Love the small diner vibe. It's a very casual atmosphere and super friendly staff. The bagels are New York style. They are on the larger size with a soft inside. I tried the challah French toast and it was amazing. They have a large selection of baked goods and I purchased a few different Items to try at home. Unfortunately, they were all pretty dry. I'm not sre if they were baked fresh or not, but I was disappointed. The bagels and fresh toast and the friendly service will have me going back for a second try.
Bagel King has a unique small hometown diner feel but in the heart of Casselberry in a busy shopping plaza! Food is great, service is fun and upbeat and I love the premade pastries ready to go! Please stop in if you are looking for Brunch In Casselberry.
Not sure if anyone really has had EVERY bagel in central florida but it has become more popular in the past couple years where I've seen more pop up. There are definitely more donut shops than bagel shops. I love that this place is very big and you can actually eat here. The bagels are reallly good but the breakfasts are really big and the prices are great. Nothing is not worth the price for the amount you get. The potatoes are the shit so make sure you get those!! Most of the breakfasts come with a bagel and you can pick one of their many spreads. I had the egg bagel with cinnamon butter spread and the chicken friend steak. So good. Staff was real helpful and always around, even sitting outside. Coffee is self serve so you have to go get it yourself at the counter all the time which is good.
RUN to get this garlic rosemary Parmesan bagel with egg and cheese. It's only $5.25 and SO AMAZING. I walked in and ordered it to go and was walking back out again in ten minutes. Everyone is so nice here and if you're going to stay awhile they have free WiFi and unlimited coffee refills. I love that they have different coffee flavors and I can get a different one every refill. Great vibes here!!!
Met up with a friend for a quick lunch here. This place has been around for a really long time. They have a pretty extensive menu with fun diner fare. Since we were there for lunch I didn't end up getting bagels however their tuna sandwich was incredible! Got it with a side of fries and omg they were so good and not too greasy. I will definitely be back to actually get bagels, as it is in their namesake but man was that lunch filling and delicious. The service was friendly and quick. It gives diner vibes and I love diners so great experience for me!
Love the service here, they have a great variety of bagels with a texture more like a bread I feel, but they have wonderful spreads, and they're freshly made every morning!
Authentic NY-style Jewish diner with casual family vibes and a big menu. Lots of great food for a great price!
This isn't a fancy place at all but has the best bagels! They've been around a long time and I love they have that staying power. I love you serve your own coffee, tea or soft drink. They have wonderful challah French toast too. Just a cozy friendly breakfast and lunch place!
I have frequented Bagel King for a few years and it's always a great place to get a good home style breakfast. I stopped by because I was craving a breakfast sandwich and I have to say that I was a little disappointed. I got an Andy's Special on an Asiago bagel and the bagel was a bit burnt; however, the contents of the sandwich was cooked as expected. I only took off one star because this restaurant typically delivers well cooked food so this experience was an exception to the rule. Beyond this, the service was good and the restaurant was clean and quaint. I'll definitely return in the future.
Love this place! It has been a while since I have been here since we've moved further from it. But my wife and I stopped to dine in. It's as close as a NY Jewish bagel shop that you'll likely find in the area. The good stuff: bagels are great! I always like to order the Andy's special which is a Barack fast sandwich on a bagel - I ordered it this time and it was fantastic! They don;t skimp, it's a nice full size bagel sandwich wrapped regardless if you are dining in or taking it to go. The place is almost always crowded and it is a little confusing on if you should sit, go to the counter or what......they restaurant could help with a few signs to make customer's experience better. We sat outside because the weather was nice and enjoyed our breakfast. This helped with the noise levels as well b/c inside can have a higher noise level. Bottom line. If you are looking for a Bagel and in the area - this one is great!

Haven't been here for a while since I never get to this side of town anymore. Today's stop did not disappoint - still the same great food and service. Got the breakfast special" western omelette- full of meat with a large side of home fries- and of course a bagel. The ambiance was nice and quiet with light oldies playing in the background.

