This place has been around forever and for good reason the food is always fresh. The donuts are perfectly soft and savory in a service is excellent. This is not one of these new trendy places that have a great aesthetic and crappy food. This is a come get what you want and leave kind of place. They do have tables that are available for you to sit and have your breakfast in peace but I was suggesting your food to go just because it is busy and people do frequently come in. The parking lot is small but it's meant for you to pick up and go. They also have a drive-through that operates on the bell system. One of the worst experiences I have ever had within a restaurant/food service establishment. The customer service is absolutely horrible! It will be the last time I go to this here for donuts or anything else. There are too many donut places in this area to have to worry about going here and being treated poorly. Traveled 45 min to get there only to find an interior that the board of health should shut down....They were the worst donuts I ever tasted......... tasted like pure grease. ........ I got 4 angel cream donuts which they charged me .35 cents extra per donut ...only to find they sliced the donuts in half an put a penny size amount of icing that tasted like pure sugar this is not what angel cream taste like... I love places like this!! The epitome of an old-school donut shop with no-frills -- just solid donuts and breakfast items, with the old linoleum tabletops and good vibes. We got three Meat, Egg, and Cheese croissants and a half-dozen donuts (they generously threw in an extra broken donut too!). This place makes me feel nostalgic for my hometown donut shop. Amazing prices always, Bakery plus is my go to for getting my coworkers donuts. Their bagels are good too, especially the BLT.

I came today because of all the bad ratings--I wanted to see for myself. I'm from upstate New York and family-owned delis and bakeries are awesome there. I could tell these are made in-house, the sandwich was fast and hot, and the donuts were not dry or tasteless. I didn't taste any apple in the fritter and it was very sugary--but almost every place I've ever been does not do an apple fritter the way it should be done. For a donut, apple fritter, and sausage/egg/cheese croissant I paid just under $10. I gave four stars because three stars seemed too negative and five stars too much. This place hits the spot if you're in a pinch, and it's a good price compared to typical Orlando. At Bakery Plus you shouldn't expect beautifully presented donuts like The Salty Donut or specialty shops. It's a basic hometown bakery. It was fine for me but I'm a baker and a NYer so most places can be better. ;) read more

I actually really enjoyed Bakery Plus. It's a standalone business, right off of Michigan, and unless you're looking for it, it's easy to miss. The prices are reasonable, and its a no frills donut/coffee shop. The service was pretty standard, but we did visit on a busy Sunday morning, and the two employees were very helpful. The inside is not much to look at, there is a back wall full of your donut choices, a soda machine, sugar and milk station for coffee, and some booths. This was EXACTLY what we were looking for, after being tired of the almost overwhelming amount of chain donut restaurants surrounding our neighborhood. read more

A nice neighborhood find that we stopped by after locating on Yelp. They have some tables to dine in, but most people get their food to go. Ordered an onion bagel, sausage egg and cheese. The bagel is not dense, but light and fluffy. The sandwiches are made to order so can take a little longer to make. The sausage is seasoned nicely. Definitely fills you up and a decent value for $4.49. The staff took time to converse with us between customers and made recommendations. The service was very hospitable, it was too Asian guys that took my order, and they were very thorough with the order which I appreciated. I've had many of their donuts over the last few years because a lot of my students/staff members bring them in. After a recent medical procedure we decided to treat ourselves and immediately thought of Bakery Plus because it had always been SO good. Came for a quick breakfast after the gym. I was the only person there. Ordered 2 bagel sandwiches to go, and they came out really quickly. When I got home I realized that the reason they came out so quickly was because they didn't toast the bagel. I assumed it would be implied that a bagel sandwich would include a toasted bagel. One of my favorite local spots to get custom donuts and egg sandwiches in the SODO area. It's open from 6am-1pm Monday-Saturday. Prices are very reasonable ranging $3-$5 range for a bagel/croissant sandwich. They used to be a cash only place now if you're spending over $5 they take card. The custom donuts are perfect size and delicious. They are about $1.50 or less and they have a large selection to choose from. It's very basic inside with no decorations but they have a few tables to eat at if you're planning to stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. Your order is normally filled within a few minutes. I just moved to the neighborhood and this mom and pop shop already has my heart. The croissant sandwiches have just the right amount of grease, and they're $4! Offered with egg/cheese, bacon, sausage or turkey. Donuts are also so inexpensive, $1-1.50 a piece. I've had a few of the classics plus the maple bacon. Makes for such a nice weekend morning or stop before work (closed on sundays). Small, old school bakery that I discovered while taking a morning walk near the Airbnb my husband and I stay at when we're in Orlando. It was about 8:30 on a Monday morning when I stopped in. I was surprised at how busy it was. The line moved quickly. There are doughnuts as well as bagels and breakfast sandwiches on the menu. I wanted to buy a cake doughnut for my husband but they were already sold out for the morning. Since I heard several other customers ordering bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese, I ordered one for my husband. He said it was 'pretty good' but the top of the bagel was a little doughy and the coffee was 'really good.' Prices are reasonable and service is quick and friendly. The counter staff work very hard and efficiently to serve the walk in customers and the drive thru. Will pick up some doughnuts for our grandchildren the next time we're in town! read more

We finally stopped in this past weekend and were able to grab a few donuts and a breakfast sandwich. It's a smaller parking lot, but most people grab donuts and go, so it's not too hard to find a spot. Once inside, you will order at the counter. They have their donuts and bagels on display in the stand. Sandwiches are made to order. We had a few donuts and a breakfast sandwich. We sat inside as we had our toddler and it's challenging to eat while driving when it's a breakfast sandwich. The donuts were good. Sandwich took awhile to come out. The doughnuts looked almost too perfect to be made in house. I ordered sausage, egg, and cheese on a garlic bagel with a medium coffee for $5.75- the prices were great and the service was friendly and quick. The bagel was very soft and had no crust or chewiness to it. I thought it would be toasted by default but it was not, so I will ask next time. It was more like a soft bread roll with garlic powder. My sandwich was a little bland and not very hot, but the coffee was hot and made perfectly. I really appreciated that the employee who served me also stirred in the cream and sugar for me-- a small but very nice thing for her to do. This bakery is still a neighborhood gem, after suffering storm damage and being closed for repairs, it is now open and thriving. I stopped in about 6:30 AM, just a little after opening, to get a dozen plain cake donuts. Unfortunately, they only had 6 left! So, I grabbed those; and, a couple of Sour Cream, a couple of the Maple Bacon (up-charge); and, a couple of the Cinnamon Cake. They were neatly boxed for my return home. This gives you the chance to make favorites. The maple bacon and blueberry and my favorite. My boyfriend loves the Oreo. Pretty mid. I got a bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. The bagel was weirdly soft and chewy. I asked if they could toast it when I ordered and she said it would be on the grill so it should be crisp, but it just was not. I got some donut holes as well and they were kinda hard and dry.
