Yum. Yum. Yum. I had heard of this place, and I finally had the time to try it out the weekend before Christmas. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside. We ordered the beignets to split -- so, so good! They were the best I've had in the Triangle actually! I ordered the veggie omelette. OMG. It was perfect -- especially the goat cheese! The homestyle potatoes were great too. I will be back here again and again! read more

Nothing particularly negative about this place but nothing particularly positive either. Came here with my mom, I got shrimp and grits (mediocre) and my mom got the traditional breakfast, pretty standard but the sausage was bland and a bit dry. Coffee was 2.50 each. Service was okay. read more

Sat at the bar. Had a Mardi Gras omelette. Amazing! Service awesome. Ambience comfortable. Will definitely be back. Even though customers waiting to be seated, it didn't feel crowded or cramped. read more

On of the better places for a nice breakfast. Biscuit Beignets are a must have. This is my third time here and I like any of their Signature Benedicts. read more

Everything was delicious, great service, a little pricey, not terribly high but definitely going to spend at least $10/pp without including drinks most likely which for breakfast can add up for a family. read more

Incredible post tennis match place to eat! Potatoes were perfect. Coffee was very delicious. My son had the K Edwards club sandwich which he really enjoyed. Fresh and delicious! read more

Been here many times for breakfast.. Food is different from most Breakfast places but different in a good way. Not super greasy and plenty of healthy choices on the menu. read more

Great service. Delicious food. Kept the coffee full all meal! Highly recommend! Brandon did a great job as our server there.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We went in for my nephews graduation, 8 adults and 2 kids. 4/8 adults work in the service industry so we are patient and know how things can take time sometimes. This was a horrible experience. We waited 30 minutes to get our drinks on the table and then had to ask to place our order after 45 minutes. The waiter sat at the end of the table and didn't move the entire time he took our whole table's (3 tables together) order- meaning those of us at the other end had to shout out what we wanted while others repeated the waiters questions- WTF. The service was hands down horrible. Not to mention it took another 20 minutes to get our checks brought out and another 20 minutes to get our cards back after asking 3 other waiter/waitresses. Our drinks were never refilled, and 3 meals were brought out 15 minutes after the other meals were served. My mother didn't even eat because she had to go to work after 1.5 hours of waiting and not being served her TOAST (all she ordered) which didn't come out even after the main meals were made. Also, my nephews father mentioned to the MANAGER about how we have been waiting an hour, and the managers only response was "yeah well it's because you have 10 people"......WOW!!!!!! Seriously, I will never go back to this place, and I will never recommend this place. The food was crap and over priced, and I strongly suggest not going here for a plethora of reasons listed above. Horrible. Simply horrible! read more

The experience started off positive: the menu had a great selection and our server was nice. However, the experience quickly went downhill. After our server took our order, she considered her role finished. None of us received refills: I finished my water and my husband's. No one noticed and no one was available to flag down. It toon us ten minutes to flag someone down to get the check when we were ready to go. Our children were served their meals quickly: so quickly, in fact, that they finished their food before our food even arrived. While I understand that some restaurants serve kids first, it was pretty terrible for us to just sit and watch our kids eat and for them to, in turn, sit and watch us eat. We came to eat as a family. My daughter ordered waffles, but they never brought syrup. We tried asking for syrup, but no one paid enough attention. (As noted before, our kids received their food first. When they dropped our food off, my daughter asked, but they didn't notice and left before we could repeat it.) To top it off, the food was bland and mediocre. I expected much better ingredients and quality for the price. read more

Always a good experience with great food and great service. Our go to place for brunch on Sunday

This place is great! The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Our waiter, Clayton was AWESOME! We were happy to give him a big tip for his service. I tend to be "that customer" but Clifton answered my questions with a smile and even went the extra mile as to confirm information he already knew to make sure I got what I wanted. read more

Great breakfast/brunch food. I had the oh Ricky but without the sausage and it was super. Potatoes were perfect, eggs were light and not greasy. The person I went with had bananas foster French toast. He raved about how good it was. We will be back! For those who like mimosas and bloody Mary's, they have a bar. read more

Great place for breakfast. Had the Hey Lucy! and it was a decent portion. Coffee was supurb as well as the atmosphere.

