The staff here is very prompt, kind, and welcoming, which really makes the visit enjoyable. I also like the variety of donuts they offer, and I think it's a great touch that they serve breakfast sandwiches in the early mornings -- a nice twist that sets them apart from the usual donut shop. The additions made to the building also create a quaint ambience, which gives the shop a warm and inviting feel that adds to the overall experience. As for the doughnuts themselves, they were just average to me. I'd give them a solid three out of five. Nothing really wowed me flavor-wise, though that could simply be a matter of personal taste. With so many high star reviews, it almost pains me to say that, but in my opinion, they landed more in the "good but not amazing" category. That being said, I'll definitely be back to try again -- especially to give their breakfast sandwiches a go in the morning. I'm also looking forward to seeing if they bring out new flavors for the fall and Christmas season.

What a nice addition to the corner where The Wood Shed Diner was for years. The place looks happy and so are the staff inside. They've been opened for 3 months now and the place was busy. So many donuts flavors from which to choose and all are made on site. Great coffee choices too. We noticed they offer a breakfast burrito too if you want savory. There are places to sit and stay too.

First of all, the staff really are friendly and efficient. But, the doughnuts changed. I ordered a 1/2 dozen of the cream filled, vanilla cream and bavarian cream. These 2 flavors are very good, but they were less filled from first couple of weeks when they 1st opened. I was surprised at the price $3.09 per doughnut, but they were worth it for the amount of cream that they, so generously, filled each doughnut in the beginning, but not any more. In fact, my spouse noticed the lack of filling on the first bite of the Bavarian cream just as I said something about the lack of vanilla white cream. They were perfect the first couple of weeks and tasted hearty and good it's too bad they've changed.

I love doughnuts so when I heard this shop opened close to home , I had to try. I stopped in to get a dozen for my daughter's birthday and the variety was wonderful. Service was so nice and friendly and I loved how you can sit and enjoy a coffee or drink with your doughnuts. My favorite was the raspberry cloud ( powdered sugar and filled with raspberry jam ) but the glaze and maple bacon were a hit with the kiddos. Not sure if they have a strawberry frosted so I'll have to come back and check for my daughter as she loves those a lot. It was $40 bucks for the dozen so a bit pricey I would say considering I order doughnuts from several local shops for less that have the same or better quality. Just my feedback.

These donuts were dropped off for the holidays and all I can say is it was great. It's the perfect combination of not too doughy and not too light at the same time. It was nicely decorated for the Christmas season. Everyone enjoyed it and raved about it . Will be purchasing - awesome!

The plus, the staff are super friendly and prompt with service. They have coffee with at least two sugar free flavors. I was always greeted with a smile. It pains me to say this because I liked my experience at Doughlicious but sadly to me the donuts are average at best. Add to that the price I'm just not feeling it. Not saying I won't be back as they are the best we have in close proximity but I've def had better. For 1/2 dozen and a medium latte $25. To me that's a bit high. I will say the size of the raised donuts is much larger than the competitor. They do have apple fritters which I will come back and try for sure. If the fritter knocks my socks off I promise to up date my review.

Stopped in early on Saturday to see what's what. I wanted to try the donut holes in a cup as a starting point and decided to add the apple fritter and a surprise addition of a breakfast burrito. I was not expecting to be most pleased with the burrito but it is what it is. Perfect size - and price at only $4.99 - it came with a little side of salsa. Nicely pressed and a great little start to the day. The donut holes in a cup were, honestly, just ok. The apple fritter was promising but kind of raw on the inside so I would not call that a winner. It's a bit out of the way for me so I don't think I'll be coming back but I do think it's worth a burrito if you're in the area! Nice interior and relatively easy parking so there's a plus for access.

I live in Apopka and ever since this donut shop opened I kept seeing great things about it online, they kept selling out super early so I was very excited to try them. I finally had the chance to check them out and trust me they did not disappoint!! BEST DONUTS IVE EVERRR HAD! loved loved loved! I got a pop tart donut; was 6.99 it was huge! And very delicious. Two glazed donuts $1 and some change (very good very soft and flaky Blueberry cheesecake; this was the only one that disappointed me why, because it had too much blueberry filling I didn't taste the cheesecake at all. Birthday cake was very delicious my daughter loved it Homer donut; I was very impressed this donut was so delicious, it tasted like strawberry and it was sweet but not too sweet just perfect The employees were very friendly. I had no idea they also had a seating area, it's kind of small but that's still so great that they do and they do sale coffee, I didn't try it but will def do next time I go!

