This place is great with fair prices and friendly staff. I love that they are in my neighborhood and can take a 10-15 minute walk for a sweet treat. I haven't tried their ice-cream but it looks really good.

Stumbled across this donut shop while waiting for laundry and omg was it amazing. Amelia was super attentive with us and so sweet Excellent customer service that made us want to come back. My husband & I ordered their everything breakfast bagel with egg, bacon & American cheese, caramel latte with almond milk, banana cream pie & chocolate donut. The donuts were so moist, soft, and dense but fluffy, literally perfection. We've tried many donut shops and none have reached our expectations until this place. Donuts are not overbearingly sweet and reasonably priced for the size and quality you're getting. Coffee was great too, not too sweet or too bitter. The ambiance was relaxing and chill. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I'm pretty sure I just had an out of body experience in a donut shop - Shaka's cronuts are seriously life changing, not to mention the variety of other options inside this cute shop. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted and served quickly despite the long line. The hot bacon maple donut was perfect, the fruity pebble one transported me to my childhood...but the cronut...did I mention it yet? Holy smokes - pillowy laminated layers that give a half-baklava, half-fluffy yeast donut vibe that explodes with deliciousness. The bright and airy, tropical aesthetic just added to the enjoyment of this sunny Sunday visit. We'll be back!!

Very decedent! They have multiple cake donut options, but mainly they have many choices for the soft fluffy melt in your mouth type of donut. They had multiple filled donut options. My favorite that was available at the time of my visit was the apple filled donut. It had chunks of fresh apple in there and tasted like an apple fritter. Speaking of fritter, they had a pineapple fritter, but I didn't care too much for it. It tasted like a regular donut with extra sugar. They said they were actively working on reformulating to make it more pineapple forward, so I'm excited to try it again once it changes. We tried the blueberry cheesecake donut and my kiddo loved it. If you are a fan of cheesecake, you will like it. Their classic donut is delicious, and every donut is massive. It took my family of 3 multiple days to finish 4 donuts. They also serve ice cream there. The flavors sounded fun and interesting. My husband tried the banana cream pie and blueberry cheesecake and said they tasted like the real deal. The parking lot shares with a very popular local restaurant, so parking is tough. Luckily they do have a few spots reserved just for them. The space has seating outside and inside if you choose to stay. It's spacious, modern, and clean. The staff were so kind and very knowledgeable. They seemed passionate about their flavors and were very friendly. I love when these spots feel like a family already on your first visit. I'm not a big donut fan, but I'm definitely going back to see what else they come up with.

Yummmmmmm, I know I need to say more than just yummmmmmm but that's the best word to describe my experience. They have locally baked sourdough bagels that are phenomenal. You can even buy a 5 pack of these bagels and they are amazing! The customer service from entry to the line cook to departure was all welcoming. It was bright and clean and a great spot to grab a coffee and read a bit. I had the BEC on a bagel and it was SO good!!! My friend had the donut holes and a Boston cream pie donut and she said both were delicious, not too sweet and super fresh. We will definitely return (lots of parking too!)

Clean, delicious fluffy donuts, friendly service! Will definitely be back to try ice cream.

Super cute and clean! Lots of good options for donuts and our breakfast bagels today. Gotta come back to try their ice cream options, everything looked so good! Our breakfast bagels were made with a super soft sourdough that was absolutely delicious. Great service as well, the workers were super sweet!

Such a cute hidden gem! The donuts and bagel sandwich are amazing!! The service is also top notch, highly recommend!!

Shaka Donuts re-opened to a new location on Curry Ford in the Hourglass District on July 1st! I stopped by to check out the new space since I missed having their donuts. Since it's a new space, it's very clean, open, and inviting. I ordered the Strawberry Wafer Donut and the Samoa Donut! The good: Both donuts were tasty! The Strawberry Wafer Donut had a delicious strawberry flavor, and I enjoyed the wafers on top. The Samoa Donut tasted exactly like the Girl Scouts Samoas Cookies. If you love coconut, then you'll enjoy this one a lot. The bad: Nothing at all! Overall, I'm glad that Shaka Donuts re-opened, and can't wait to return to try the other flavors such as the Banana, Creamsicle, and Boston Creme Donuts!

I've come a couple times with my husband, and we've had excellent service both times. We have had the same employee each time and she remembered us when we walked in. she's always so patient with us and explains when we have questions. I like the cookies & cream, and my husband likes the pb&j donut. We tried the iced coffee today too and it was great. They even offered a free donut to my husband when his donut holes were a little soggy. We really appreciate the friendliness in this world. And the donuts are great! Thank you!

First time at the new location and we have always been a fan of Shaka! We stopped by after dinner at F&D, love the convenience of having dinner and then walking over for some dessert! We were all stuffed but our toddler wanted ice cream, so we got him ice cream! The interior was so pretty and inviting, counter was clean and service was great. 2 recommendations: 1. covers for the ice cream cup if taking to go- my toddler only had a couple of bites and we were all so full from dinner so wanted to bring it home to go. Luckily we live a short drive away but would've been nice to have a lid. 2. Trash can- there was only a small trash can on the counter, which seemed more for spoons after trying flavors of ice cream. My toddler dropped a little ice cream and we cleaned it up with napkins and had trouble finding the trash can (the little one was full). We would definitely come back again, a little hungrier next time to fully enjoy all the treats!

Nice area, not to busy and a couple of other very good hang outs on the same block. Donuts are all lights out. Huge donuts, fluffy. Tons of filing in the filled donuts. Blueberry cake donut is a must try. They even have a few beers on tap. I could hang out here all day drinking beer and eating donuts and I would start with a breakfast sandwich made from donuts. If I lived closer I would be much fatter than I already am.

Amazing donuts, really good. Alot of variety. Big donuts, 1 or 2 max! My son busted up 4. I wouldve too if i was his age

It was really loud and there wasn't many soft surfaces to help absorb that sound. The location did appear to be clean. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the fried chicken benedict. Huge sprig of rosemary. Cayenne pepper (if it wasnt cayenne then idk what it was but thats what it tasted like) . Hollandaise was like glue. Maybe it was supposed to be gravy? Batter didnt stay on the chicken. Scrambled eggs in the chicken batter with a slice of cheese. Deep fried raw spaghetti noodles (why???). 2 pieces of bacon. Tomatoes. A pile of uncooked spinach. Frozen biscuit (if it wasnt frozen, you need a new biscuit maker). Mashed potatoes from a bag. Orange slice. Cantaloupe slice. This was a terrible version. Stop. Leave the stupid rosemary off your dishes. It looks stupid and not everyone likes rosemary. I dont recommend this place. Go to Dennys or Waffle House.

It was bagged nicely and well organized. The omelette was a generous sized portion with plenty of tender chicken, peppers, and cheese. My mom enjoyed the banana pecan waffles, and I took a couple bites as well. It was sinfully sweet and enjoyable, especially the bananas. And I must say the coffee was so good, it was even better than the Juan Valdez coffee that I make at home. Since I didn't visit the restaurant, I can't comment on the atmosphere. And you always have to get a cheddar drop biscuit. That's a non-negotiable. This restaurant is very popular and often gets quite busy, so I recommend to make a reservation as soon as you're ready.
