So I left to shop local and I decided to try this place because I passed by it on a regular basis and I love donuts who doesn't. The donut was really dough and the toppings are added on after it's baked which is kind of weird not to say that the donut tasted weird it was fine it just wasn't extraordinary. Nothing to write home about. Maybe I got the wrong flavor, but chocolate raspberry sounds like a really good combination Sadly not enough raspberry a ton of chocolate chips if that's what you're craving but mostly it's just a topping on very fluffy dough. I can't say that I'll be craving these donuts anytime soon. The space is cute. If you want to go in and sit down everything is fresh which is fine the girl taking my order seem to have a cold and probably should've stayed home because as she was applying the toppings to my donuts, I was secretly cringing perhaps that's management This place is usually closed when I pass by in the afternoon so if you want to donut in the morning and it's on the way or you need a quiet place that isn't Starbucks I can see this as a good option for some people it's just not for me. read more

We were up in this area of town and decided to pop in and try the build your own donut. It was our first time in and we were a little overwhelmed, but we managed to find some good items. The cashier did their best to help us figure out what we wanted and helped us to know which type of donut we would like best. I chose to do the salted caramel and I really liked it. I wish it would have had a touch more salt, but that is a personal preference. One of the kids did a plain glazed and one did the smores. Both liked their donuts and thought they tasted fresh. My husband the PB&J and he liked that a lot as well. The store was clean and there are some tables there. We were a group of 5 and were easily able to pull up a chair to one of the table to fit our group. We did not do any coffee on this visit, but would like to try some on the next visit. read more

The staff is wonderful and only enhanced my overall experience. The donuts are simply incredible. It is a cool build-your-own donut concept. You pick your donut, then the glaze, and then you finally pick your toppings. This is great if you ever found yourself wishing that you could combine two donuts. Well, at the Donut Patch, you can combine those two options and have the donut of your dreams. The Donut Patch would be easy to miss and I had never noticed it before until today. I have to say that I have been missing out. All in all, the Donut Patch is an amazing donut shop and a wonderful part of the Oviedo, Florida culinary map. I pre-ordered their Halloween donuts as my friend highly recommended them. So I drove 40 minutes one way to try them for myself. The place is nice. Came here for a coffee and that was good but I wanted a bagel and nothing on it, just plain and boring. I was in the mood for the asiago one and when I asked for it, the lady said that they are right there and pointed to a plastic bag like the ones you can get at Publix. Unsure if the prices are similar but if they are you might be fine just picking up Dunkin. They offer some differentiated flavors but that's about it. So I was randomly craving donuts and the one closest to me is closed on Tuesday so I decided to find somewhere else and this place popped up! Oh boy was I happy it did! I got a vegan apple fritter....the best thing ever, probably even better then the non vegan ones from what I remember lol I also got a chocolate glazed donut with peanut butter drizzled and peanuts....it totally my own fault but I thought I was getting a chocolate donut and not a glazed. They also dipped the whole donut into the chocolate instead of just glazing it, the chocolate is nice but very over powering, which to me is weird since I feel peanut butter is kinda strong flavor. We Love donuts and have tried most shops in the area. This shop is located in a strip plaza, has about 5 tables and a small lounge area with sofa and chairs for indoor eating. No outdoor eating. The donuts were the freshest tasting I've had, good size and very generous fillings. We had the lemon filled with powdered sugar and raspberry drizzle and a Boston Cream. Both were delicious. We also had iced coffee which was good and very well priced. The service was efficient, helpful and very friendly. You might want to study their choices and different options of type of donut, fillings, or toppings before you get to the counter. They also have other breakfast options on the menu. They make the donuts to order which I found neat. The donuts were super fluffy and soft, I got a bunch of their specialty donuts to try and the salted caramel was so good. The Donut patch is a pretty solid spot for all your breakfast needs. They don't have any vegan breakfast sandwiches, but the vegan donuts are super fresh and delicious. This time around I got the vegan apple fritter (SO GOOD - they've been out when I've been here in the afternoon before) and the vegan French toast donut. Everything is customizable and the vegan options are very clearly marked. The coffee is good and very reasonably priced, as well. Everything is fresh made and excellent quality. If you are a bit indecisive don't worry the owner and her sweet associate are loaded with great ideas. They helped me pick out four flavor combinations that were all delicious. They give you the choice between four base flavors. There was no surprise in the fact that chocolate was my favorite but the vanilla was also very good. After picking your base you move onto the glaze and afterwards the toppings. I ordered a dozen donuts, 2 of each of 6 flavors. They are made fresh to order. The staff was super friendly and I was happy to buy local. I will be back to try other flavors, and get the Turtle donut again. Here's the full breakdown. Turtle donut, was the best of the dozen. Candy bar donut, runner up and great. S'Mores donut, good, but could have used some extra marshmallows, or a marshmallow filling would be even better. The Rainbow Bright donut was tasty and refreshing. Cookies and cream, it was ok. The concept of this donut shop is pretty neat. The donut toppings is made to order. The donut base is a yellow cake and you have the option to choose the type of glaze and toppings. I went basic and just did a regular and chocolate glaze on my donuts. I feel like you can't eat them right away because the glaze hasn't settled yet and you would get messy fingers, but if you have no problem with that definitely dig right in. I also had an ice coffee that was pretty good.
