Yay Yay Yay! We went for brunch and were not hungry the rest of the day! We ordered two savory and two sweet breakfasts and everyone shared. It was delicious and just perfection! Our waitress was super nice, we were seated 10 minutes after we arrived (we were told it would be 20 min) and our food came quickly. Absolutely amazing breakfast/brunch. As a former GM of a major competitor I cant begin to say how great our experience was. Our server. Elena, was attentive. There when we needed her, not when we didn't. Sounds easy but really isn't. The better half and I sampled several meals all of which were flavor filled, well presented, totally enjoyable. Ticket time ran a little long but certainly acceptable considering the time of day, and amount of business. If your a fan of upscale breakfast/brunch/lunch it's a "must try!!" Me and mom came here on the 3rd of this month. Amber our server was amazing, had us laughing the whole time we were there. She was very knowledgeable of what was on the menu and gave us great suggestions to pick out from the menu. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was nice. I was so excited to see that this location was open during our stay in Williamsburg. There is a gluten friendly menu which meant so many options to choose from for breakfast! We were in town for a family reunion and met up with some folks at this restaurant. From start to finish, everything was terrific.

Excellent food and excellent service. We arrived at 10:30 on a Thursday holiday week and were quoted about 20 minute wait. It was 22 minutes. Which I thought was decent but guy on list behind us appeared to be close to "having a cow" about it. Husband had blackened mahi mahi Benny with home potatoes. Served on brioche not English muffin. Perfectly spicy. Eggs poached perfectly. I had smoke Salmon Benny which is served on a bagel not English muffin. Excellent with perfect eggs. Waitress asked if it was our first time and when we said yes proceeded to explain how this salmon will look because apparently people don't "get" lox/smoked salmon which made us giggle. We also ordered half order beignet to share. We assumed it would come out first but it came out after meal was partially eaten but they were fresh and piping hot. Served with an orange marmalade that was delicious. Only weird thing, didn't impact us, but manager was oddly distant and grumpy. Didn't interact with staff except to bark orders and didn't interact with any customers the whole hour plus we were there. Combining the atmosphere and great staff the restaurant is worth trying. The disappointment is the menu makes you want to try everything, but once the food comes then you don't. Portion size is on the smaller size but nothing wrong with that if the taste can pull it off...it cant. Biscuits are overcooked and dense, beignets weren't light and fluffy but hard on the outside doughy on inside. The numerous other dishes tried by our party of 5 were ok but no one said they wanted to try it again nor did we even say a word about the food during or after. We came here for brunch after spending some time in the area. I ended up joining their waitlist to ensure we got a table even though we were around 10-15 minutes away. Upon arriving, the hostess stated they didn't follow the online waitlist or have access to it but there wasn't a wait so we could be seated immediately. Upon being seated, we were quickly greeted to get our orders taken and drinks ordered. I ordered the apple pie mimosa and husband ordered the tequila sunrise. He enjoyed his drink and I really enjoyed my mimosa. Our waitress brought out the beignet's for us to try and they were delicious! Warm and fluffy. My husband enjoyed the jam they came with. Once his omelette came out, he liked it but said the queso sauce that came on it overpowered the omelette. I thought my shrimp benny was good but it was very light on the shrimp and flavor. My husband and I have been wanting to try Another Broken Egg for quite some time now and after finally getting a chance to dine there last week it's sate to say we were pleasantly surprised! Everything on the menu looked so good it was hard decide but we chose the lobster brie omelet and chicken and waffles that our delightful waitress kim recommended and wow. She didn't disappoint!
