had a terrible experience Saturday! I had a birthday reservation schedule for 12:00pm and they gave me the run around all day. They didn't sit us down until about 12:45pm and after we sat down their were still other parties inside the party room that I had booked for the day, of course I wouldn't tell the other guests to leave because it wasn't their fault. We always had the "kitchen manager" that was very distasteful , rude and wanted to fight one of my guests! This was a horrible experience! I WILL NOT RETURN and corporate is being called! This was an awful experience! read more

Baller brunch place. Perfectly made mimosas, great food, and the staff is friendly and personable. Lonngggg wait times though.

It was our first time at one of the "Another Broken Egg" cafés. Service was great, the hostess was prompt and attentive. However, the food was just okay, especially considering the price. My husband ordered Huevos Rancheros with a side of breakfast chorizo, and I ordered the Crab Benedict. The rancheros was somewhat dry because the eggs were hardboiled. My poached eggs were hard boiled as well and my hollandaise was just passable. I love the rich runny yolk in a Benedict so I was really disappointed. Coffee was not exceptional and the beignets tasted more like hush puppies (maybe I'm remembering and comparing the warm beignets from Cafe du Monde in New Orleans!) It's not that the food was bad, but it was not exceptional. But the service was really awesome. read more

Great brunch, drinks, and staff! Mimosas are fantastic... Egg Benedict are amazing !!!!!

Hunter our waiter did a great job. Food was also great. Would have given 5 star if it wasn't for the wait.

I took my toddler with me since he has been asking for pancakes and we had the worse service. I have never in my life written a review but this will be the first. Hopefully this review will help protect the safety of customers & for the restaurant to get better training for their staffs. Before I start I just want to make note that it was not busy. We were greeted with a not friendly face with, "What do you want to drink"? The server never once checked on us to update us on anything. The food came a little late. I wasn't happy but my toddler and I both still said, "thank you" when the food finally came. The server quickly left. I looked at my plate and all the raspberries that came with my food were mushed on top of one of my meals and I found some rotten. Some of the fruits in the fruit bowl were also not a great sight and didn't look safe to eat. I was surprised the server didn't care how my plate looked. Not once did the server cared to come back to check on us. I ate just certain things I felt safe to eat, and left a whole bunch uneaten. I was disgusted and unhappy with the service. She put the check & to go box on my table without me asking for a box and then quickly walked away before I could say anything. I wasn't going to take anything to go and I was actually ready to give her my card. By then all I just wanted to do was to quickly get out of there. She gave me my card and check back. The heart I have, I still gave her 20%. I never heard a thank you or have a good day. I felt my kindness was taken for granted. Whatever she went through that day, she shouldn't take it on someone else. People like her needs better training and to learn to appreciate life. I really hope the restaurant really take this into consideration. Inspect your food carefully because it can jeopardize the health of customers. read more

Depending on the time a day...there can be somewhat of a wait. I ordered the Salmon Avocado Toast & it was delicious our server (Hayden) was amazing. Initially, I ordered the Biscuit Beignets that hadn't come out prior to our order. Close to the end of the meal...I canceled but he brought them anyways & said it was no charge. Hayden was also quick. He is the best!! read more

No one picks up the phone and the message said to go on Yelp for wait times/reservations but there is no where to check it. Sad

I had no idea I wanted breakfast at 1pm but I have to say it was worth it. My intentions on finding something really good in the area was a complete success. Tried a Coffee Brew for the first time. Don't really understand why the salt and Carmel are on the outside of the jar but ok... The mimosa set the mood for the entire day. The food sent me to a whole new level.... Great place to visit if you are in the area. Recommended to anyone looking for great customer service and food. read more

Our first time here and we are very pleased we came. The call ahead waitlist is worth it for Saturday brunch. Our host Aaron - with whom I'd spoken to on the phone- made it a point to introduce himself to us after we were seated. Our server Hailee was wonderful! She was cheerful and very attentive. The food was delicious. Try the Biscuit Beignets- the are warm and served with a tasty orange marmalade. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Omelet with grits. The omelet was fresh and flavorful. The grits were average- a little disappointing. My companion had the Floridian Omelet which is made with cream cheese and crab. He loved every bite of it. I am sure we will return. By and large, for a franchise restaurant this place makes my go to list! read more

I got the lobster Brie omelette with the black berry stuffed French toast, and let me just say...wow...just wow. This is the best breakfast I've ever had. I don't recall the waiters name but he was so nice and recommended such a great take on the shrimp and grits for my boyfriend. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the great food. Seriously, that food was so good I haven't stopped talking about it and it's the day after. Woah 10/10 MUST GO AGAIN!!! read more

food below par, condiments in plastic packages like a service station, service not good. never again.

