My first visit to Phat Ash Bakes in Orlando's Milk District was an amazing experience from start to finish. The location is perfect for the area, and the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with a warm welcome that immediately made us feel comfortable. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was blown away by the weekly cookie selection. There was a display showcasing every cookie available, complete with the ingredients listed for each one. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The employee took the time to explain every cookie one by one and even shared his personal favorites, which made choosing a lot easier. We happened to visit during happy hour, which was an added bonus. I received a free small carton of milk to pair with my cookies, and honestly, there couldn't have been a better combination. The cookies themselves were fantastic. They were soft, fresh, and packed with flavor. The cookies with fillings were perfectly gooey in the center, exactly what you want from an indulgent dessert cookie. My favorite by far was "The Right Stuff," which featured a delicious cookies and cream filling that was absolutely incredible. One thing that added to the fun was the creative cookie names. They all had unique and funny names that made the experience feel a little more memorable and playful. The only cookie that wasn't quite for me was the Phunky Monkey Remix. The banana flavored dough paired with Reese's peanut butter and Oreo pieces just didn't quite work for my taste buds. That said, flavor preferences are personal, and it certainly didn't take away from the overall experience. Before you leave, make sure to ask for their rewards card. They have a stamp program, and because I visited during happy hour, I received two stamps instead of one, which was a nice surprise. Overall, Phat Ash Bakes delivered great customer service, delicious cookies, and a fun atmosphere. Who does not enjoy a good cookie every now and then? There are big big cookies not quite a pound but in that neighborhood. The toppings are plentiful but not overwhelming. Service was fantastic as I was guided through the current available cookies. Some are always available and they have a rotating selection as well. Cute little shop with some merchandise for sale. Specials are on the counter, some grab and gos on the rack on the wall. Lots of parking. Milk, soda and juice are available. The guy behind the counter was helpful. The cookies are those thick almost raw in the middle of which I am not a fan but that is a personal preference but the flavors are interesting and tasty. Phat Ash Bakes serves some bomb, decadent cookies packed with flavor and sugary goodness. They're located at À La Cart- City inside the small pavilion where you go to get drinks. It's a small setup here as they have an actual brick and mortar in town but this is just a little quick serve spot for them. They serve 5-6 cookie flavors, and it's enough given how good they are. We tried a couple flavors and all of them were fantastic. Thick, dense cookies but they're fabulous and manage to still be really soft, a nice texture. I'd take these over a place like Crumbl any day. The cookie butter one was probably my favorite, so much cinnamon flavor and caramel with a bit of icing, just chefs kiss. We came in during an holiday art event being hosted at The Milk Stack and got their pistachio brookie. The flavors were okay, but it mostly just came across as overly sweet. I would've liked it to be stronger in the pistachio or nutty side. The owner was really nice and friendly and it is nice that you can get milk for such a low price to go with your cookie. Overall the prices were a little high, but the cookies (and other various items) are massive. I kind of wish they sold smaller ones for when I just want a little treat, but I guess that's not their specialty. read more

I jumped on an opportunity to buy discounted cookies recently after they over produced cookies for a recent Milk Mart--ordering online was so easy and I got emails alerting me with all the info I needed for pick up at their brick and mortar location. I like to think of myself as a cookie connoisseur. I eat them every single night before bed and have been doing so for at least 30 years, so I think I've got the cred. I know there's a cookie fad out there of these overly large, ridiculously topped, and almost undercooked cookies. I don't get the hype and think people need to reevaluate what they think a good cookie is. With that being said, Phat Ash has done a great job of making their cookies fun, appealing to that fad, but staying closer to what a cookie actually is/should be. Being a classic cookie lover, I love their chocolate chip. It's a good size, has a little crisp around the edges and is gooey in the middle...but not undercooked! It has great flavor, the perfect amount of chocolate chips to cookie ratio (which is very important). I think I've tried maybe one other flavor, but can't remember what it was. I keep going back to the chocolate chip! Their other flavors have been super tempting though and they all look great! I'll definitely be eating more of these when I see them out and about at breweries and other places. Maybe one of these days I'll get a different flavor! read more

Every time we passed their milk district location, I always discussed about stopping by. The day finally came but I was frankly disappointed. One option was a chocolate peanut butter one and the first thing I thought when bitting into it was "wow, this cookie is stale". Obvious by texture and taste. We were lucky enough to experience Phat Ash cookies at a food truck festival, but it looks like you can also get them at Grilled Cheezus or order online and have them shipped or pickup at their speakeasy location. They gave us the premade dough, and we got to mix in all kinds of things to make our own cookies! (I'm talking biscoff cookies, lemon crumble, peanut butter chips, marshmallows, chocolate chips, Oreos, marshmallow fluff, frosting, espresso glaze....I can keep going...) You can also bring your own mix ins if you want to. We brought some wine, made all kinds of fun cookies, and then ordered grilled cheese from Grilled Cheezus next door while they baked. When the cookies were done, we got to decorate them. They give you all kinds of ideas and tips, and they are very nice! We had a great time making our cookies. They had a nice arrangement of cookies today at the Orlando parking lot brunch event. I opted for the baby got back and the rager. These cookies were decadent and thick! The baby got back had a small cinnamon roll inside, loved the addition to the cookie, and it tasted amazing! My favorite though was the ranger, can't ever go wrong with fruity pebbles plus at first bite I just overall loved it.
