    Mochi donuts

I love Mochinut UCF! They have a variety of flavors which they rotate. I have tried their strawberry with the pocky stick, ube, guava cheesecake, pandan coconut, and caramel churro. I have yet to try the butterbeer flavor which looks so yummy! I'm also a sucker for Korean corndogs. My go-to is the half mozzarella, half hotdog, sugar-coated with spicy mayo on the side. They serve it hot which makes the cheese all perfect and oozy. You can buy these separate or as a combo. They have refreshers and milk tea. FYI for my nondairy-loving yelpers: They can only make the tiger (brown sugar) milk tea with a milk substitute which is sad for my lactose intolerant tummy but it's still good. All other milk teas (I was informed by the staff) comes pre-made with whole milk and cannot be made with alternate milk. The little crane game inside is fun though! It's dangerous, I could play this all day. Make sure to follow their instagram page for updates.

Guava cheesecake mochi donut, chewy fun texture, mild flavor though.

Ii like the mochinut donut texture; it's bouncy, a nice chew to it. The guava cheesecake had a very mild flavor. The cream filled Korean donut had a lot of cream, but a mild flavor also. I'm not sure if it sort of tasted like plain cheesecake. I would get a stronger, bolder, flavor next time. They're a little pricey.

It's located in a nice plaza of food, treats and milk tea. The Korean hotdogs were tasty which is why exactly why we went there. We tried three different pastries sadly they were pretty mild in the tasty flavor expectations from how delicious they look. The staff was friendly and got our orders out quick.

This was a delicious sweet treat. It's not your typical sweet fix...but it's so much better. I had Brown Sugar Boba. It was very good and refreshing. Not overly sweet and it hit the spot. My cousin picked up two mochi donuts to try; cookies and cream and a cherry blossom one. Mochi donuts are only slightly sweet and have a bouncy chewy taste. We shared them and they were good. Due to the bouncy texture, I didn't feel like I was eating pure sugar or anything processed. It was a delightful dessert!

In the mood for sweets but tired of the same old thing. Mochinut is a cute little shop that serves up unique donuts (the flavors rotate often so always something mew to try!) and milk teas! They also have jazzed up hot dogs and mozzarella sticks with different coatings (cereal, ramen, etc). If you have any questions the friendly staff will help answer any questions you may have. I ordered the Matcha milk tea and three for $10 mochinut donuts. If you have never tried mochinut donut before they are chewier than a regular donut since they are made with rice flour. They are still round and have a beaded effect. I had a strawberry and cosmic mochinut along with the churro. Love these flavors! Also ordered a matcha milk tea with bobas. Im not exaggerating when I say it's my new favorite and probably one of the best milk teas I have tried!! If you are around the UCF area stop by this cute, colorful shop for a snack or treat!

I've been seeing Korean corndogs all over my timeline! I was so excited to come in and give it a try. They had many different flavor combinations! I really liked the half cheese half sausage with either potatoes or hot Cheeto crust. The donuts were very fluffy and next time I would love to try different flavors! The weight wasn't too bad to get our food as well.

Pink Frosted Sprinkled, Mango, and Guava Cheesecake Mochinut

I am very impressed with Mochinuts, but the quality differs significantly between flavors. Remember that these aren't really "doughnuts", so the base flavor profile is different. They are best as a vehicle for more extreme, fruity flavors. I was already in the area, so I decided to swing by and try a "Mochinut". They sell them in multiples of three for $10 per three - less than what the menu on Yelp says. All in all, that's reasonable for "specialty" doughnuts. I got a Guava Cheesecake, Mango, and Pink Frosted Sprinkled Mochinut. They didn't have a huge assortment of flavors, so these were the ones that stood out. I ate the Pink Frosted Sprinkled Mochinut first, and - despite all the good things I have to say later on - it was very underwhelming. Firstly, I thought there would be a lot more Mochi in the Mochinuts, as while the consistency is very chewy and glutinous, it's not quite as different from standard doughnut dough as I would have hoped. Admittedly, I was expecting it to resemble Mochi Ice Cream, which was an unrealistic and unfounded expectation on my part. Secondly, there was not much of a flavor to it. There's much less sugar content in a Mochinut (which was a big plus later on), but without any real flavor from the Pink Frosting, it was a chewy, mostly flavorless dough circle. Later on, I had the Guava Cheesecake and Mango Mochinuts. Both of these were really excellent. Before I go into why, let's explain what works well about the Mochinuts in general. The unusual shape (a conjoined ring of many small dough-balls) is both interesting visually, and allows you to easily separate the Mochinut into multiple smaller pieces, which is really the best way to eat it. The texture is very unusual, and very pleasant. The bounciness of the dough makes it distinct from a regular doughnut, while also playing to it's strengths. That is, the base flavor. As previously stated, the base flavor is somewhat plain, but the lack of sugar allows you to appreciate the more subtle glutinous flavor in the dough, as well as avoiding overpowering the flavor from the frosting/topping. Speaking of the flavor, the Guava Cheesecake and Mango were both good choices. The light fruit flavor really melds with both the subtle flavor and the bounciness of the dough. I shared some with a friend who doesn't like sugary foods, and they loved it. I myself don't have a problem with sugar, but I think even then I still prefer these Mochinuts over your typical doughnut. I don't think they compete with a really nice Boston Creme, but they easily triumph over a standard frosted doughnut from Krispy Kreme - and they should, they're twice the price. What I recommend is to get the three-pack for $10, and get three exotic, interesting flavors you wouldn't really get on a normal doughnut. Split them into the dough-balls (like doughnut holes) and have a couple of each. Four was more than enough for one serving, despite the lower sugar content. They're great for sharing too; $3 per Mochinut makes it easy and reasonable to split between a few friends.