Pros: Very nice hustle and bustle NYC atmosphere. Plenty of good seating. Very good, upbeat vibes. Service was great. Very friendly people, a full self-self coffee bar, and the food came out very promptly. The food itself was the best part. The best bagel breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Very good use of bagel types and schmears. So good! And those home fries. Unless anything I've ever had before. Very indulgent. Cons: Not a single con. A really perfect little breakfast. Tips: Get the home fries. Get a bagel sandwich. If you get the big French toast, prepare to drown it in syrup. And don't get the knish unless you have someone to share it with. read more
Came here one morning for breakfast. It was my first time, but I had heard amazing things for years and years. The place is so fast paced feeling inside. Like, bim bam, here's your coffee, what else do you need, ok have a nice day. I loved it. Feels like what I imagine NYC feels like? Service was impeccable. Very nice people, and very timely wait times. Everything came out quickly and piping hot fresh and piping hot delicious. The food itself was out of this world. I started off with the Hot to Trot Breakfast Sandwich (2 Egg Omelet on our Jalapeno Cheddar bagel topped with Jalapeño Cheddar Cream Cheese, Jalapeño Slices & Thick Applewood Bacon, finished with Hot Honey Drizzle), just look at the picture, it was so sick, 11/10 in deliciousness. I still dream about it. I will say, they forgot the bacon... But even without it, it was perfect. Just, be wary of that. I got it with a side of these Home Fries, which, as you can see, has the potatoes crisped to perfection, and is slathered in cheese and giant chunks of bacon. These were really indulgent, and if you order this, plan on sharing. We also had an order of the Challah French Toast (Toped with cinnamon sugar and powder sugar). This thing was thiccc, sweet, and delicious. It is very thicc, so plan on a lot of syrup dipping. But it's good, if you love French toast and have a sweet tooth, get this. Last thing we tried was a Large potato Knish (Thin layer of dough stuffed with seasoned mashed potatoes baked to perfection and server with Düsseldorf mustard). This was good. Well-cooked dough, not made too soggy from the mash, and the mustard cut through all the decadence in a nice way. Overall, this was an exquisite visit. This place needs to be winning best breakfasts and brunches, instead of national chains. I like to keep it local when I can, and I will be coming back here. read more

This was our first time sitting down to eat. We have gotten bagels Togo here before, but never had the food menu. I got the Sunny Rachel with a jalapeño bagel and jalapeño schmear. Wow that schmear was spicy! Great flavor, but high heat. The corned beef was cooked really nice! Good crunch and flavor to it. The egg was perfectly over medium like I asked for. The service was fast and friendly. Clean store. Overall very nice breakfast read more

I will never be the Duke of Bagel King! Bagels seem like the next big thing in Orlando. It's so hard to find a good one. I enjoyed the bagel here, but it was by no means the best. It had a big hole (who likes that?), not very much Everything seasoning (look at the pathetic coverage), and didn't have that chew that I like (to each their own). Biting it was too easy! It would make a good sandwich bagel, but as a bagel bagel, it was sub-par. Now that Veggie Cream Cheese!!!!!!!!!! That was off the chain good! It saved the mediocre bagel from being tossed in the trash (Ok, I wouldn't do that). The price was good though at $1.50 per bagel. I think it was under $3 with the cream cheese (which as different price points) The place was odd. It's a sit down restaurant and ordering at the counter is for "to go" orders. I wouldn't have felt right sitting at a table and ordering a bagel w/ cream cheese, so I ordered to go and sat outside (illegally, as those are for dine-in only) to eat my bagel. The quest continues for a great bagel. But as far as cream cheese goes, this was one of the tops (behind Brueggers Bacon Scallion). read more

Simply the best. I keep trying new bagel places, but I keep ending up back at Bagel King. They really are the best. They have the best options, they are usually well-stocked, and everything is delicious. I've been coming here for about 20 years, and I've seen many iterations of this place - but they always manage to keep what counts. And the people are friendly too! Lots of quintessential Jewish items (Challah, Knish, Matzo Ball Soup, etc.) -- but they also serve bacon for the rest of us. I appreciate that. Cheese danishes and everything bagels are my favorite. My Dad is partial to the Andy Special. Highly recommend! This is a great place to sit down or order to go. read more

My order was messed up. I was so upset that i called to let them know. I come here often and this has never happened! I wasn't able to come back so they MAILED me a gift card. The bagels are amazing. The inside is always clean and smells delish, but the management is the best part. read more

Bagel King has lots of bagels. Plenty of schmears and you can mix it up to your hearts delight. They've also got baked goods and menu items that could lure you away from a bagel. The coffee is unlimited and self-serve which is nice. Just grab a table you like and a server will come get your order. Old time diner feel is nice inside. read more

So happy with this bagel shop!! It's surprisingly hard to find a good quality bagel that's not dense and spongey, everything about this breakfast sandwich was flavorful and soft. read more
Great food with very friendly service. The soda fountain was down, and the coffee station wasn't the most well kept but otherwise an great experience. Would come back for the bagels, great deals. Put almost any sandwhich or omlete on a bagel. read more

With it being National Bagel Day, I had to come give this place a try! Loved that they had a wide variety of menu offerings outside of bagels. Sandwhiches, salads, and of course, bagels. They had lots of options for toppings on your bagels as well! Definitely the king of options if you ask me. Overall though I was a little disappointed in the bagel I ordered. Usually the Asiago bagels are my fave, but the freshness was a little lacking in my opinion. I overall enjoyed the experience and will return for a second try. :) read more
