We went for lunch today. So excited to have ABE in Memphis!! The only reason for 4 stars was the wait for our food. Server very friendly and food was great!!!! Hoping they are just getting all settled in. So many customers work nearby with hour lunches. Great menu choices and we will definitely go back soon! read more

Don't go do not go!!! If you go once you are hooked!! I was there three times for the three day stay in Memphis. The Eggs Benedict was the best out of them all; but the omelet was just as good as the chicken and waffle too!!! Bay far the best place to get a good breakfast and good coffee too!!! read more

service was amazing and they made my eggs and hash browns perfectly and always refilled my drink just when i needed it

Business owner: Please put up a no vaping sign outside your door. There was a woman leaning against a column just to the left of the door vaping away and you couldn't go inside without getting hit by the smoke. Unfortunately there was a line to go inside so it was intolerable. People can be so rude, but Another Broken Egg should discourage vaping outside their doors. I'm not convinced it's safe to breathe secondhand vape. As for the food, it's usually pretty good, but today scrambled eggs had a slight crust on them, so they had sat for a bit before coming to my table. The chicken sausage was too charred on one side. On a previous visit, my oatmeal was too dry. Other than this, the food has been good. My husband really liked his omelet. It would be nice though if they could do more to keep flies away when sitting outside to dine. read more

We ordered some food to go: They got one of the orders wrong which meant my wife couldn't eat anything due to a food allergy but the rest of the food was tasty. Shrimp and grits being the best. I give them 5 stars even tho they were slow on the food and messed an order up because the manager made it up by apologizing, and taking that plate off the ticket after I called in and let them know about it. He was very friendly and definitely appreciated his customer service read more

Great food restaurant great service jus a waiting list but it worth the wait join the waiting list

Meh... The food just fine. Nothing impressive. I've gone twice already because my friends like to go there, the 3rd time we left because their was an hour wait. Over all it's not somewhere I would choose to go but it's not bad either! read more

Five stars as always! Great customer focus and attention. Food was tasteful and appealing

Great food, gets extremely crowded and has long wait times. I had the Crab Cakes and Fried Green Tomatos, my family had pancakes, chicken and waffles and chicken and grits. Everyone was incredibly pleased by the food! read more

I love the upscale breakfast choices that are offered. My initial observation is that when you order shrimp and grits, you are asked if you want Gouda cheese without them telling you it's an up charge I eat Gouda quite a bit and I can cook - I think they put a 1/4 teaspoon in. Not worth the xtra charge. Most visits here have been good-customer service-wait time etc.... Not this past Friday though . food consistency was all the way off and the manager on duty was slow to understand and make adjustments- attitude . Toast was considered light bread with grill marks! Toast has a crunch!! We'll go back, but this visit got a C- read more

Coffee was a little bitter, but I cut it with milk so it wasn't too bad. They only have 'Delight' creamer. I ordered a two (instead of three) egg omelette and still had trouble finishing it. Mainly because the City grits were so good. I've never had grits so fluffy and delicious. The waiter said it was because they cook them in bacon fat. I would definitely come here again. read more

Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out and I have been wanting to eat here since it opened. I finally got a chance to have a spur of the moment "breakfast for lunch" with my husband the other day. They have tons of options and I really wish I would have been able to take leftovers with me because I wanted to try something else, but I chose The Yolk (with two sunny side up eggs, an english muffin and butter, and country potatoes) because I wanted something I thought I could eat in one sitting, especially since I didn't know how big their portions were. Well, it was pretty big, but I was able to eat it all and be stuffed afterwards. Everything was not, fresh, and very good. The service was great, fast and we were in and out in just under an hour. I can't wait to come back so I can try another one of their menu options. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - The Yolk (sunny side up eggs, English muffin, and country potatoes) - Cafes Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

Having had my first Broken Egg experience in Baton Rouge the bar for my pallette was extremely high. It was my hope that the consistency of taste would be the same across the chain. That wasn't the case, It was ok. The roux in the shrimp in grits was oily, it did not taste like butter at all it was just oil. With a taste on the back end I cannot explain. To sum it up it tasted like Memphis/Mid-south trying to cook creole food. Maybe there is something to having a native dish at a local establishment. The charm and welcoming ambience was missing as well. The attitudes from the staff was kina dry but typical Memphis. Memphis is not a city that prides itself on customer service or exudes southern charm so with that in mind the service was Memphis good. The food was just ok. I will definetly go back, but I won't order the shrimp and grits at this location. I'm looking forward to trying their pancakes. If you are tired of your standard 24h breakfast diners this is a recommended break from the monotony. But get a move on because they close at 2pm. read more

Taking one star off due to long wait for food. Our waitress is really nice, and fairly attentive. Glass were mostly filled. Our table of four took a fairly long wait to come out. The food is pretty good. Nothing special, but not bad taste either. Will have to come back because wife like breakfast food. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Tradicional. - Cafes Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

It started out promising (meaning I was warmly greeted and promptly seated at my choice of either an outdoor or indoor table) but then after waiting 10 minutes for a server to bring me a water or even greet me, I lost hope. Had to go ask where my server was and was told she left for a dentist appointment. I understand things get mixed up so I can overlook that. Coffee was good but my omelette was way overdone. Not too sure I'd come back again if in the area. read more

Great food, great service!! The wife and I got a 1/2 order of the biscuit beignets to start us off, along with a Bloody Mary. Beignets were very good, best I've had since moving to the Memphis area. We had the shrimp and grits and the crawfish bowl as our entrees and both were excellent! Will definitely be back! read more

Spoiled avocado on my sandwich! My wife loved her omelette, however. The last time I was there I would have given it five stars!

