasn't overly salty. I could tell everything was made fresh and it was delicious. It was also very reasonable. For a coffee and the sandwich, which was pretty big, it was only $13. My friend and I ordered everything to go but the sandwiches took a little while. We ended up sitting at a table that had a deck of cards and we played one of our favorite games. We really enjoyed having something to do while waiting. Between the drinks, food, inviting atmosphere and prices, Flakes & Fables is doing everything right!

I decided to do the large size iced Thai tea with brulee on top (about 7 dollars). After ordering, we waited in an open space in the back. A couple minutes later, my tea came. After finishing the tea, I ate the brulee, which matched the creme brulee taste from the restaurants. Service was friendly and there was ample room to sit and enjoy the tea. Smooth jazz music was in the background, making the environment inviting. While you order at the counter, the staff delivers the tea to you. This was a very nice tea place in Oviedo. The iced latte wasn't my favorite but it got the job done. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and honey and cinnamon, and the honey was compiled at the bottom rather than being melted underneath the espresso. My friends ordered a burrito and one of the rice bowls and I ordered the BLT waffle. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out and once it arrived, my BLT waffle did not have any bacon on it. I notified the staff and then they brought out the bacon shortly after. Everything was delicious and we cleaned our plates. Our only complaint was the long wait time, but my friend said that that was pretty typical for this location. I will gladly come back and try more menu items! Sure, the people are nice enough, but I am quite literally ALWAYS waiting 15 minutes for a single coffee. Often times its more, like 20-25 minutes. Like literally every time I patiently wait and it hits me - "hey, I've been waiting a while, wheres my drink?" The food comes out quicker than the coffee usually! I ordered food from a place across the street, walked over to Craft, order a coffee, it took 18 minutes, and then by the time I picked up the food and got back - my food was cold. Crazy work. All the other shops do it fine; Deeply, Stemma, Lineage. Framework etc - their average wait time is like 5-8 minutes once you order. Craft has some serious issue with the efficiency of their barista line. And I am aware craft coffee isn't immediate unless you're getting drip - I'm only ordering an Americano, its one of the easiest beverages to make. I will sometimes even people who ordered after me get something fancy and then get their drink before mine! And to that note, its not the best coffee. Its surely good, its quality; but they're not making the best stuff in town. If there's some extra steps or something going on, its not worth making me wait at minimum 15 minutes for a drink when there's literally no line, 5 people sitting down in the shop and 6 employees. It makes me not want to go to this shop ever, its just so unfortunately convenient to where I work that its THE place to go. So thats why I'm writing this - were in the same space and I want to see them improve their wait times. They've been consistently bad for far too long! EDIT: I forgot I wrote a review in 2023 being more forgiving but still complaining about wait times. Well, clearly that has not been fixed!

I went with the dark Vietnamese coffee, and it was so good! I might even venture to say one of the best I've ever had... and I've had a lot of Vietnamese coffees from a lot of different places. The shop is clean and decorative. It is very calm and comfortable. I should know because I got caught in a rain storm and lounged on the couch for a minutes sipping my coffee... even though Kevin offered me an umbrella. I did eventually take him up on that, and he even walked me to my car to retrieve the umbrella! I've never had customer service like that from a tea shop! Or anywhere actually lol. My girlfriend loves their Boba and she says is the best she's ever had. She gets it in her Thai tea. The last Vietnamese coffee I had (because I went three days in a row ) was so good that I forgot to even take a picture.