I guess covid made this place worst because the food was HORRIBLE. Ordered shrimp and grits + pancakes. Pancakes were burnt!!! Idk what sauce they threw over the grits but it was like it was put in the microwave. It had a coating over the syrup they just brought out. Gross, this is pretty much a Waffle House 2.0 read more

This was my daughter's and I first and last time eating here. I must say, I was not impressed. The first Belgium waffle was hard as a brick, seems as if it had been sitting under the lamp warmer for awhile. The turkey sausage was not cooked all the way and it was dirty. Not impressed with the food at all. Waste of money. read more

Okay not gonna lie. They were packed!! We checked in online which was nice and only had to wait like five minutes once we checked in with the host. But our server was just not pulling 100%. Waited forever for our pitcher of mimosas, she didn't know the menu, and my country steak Benedict was so over cooked it was basically a hard boiled egg. I also asked for a new ketchup bottle Bc the one at our table was empty and she grabbed one off a table, shook it..... and handed it to me. TURNS OUT IT WAS ANOTHER EMPTY BOTTLE!!! Yes, not the end of the world but I was shocked Bc she shook it like there was something in there. Grade A acting skills. Probably will go back bc the pitcher was good and my boyfriend liked his food, but not during prime time brunch on a Sunday. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe has an AMAZING looking menu. There is something for everyone- whether they are looking for savory, sweet, or a morning cocktail. However, When dining there for a late morning breakfast/early brunch, my husband and I were underwhelmed. The hostess that greeted us was lovely. She was pleasant and cheerful and we were seated right away. After that, things went downhill. When spending over $50 for breakfast for two, I expect the service to be great- or at least good. Our server seemed like he was the B team. While we did get our food after 25 min, he mumbled, made very minimal eye contact, and didn't check on us at all. Both of us ordered coffee, and I had to find the server twice to get a refill. My spouse and I ordered variations on eggs benedict. His had hash browns, mine contained crab cakes. While the food was okay, it was not stellar. My crab cakes were mushy, when I expected them to have a crispy crust. The mushy cakes made my English muffin mushy too. The coffee was acceptable. The ladies restroom was quite clean and fresh smelling. If you decide to give this cafe a try- do not order crab cakes, and be sure to give the restroom a visit! read more

I really like Broken Egg cafe for breakfast although generally there is a wait. You can take a wait because they text your cell when your table is ready. This Broken Egg is in North Hills Mall and you can take a walk or shop at Harris Teeter. We arrived at 12:00 noon (closes at 2:00) and there were lots of empty tables and the place looked like it had been busy. They have some gluten sensitive dishes like pancakes, as with most gluten free products they are on the heavy side. Coffee is good and served in nice pottery mugs in a variety of colors. My husband had a sausage and cheese omelette and he really likes that. The potatoes are in small squares and are nice and crispy - a favorite. I had gluten free pancakes with goat cheese and blueberries. It was too heavy. I thought they would be rolled but they just came flat. Broken Egg is a good place for breakfast and we'll return as it's a little different than most. Some dishes you'll like more than others. read more

Cute place, good drinks, good food, terrible service. There was a group of 6-8 overserved young men who were incredibly loud, come to find out they had been waiting for their food for 2 hours. 2 waitresses were more interested in flirting with them than serving their section By the time we got our food (2 drinks later, we can't remember how long we waited) the young men had finally gotten their food too. Service moved quickly enough after that, but we won't be back for a while. The food was amazing, we loved all of it, but we could have gotten food just as good for half the time read more

My fiancé and I tried to make a reservation for the restaurant in North Hills. The Yelp app took us to the one in Morrisville for the waitlist. We drove all the way to North Hills with the assumption we had our reservation. Upon arrival, we were declined. The hostess pointed out we checked into the wrong restaurant. Everybody is human, and we all make mistakes. I just want to say, I am very disappointed that this restaurant could not accommodate TWO people because they made an honest mistake. I have tried to take people here several times and there was always an issue as to why we could not enjoy the breakfast here. I wanted to show my fiancé how great the food was. No attempt was made to even check to see if they could squeeze in two people. Not like we were asking to bring in a party of 12. I understand rules and policies, but I will not be giving this place business anymore. Disappointed in the lack of attempt to accommodate TWO patrons. read more

We were on the waitlist and told by the hostess we would get a call and a text within an hour to be seated. We never heard from them!