Great food, not too long of a wait, along with good service. A great place to check out if your looking for a change from your typical cafe breakfast. I really liked the amount of variety their menu offered, it seemed like they had a little something for everybody. read more

Belgian waffle bananas foster style is fantastic. High-quality bacon too. My wife got the cinnamon French toast and said it was really good as well. read more

Very good! The portions are large, I tend to share my omelette or take half of it home. And you can't go wrong with the starter of bignettes. read more

Great place! I had the black bean beni, it was yummy. Best part was the bloody Mary with their own pepper infused vodka, not too spicy.

This is one of the best breakfast places we have found in the area. Although we have only visited two times, we definitely plan on going again. There is often a wait for Sunday brunch, but the food is well worth the wait. The menu features a huge selection of Eggs Benedict. Although I have not tried all of them, the 2 that we did get were incredibly good. The eggs are served at just the right amount of done without being undercooked. The Black Bean Benedict features little cakes of deliciousness that are perfectly crispy and incredibly flavorful. On my second visit, I tried the breakfast burrito and I was not at all disappointed. It was stuffed with eggs, potatoes and chorizo which perfectly melded together for quite a tasty dish. This location is a little on the small side, as it is sandwiched into a busy shopping center, but the space available is put to excellent use. They typically offer free pastry samples and coffee for those who are waiting for their tables, which is a very nice feature when there is a long wait. Overall, this is our new go-to breakfast/brunch spot in the area because of its convenient location, amazing selection, and delicious food. read more

Leagues above IHOP. For a chain breakfast place the quality of the food is superb. Great attention to detail and very hospitable. The Lucy omelette is delicious as well as the bengiets and French toast. read more

Had the Spinach, Quinoa and Chicken salad. It was great. It was tasty, fresh and healthy. all the ingredients were extremely fresh... Chicken was cooked perfectly without being dry and the Asian glaze on the chicken was really good. It was a deconstructed type salad... I just chop everything up and mixed it altogether in the bowl. The portion was a good size..filled me up without making me feel too full. Would definitely recommend this dish for lunch or dinner. Perfect for hot summer day! read more

The service is really slow it took them 10 minutes to for them to ask what we wanted for our drinks.

Ate the eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce tasted like they poured lemon juice in it. I did my best to eat it, but im so sick and nauseous now i wish i had never eaten any of it. I went around 1ish and im guessing that my server was too busy doing his sidework to actually care about his tables...i will never go back read more

Alright just got done eating at this place. Food - 4/5 Service - 1/5 Given the high rating to this place we decided to try it out and the food was actually pretty good but get ready to wait for 30-35 mins for your food to be served (thats after you order your food, waiting time before that is additional). Plus i guess we were sitting outside in the patio so we were paid very little attention from our server while she was busy serving her other customers inside. When our food was bought to the table we asked our server for additional ranch and after waiting for another 20 mins or so i had to get up and go inside to ask for ranch again. And the same thing happend when we were done, we waited for check forever and we finally dicided to pay at the reception table. read more

I went there for the first time. Service was very efficient and friendly. Server was very helpful and flexible in regards to adjusting options from the menu. I ordered scrambled eggs but they did not really look scrambled. I do look forward to going here again in the future. read more

Went there for brunch. Unfortunately our waiter wasn't the quickest and our food came out almost cold but the manager was very friendly and resolved the issue. We will go there again in the future. read more

I've been to another broken egg cafe twice and the first I was impressed enough to want to take my friend there. The second time we called ahead for sitting and were "welcomed" by the most unfriendly person as the hostess. The service was certainly not customer service....take heed if you are looking for a warm and welcoming brunch. read more