These donuts were delicious! I visited on opening day, and the line was out the door and down the sidewalk--but the hour-long wait honestly didn't feel that bad. The staff was all very happy and welcoming. Everyone had big smiles on their faces. The shop interior is so cute, and I loved hearing the story behind the owners (he used to work in the race car industry but left the travel-heavy lifestyle to start this business--so inspiring!). This shop also has a lot of good photo ops and seems like it's gonna be very Instagram-able. They did a phenomenal job with the paint job both inside and out. I can definitely see this place becoming super trendy. As someone who loves supporting local Apopka businesses, I was really excited to try their donuts. That said, I was a little disappointed during checkout. My neighbor, who was ahead of me in line, was told about a buy-one-get-one deal on certain donuts. But when I ordered my dozen, I wasn't offered the same promotion. My total came out to around $45, which caught me off guard since I thought the price for a dozen was supposed to be lower. (This could've been my fault for misunderstanding the menu or not asking for clarification before ordering) I had family in town and was so excited to treat everyone, so I went for the full dozen. While I'll definitely be back, I'll probably just grab a donut or two next time. I bought them on Saturday morning and they were still good by Tuesday.

This was my first time here. The shop was clean and inviting. All donuts looked great and a nice size. I ordered a regular glazed and a glazed twist. Im more of a donut purist and prefer the classic. They did have a wide variety to try. The donut was average. Good but not amazing. It was 8 am and didn't taste as fresh as I'd like. Not as soft of dough either. Ill come back and give them a second try.

We tried the Pop Tart, Oreo, Glazed, Crème Brûlée, Lemon Cheesecake, Cake Batter and Cinnamon Sugar all being pretty yummy! My favorites the Glazed and Lemon Cheesecake. I also tried a coffee drink (Latte) and it was reasonable good ...nothing spectacular. They are very pleasant and the cashier was very business oriented LOL suggesting several times to try a Coffee drink! Go early to avoid a long queue. Definitely if you enjoy Donuts give them a try!

They have a little machine that makes the mini donuts, and times it perfectly to flip them over. They are made to order and come out super hot and perfect. There are many toppings you can choose from including the classic glazed, powder sugar, churro flavor, sprinkles, cookies and cream and more. There were about 10-12 different combinations to choose from. What I love is that they have the options displayed so you know what they look like. The donuts are sold in dozens and you need to choose only one combination. I would prefer to be able to choose 2 flavors, since 12 donuts are a lot for one person. However, they are absolutely delicious and I will get them every time we visit. I really prefer two, the powder sugar, which they are more like beignets. So yummy! And I like the cookies and cream which is pieces of Oreos. They do put a little powder sugar on the cookies and cream as well. I would like to try the sprinkle one because they look super colorful and cute and I love sprinkles. Last time, they had something new for us, but fried Oreos. I absolutely love fried Oreo's, I used to get them at Universal all the time. They do not sell them anymore, so I was so glad they had them here. They are sold by the piece which was nice. I only ordered 1 but the super nice employee was having trouble finding the Oreo's. He ultimately did and gave us 2 for having to wait. So nice! Overall this is a great place to get a little sweet treat. Everything is portable so you can take it and go. There are tables at Plant Street which is great. Grab food, grab a dessert and a beer and call it a great day!

Sir Benji's Donuts is a small spot located inside Plant Steet Market in Winter Garden. Their stand is small but perfect for what they make, donuts! Everything they make is made fresh and right in front of you. Kids love watching the donuts pop out of the machine and get made right in front of them. The donuts come out hot and fresh and then can be served plain or topped with one of their many options. You can eat them plain but that's boring, if you are going to have a sweet treat, you might as well go all out. They offer many toppings to choose from from glazed to cookies and cream. I think there was about 10 different options. All of their toppings are on display so you know exactly what you are getting. They are also sold by the dozen and each dozen includes one topping. Again I am not a sweet person, so I am good with 1 or 2 and I make my wife eat the rest (she's ok with that). I do think it would be nice to have them in 6's but I understand. The ones my wife and I have had were the powder sugar and then the cookies and cream. Both we fantastic, really delicious and went really well on the mini donuts. On our last visit, my wife ordered us fried Oreo's. I mean Oreo's and they are fried? Come on, that's a perfect combo! The wonderful guy working also gave us a second one for free since he needed to find them. Overall this is my favorite spot at Plant Street to grab a sweet treat. Everything at Plant Street is portable, grab and go find a table. We had dinner and then dessert while also having some beers. I would definitely recommend coming here and checking them out! ACES