Amazing Service from Haley (like Haley Berry)! She was so engaging and made our visit so special and loads of fun!!! Haley's recommendations were on point for a group of 5 and 1 with a gluten allergy! She is about getting to yes and making sure our time was memorable and that we walked out super full!! She is a gem and a has a World Cup standard with her positive, outstanding attitude! We will be back again.. and again! (North Hills, NC)! read more

The service is great and the food is delicious. This is our second time coming and it has been good both times. We haven't had to wait to get a table but the food takes a little while to come out. I wouldn't call that an issue since everything we got was delicious. We have a lot of early runs to the Raleigh Airport so we like going here on the way home. I would definitely recommend trying this place the menu gives you plenty of southern options and they allowed my son to customize his scramble. read more

Honestly really annoyed. I've been here multiple times and always loved it until today. Our server asked to drop off checks super soon after we got our food making us feel like he was rushing us. Then what really got me is I was still eating and had some food left on my plate and he took it from me. I didn't have a chance to say hey I'm still eating because he walked off so fast. My friend and I wanted to have a few more drinks, but he dropped off our checks again without saying a word. Just set them down and walked off. That's what felt disrespectful and again made us feel rushed. My friend and I have both worked in the industry for several years so his explanation of "it's a server habit to drop checks off" is bull. Wasn't overly friendly by any means and truly makes us not want to come back. Server was Tristan C read more

We were looking for a quick breakfast stop before an airport drop off and decided to try something new. It was early-ish on a Sunday morning and we opted to sit at the bar for faster service. Is it just me, or does this place feel like it is trapped in a different era? The North Hills location and pricey menu did not prepare me for what we would find inside. I felt like I was in a New Jersey diner that has been around since the beginning of time. We were out of time to abort our breakfast mission so we settled in with the menu. Our waitress was friendly enough, when we saw her. My husband made a meal of sides: waffle and bacon and I went for a southwestern scrambled egg dish with a side of fruit. We placed our order and then set in for quite a substantial wait. During said wait, we witnessed not one, but two different waitresses drop trays (one full of food, one full of dishes) and a busy, but chaotic take out scene. I couldn't believe how many people were coming to pick up take out orders! Unfortunately for these folks, many seemed to have issues with their orders upon arrival. Our food did eventually arrive. My husbands waffle was hot and fluffy and his bacon was crispy. My egg dish was an uninspiring platter of mush. I can accept that scrambled eggs aren't the most attractive menu item, but there was nothing appealing about my meal. It was all just OK, but the price suggested otherwise. With all of the other options nearby I can't think of a reason we would return. read more

I joined the wait list for a wait time between 19-31 minutes, checked in early for our party of 6, we waited 1 hour inside because we have 2 infants. Angel the hostess told us the table we could see would be ready shortly and apologized about the wait... then told us "another party" actually checked in before us. The "other party" was not even present, Angel stated that she had to give them 10 minutes to show up, and that even though they were not present it would be another 30 minute wait for my party. It appears that Angel gave our table away to her friends and told us it would be another 30 min wait, again we already waited an hour on a 19-31 minute reservation. Not happy with our experience obviously. Won't be returning to this location. read more

So disappointed. Service was awful and food was just ok. It took at least 15 minutes to even order a drink and waited another 15 to receive Bloody Mary and order our meals. Then the food took easily 45 minutes for 3 adults and 2 kids. Every customer looked irritated and hungry. Too bad because it has such potential. We will not be back. Edit* management asked for contact info but never heard anything again. Save your Sunday for LaStella or Flying Biscuit. read more

Nothing can start my day right like a good brunch and I enjoyed a good brunch here my only complaint ( mostly my fault for not mentioning) is I got too much whipped cream on my pancakes which make them soggy and nobody like soggy pancakes. I went to Another Broken Egg Cafe is Cary for the first time a few months ago and absolutely loved it. I couldn't wait to go back. We chose the Raleigh location this time to avoid the Christmas shopping traffic in Cary. It was a mistake unfortunately. The service was awesome but my food wasn't. The gluten free pancake was doughy and grainy, NOTHING like the same pancake I had in Cary (fluffy, moist). The egg white omelette was completely different too despite being the same omelette. The flavor was missing, no fresh herbs as described, scant cheese (even though extra was ordered). I literally couldn't finish the one bite I took. I will give the restaurant another try, just not this location. ***Edit Addition*** My husband ordered something different than our first visit and he like his meal. He tasted my meal and noticed the difference. read more

This is the worst restaurant in the NH area. The smell as you walk in is enough to turn you around. None of the staff knows how the seating system works or what is going on. We were told to sit anywhere we like outside, there's no reservations for that area. None of the waiters knew to come by and all walked by without stopping many times. After we were moved twice, we were sat at a table that had not been cleaned off. They asked our order before we had menus then proceeded to tell us we needed to move because that table was reserved (when we had been told there were no reservations for that area). The entire facility, staff, and experience was horrid. This is a MUST SKIP!!!! read more

Expensive food with less than average quality/taste. The food we ordered took a long time and it came out cold (including a very undercooked egg ), I'd guess it sat at the window for a while before our server realized.