We stopped here to get a sweet treat after dinner. This place is super cute! They have a place to take selfies at the front of the store. I got the S'mores Mochinut and it was really good! I love that you can pull apart the little sections. It's fun to eat and tasty. I got the Brown Sugar Boba and it tasted yummy! The Brown Sugar flavor was delicious but the boba was a bit chewier than I would have liked. You should come here if you want to get a quick treat! I would get the Boba Tea without Boba next time though.

    Raspberry, Mango, Coconut Pandan

The flavors they offered were pretty good! I got the pandan coconut, raspberry, and mango. I would give it a solid 7/10 I also tried the sweet potato half & half with sweet chili sauce. The sweet potato taste wasn't super strong. The sweet chili sauce was more sweet than spicy, but they paired well together, and it tasted great fresh, so I would say 8/10! It wasn't too busy when I went, so the wait for the Korean dogs didn't take too long, which was nice. I liked the general design of the place too! A good amount of seats available

A new spot on the collegiate way strip. There are a couple mochi donut and Korean hot dog spots in town (and a couple on the east side of town too) so this is not a unique concept. They even have another MochiNut location in Orlando already. However, I'm sure this will be a great walkable spot for college students to get to. I will note that the variety in hot dog options help MochiNut stand out. The coatings include such things as ramen, crunchy cereal, potato, etc. and the dipping sauces range from sriracha to honey butter powder. In my visit, I got to try the original sprinkle donut, the passion fruit donut, a Thai bubble tea, and a ramen coated Korean hot dog. I thought the donuts were good but their batter is a little too eggy for me on the original flavor. The passion fruit flavor was spot on. The ramen hot dog was good and not too fried and the kimchi dipping sauce will probably be my go to. Additional notes: I did not knock off stars for this because this location is currently in soft opening. I went at 6pm and they were out of two flavors and while I was there, they sold out of donuts by 6:30pm. I ordered only one hot dog and it took about 25 minutes to receive it (boba and donut came pretty immediately).

Cute spot in East Orlando near the college. The selection seemed to be fairly small and redundant, with only a few flavors of mochi donuts to choose from at a time. I was kinda bummed with my food, the donuts were a little on the drier side than what I'm used to from that style of donut and my half and half Korean dog was more like 3/4s cheese and 1/4 hot dog. Service was fine though for a spot where you just order at a counter and pay at a Square reader POS.

This is a new Mochinut location to the UCF food scene, tucked away on Collegiate Way. My kids and I love the other location on Sand Lake Road, so I was excited about this latest location! Their donuts were delicious -- chewy and soft, and offered in a variety of fun flavors. I also ordered some of their K-Hot Dogs -- their Eolte and Blue Takis. Their K-Hot Dogs are made fresh to order, and were prepared promptly. The Elote with their honey butter sprinkles was fantastic! The Blue Takis had just the right amount of heat. The seating area was comfortable and clean. This is an excellent location! I'll be back!

Love how they switch their flavors every week! Always something new and delicious to try, the donuts are soft and moist, so perfect! The Korean corn dogs are one of the best I've tried, and they have a good amount of toppings. The boba is also very good, love the cute can it comes in.