First the positive, the biscuit beignets were excellent. Now the negatives, we order the biscuit beignets as an appetizer, however our entrée came out about 2 minutes after they were served. For our main course I had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, which was pretty good, a little soggy, would probably get the sauces on the side if I ordered again. My friend had the Lobster & Brie Omelette, which was disappointing. It did have some lobster meat but also contained some mushy mystery "seafood" filler. $15 for an lobster omelette is okay but not for a white mushy substance we could not even identify. Service was okay, no water refill and had to ask for a coffee refill, at $3 for a very small, yet cute, cup that was disappointing. read more

This place was amazing. The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. Our server was great and friendly. I was very excited to see that they are gluten friendly. There were many delicious options to choose from, but in the end I decided on a gluten free jumbo pancake (because I have not had a good pancake in a long time), I was even able to add strawberries, blackberries and blueberries to the top. The pancake was delicious, fluffy and did not have that bland gluten free taste other GF foods have. Our food also came out very quickly. Next time I will definitely be trying the egg skillet, so many options. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this place if you want some great breakfast food. read more

Great breakfast place, the wait times are long if you don't go really early. Food is always great however, the coffee isn't the best. Sometimes a bitter after taste. Recommend changing to a less bitter tasting house coffee. Maybe offer different coffee brands other than the current house type. One last downside, orange juice for kids is a little pricey. read more

Best gluten free pancakes!!! Great service. Nice to have a place with gluten free breakfast.

Another broken egg cafe is great. The French toast was amazing and huge! The staff were very attentive and were there if we needed anything. The only downfall is one meal is big enough for at least 2 people. I could've saved a lot if I had known or been told! But will still return. read more

We finally ate here last month. I had the skinny omelet and my husband had the supreme omelet. They were both delicious and the coffee was great too! We went after church on Sunday, so it was very busy but we were able to sit at the bar and get served. Good to know. Will definitely eat here again and highly recommend you try it! Great service!! read more

A great spot for Saturday morning breakfast. Bustling, but tasty. There is a nice bar if you are traveling solo. The Crab Cavello was amazing. read more

Disappointing! I went to the first one of theses a couple weeks back in Houston, and it was great! I figured this would be the same....the quality and cleanliness did not compare. Our server's short looked like she just came from an engine overhaul, and the menu literally smelled. Won't be returning. read more

This place is absolutely the worst breakfast spot in town. We were told it was a 45 minute wait and the place was 1/3 full with no one waiting outside. She hostess looked like a high space cadet, and could not verbalize why it was a such a long wait with a empty restaurant.. I will never be back.. read more

Great brunch. The wait want too bad, at the peak of brunch time, on a Sunday. Food was good, alcoholic drinks even better.

Tasted good however i went home and started having diarrhea i called the manager up and he told me you cant get food poisoning for 24hr and he read it in the osha handbook. Im an osha certified cma and called him out on that being rong and explained its the only thing ive eaten all day and he just blew it off. Would not eat there due to poor customer service and getting sick afterward. read more

This was a rather disappointing breakfast experience for our group. The Saturday morning we went, it was crowded with a waiting line which we don't usually do but we decided to stay. We waited a bit for the food and unfortunately it was served cold and had to be sent back. Two of the orders were incorrect. The servers were 'sale-sy' and the place was just disorganized. It was just unpleasant and it's pricey. I couldn't recommend it. read more

Oh. My. GOD. This place is freaking fantastic. They have the absolute best grits I have ever had in my entire life. Seriously, folks, get the city grits. Keep small children and the elderly away, because the bliss you will feel may make you physically lash out, they are THAT good. Orgasmic. When my wife and I come to the Raleigh area, we make sure to beeline straight there for the grits alone! However, that's not all. I've had virtually EVERYTHING on their menu, and it's all ridiculously good. Bacon? Thick as a plank and delicious. Sausage? Seriously the best I have eaten. My personal go-to is the Eggs Benedict with a side of bacon, sausage and city grits. Oh, and their coffee is great, too! You cannot go wrong coming to this place. read more
