Love this spot--especially the baristas--but their store is always out of bagels and drink material. , I wanted a smokey bagel with jalapeño cheddar with an almond milk chai. Baristas were kind but told me theyre out of salmon, out of chai, and they had to check for almond milk and the bagel type. My daughter wanted vegan chive and the nitro cold brew but they are out of that too. They had cold brew jarred but she passed. This happens every time we show up. Always out but they dont seem exceptionally busy so i dont knoe if theres a morning rush or something and i should just go early in the day. This spot is great--but with gas and everything being reslly high, it makes the drive over disappointing when my family wants to support them and tip but we cant get the food we wanted. To be safe, id recommend going elsewhere if youre really craving your go-to meal and want certainty that you'll get it. But the baristas are amazing! Great bagel sandwich on march 6... sometimes the bagels are a " mixed basket" (poor in quality when ive gone months passed), but kudos to the chef today. Did good. I loved this. With Einstein's right down the street and my usual, I thought I'd give this a try. Never again! I came for a breakfast bagel, ordered from a very, very limited menu and tapped my card before confirming my order. What I anticipated paying, per tier menu board, turned out higher than expected. They charged my card and then broke down the cost, which each item was higher than show or now shown at all. I said cancel my order and walked out with a receipt. As I looked at it, it was for the purchase and not the cancellation. I went back in, waited in line and watched my order come out. Since moving to Apopka, I was hoping that I'd be near a foxtail coffee. Fortunately this location is not too far from me, and has a drive thru in case I need to stay on the road. I did enter the building on this visit, and I was happy to see that Foxtail is providing social distancing with in the restaurant with spots to stand while and line, or just take a seat until the line shortens. Coming in allows to see more of the menu for beverages and which bagels are available. I usually get a cold brew, and this time of year had a seasonal flavor of the Cubano, and I grabbed a cup and a medium got me pretty wired! I also grabbed one of their breakfast sandwiches with one of their bagels that was made fresh. On another visit, I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, and my only minor complaint is that they add the cream cheese on the bagel when you receive it. It doesn't hurt their review, I'd just rather spread the cream cheese myself, maybe you can get it on the side? I'm aware that not all if the foxtail locations have the same menu, this one is incorporated with Brunos bagels, so this gives the options for bagels with spreads, or breakfast bagel sandwiches. The Foxtail exterior and interior design add a lot to the experience here. The sleek wood finishes create a really nice modern aesthetic. This would be a great place to sit down with someone to share a conversation over coffee. Currently, indoor seating is closed due to COVID. While I would have loved to enjoyed my coffee indoors, outdoor seating was so still open so I appreciated that. The barista was friendly and attentive. I ordered a large black coffee. It was a solid blend. It wasn't the most flavorful of blends, but it was still one I could enjoy sipping on. I generally like to have some notes of flavor in my coffee, but I didn't really get any of those. However, the coffee here is better than a lot of other places. It was definitely prepared well, which is why I'd recommend Foxtail for anyone in the area looking for their caffeine fix. The esthetic inside is very well done. You can seat about 25 people inside and a dozen or so outside. I wouldn't recommend trying to study or read here due to the volume of machines and music. Restrooms were well kept. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was very expensive, took about 12 minutes and ultimately not worth what I paid for it. They also give away free company stickers to customers which are very high quality. Overall it's a pretty pricey and it won't be a quick visit. This is my favorite foxtail location, and not just because it's right down the road from my house! I frequently come here on my days off to complete some work, or for a mid day pick me up in between work and running errands. The ambiance is comfortable and home-like, especially on slower days, complete with a relaxing playlist. Service is almost always friendly and quick, usually in and out in 5 mins or less - my favorite fall drinks are the pumpkin spice and maple pancake lattes, and love that they have vegan cream cheese to go with my bagel!