Another reviewer accurately described it as a "cronut", or a mash-up of a croissant and a doughnut. The texture is different but the sweet factor is intact! We chose a Saturday morning to visit because our son was available and wanted to check out Parlor, since he is a doughnut aficionado. We found plenty of available parking spots. The bright interior with east-facing windows and white and blue tile made for a cheery atmosphere. Of course the doughnuts and good service add to the brightness. A French Toast doughnut, Spinach Pesto Breakfast Sandwich (a lovely savory and served in a ciabatta roll), and Proper Coffee (drip) were ordered on this visit and throughly enjoyed while sitting on comfy chairs. The laid-back, family-friendly character of the shop was a welcome change. I'd like to return in the near future after 11 am when the Savory Layered Doughnuts are being served!

The Vibe: The interior is super cute and inviting, and the staff was friendly. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but we got lucky and found a spot easily since it wasn't too busy when we arrived. What We Ordered: * Raspberry Filled Donut * "Sandy Beach" (cinnamon roll-style) * Two Cold Brews They still had a great variety of donuts available, even later in the afternoon, which was a nice surprise. The Donuts: Here's where it comes down to personal preference. These are not your traditional donuts--they're more like a croissant-donut hybrid (think cronut) with a layered, slightly brioche-like texture. Flaky, layered--not your classic donut. If you love that style, you may really enjoy these. For us, we were expecting a more traditional donut, and unfortunately the texture just wasn't our favorite. The Sandy Beach had great flavor, but the texture didn't quite land for me. The raspberry filled had a very standard berry filling that leaned a bit artificial. Drinks: The cold brew was also a miss for us--a bit too acidic and not as smooth as we'd hoped. Overall: While the flavors and textures weren't quite what we were looking for, I can definitely see the appeal for those who enjoy a cronut-style donut. Friendly service and a cute space made for a pleasant visit overall. One thing that did catch our eye is that they offer savory donuts, which sounded really interesting--we'd definitely come back to give those a try. Pro tip: Go in knowing these are croissant-style donuts, not traditional cake or yeast donuts--it makes all the difference.

I'll just wait for them to come to me." Well... I finally caved and got tired of waiting. First off, I'm not a morning person... so the whole "donuts and coffee" at 8am isn't my thing. I was not too thrilled about having to wake up at 6am just to be able to get to try the flavors I wanted before they were all sold out. (FYI: You can order ahead online, but that option can sell out fast too) Also, I'll take a bad yeast donut over a good cake donut any day. Those extravagant Voodoo doughnuts over at Universal are no match for a plain old Krispy Kreme donut straight off the conveyer belt in my humble opinion. This food truck is all cake donuts, so I was a bit skeptical. I'm happy to say, these donuts are insanely good. There were 22 flavors available, and we ordered them all. The most popular, "frosted crack" and "maple bacon", were definitely 2 of my favorites. Simple flavors, yet so delicious. The "French Toast" and the "Cookie Butter" were also high up on my list of must-tries. Even something as conventional as the "chocolate with sprinkles" was friggin amazing. I'm pretty sure it all had to do with the fact that none of these felt like the typical cake donut you would find at Dunkin Donuts. They were way more light and airy than usual. It was almost a mix between a yeast donut and a cake donut, and they were tremendous. It also might have to do with the fact that they were all just freshly made. That also makes a huge difference. What I like about this place is that they don't go overboard with toppings. They just let the flavors do the talking. They don't just throw crushed-up snickers bars, skittles, and whole Oreos on top for the hell of it. They keep it more traditional, and I like that. Makes them way easier to eat as well. The people in the truck themselves are very friendly. The guy that helped us seemed really proud of his product, as he should be. They even have complimentary Starbucks coffee for people as they waited. With a long line at 8 in the morning, it was very much appreciated. Overall, this small and unassuming food truck in the middle of a dirt lot in Mt. Dora ended up having some of the best donuts I've ever tried. Tons of flavors, yet a simplistic theme runs through all of them... flavor. Every bite feels like it's worth the carbs, and I love that. They look great, and taste even better. My only negative about this place is that it's not closer... but that's just me being selfish.