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I absolutely would. Waitlist was a life saver and saved us so much time because there was a line out the door when we arrived. Our waitress, Jamika, was beyond kind and ordered us complimentary beignets since it was our first visit. We ordered the chicken and waffles (LOVED the chipotle drizzle & the chicken was cooked to perfection), and the pumpkin waffle (that was like Fall on a plate)! We're already making plans to come back for brunch tomorrow and try the omelettes! read more

We had the shrimp and grits and a southwest scrambler. Very, very good. Definitely recommend.

This breakfast/brunch spot gets crowded pretty quick. I joined the waitlist while I was in the parking lot for a party of 3. I went in to the let hostess know I was there and was told it was about a 15 min wait, not too bad considering how crowded the place was. I ordered pancakes, bacon and sausage, along with beignets for thetable. I enjoyed it all except the beignets, I have nothing to compare them to but I was not a fan. They are doughy and thick. The pancakes were awesome and the bacon....mmmm baaacccooonn! Out waitress was very attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. We did not sit and chat, once we di ished we left so others waiting outside could enjoy what the place had to offer. I wish the place was larger to accommodate the crowd, the food is good, and the service was not too slow. Others have complained about slowservice, but we were there about 1030 and we were walking out by 1145/12. I highly recommend joining the waitlist BEFORE you get there because there WILL definitely be a wait. Next visit I will try a sandwich or perhaps an omelet. read more

This is ONLY for the Park Ave, Memphis, TN location.. I was torn between poor and average. I went with POOR to make sure it might be read. The food is above average to good. The wait staff if friendly; sometimes too friendly. I do not care for small talk about your health, etc. The space is very small, yet very clean. The wait times are CRAZY (45m - 70m easy) for what this is and what you get. The method they use for seating is atrocious; why have your name on a list if you have no intent on seating people in the order they arrive and not even close at that. We had no less than 6 groups seated before us, after we had already been waiting 50m and after being told we were 2nd on the list; when we asked for the 3rd time "how much longer" and seeing 10 - 15m walk-up get near immediate seating. They need to explore reservations. For all this hassle and manufactured wait / hype, this place and it's food should be near 5-star, and its not even close. Not even CLOSE. If you have the time to burn, great, otherwise this is a PASS. You can make almost all this stuff at home without all the hassles or find another place with quality food minus the hype and wait. Extremely disappointed. read more

Tried to have breakfast, but after an hour we never got our food. Service was slow, had to get our own coffee while we waited. Poor experience, -5 stars Ample parking, +1 star read more

Food was acceptable; but, the service was not. They got my order wrong the first time. Then, they place the wrong order on my check until I pointed it out! Just by knowing they appempted to charge me on something I didn't order, makes it unlikely for me to visit this place again. read more

We used the waitlist app so we could be in line as soon as possible. Sadly we were told 15-20 minutes because we had a party of 6. One of the people in our group was our daughter who uses a wheelchair. We waited over and hour and 10 minutes and each time we checked they said only a few minutes more. We finally left. I guess they don't serve people who use wheelchairs because they showed no interest in seating us, never apologized and we saw several groups come, get seated, eat and leave in the time we sat and waited. I hope some level of basic decency can sink in for the staff and management so they can be well less terrible in the future. read more

This place was on my list while in Memphis. scallop omelet, delish. Awesome hot sauce to add to the omelets, also available for purchase. Lobster & Brie Omelet, really good, but would have preferred it be made with larger lobster. & not those little ones that look like crayfish. read more

Tried this for the first time today with a friend. There was a long wait, which we expected. We were quoted 30-45 minutes and we waited 43 minutes. We were seated at the bar and had awesome service. Drinks and food were quick and delicious- I had the veggie omelette and a salted caramel cold brew. Will definitely be back! read more

Like this place, but the wait can be 45min on Saturday morning. In that case come seat at the bar and enjoy the twin brothers company as your bartenders. They will make you mimosa with orange, strawberry or kiwi, just ask an you shall receive! read more

I'm no breakfast person. Let me begin by saying that! For me to get up and go to this restaurant for breakfast, IT MUST BE GOOD. I love me some Benedict's. Another Broken Egg gives you various choices of the signature dish. One of my favorites is the Crabcakes Cavallo. Mmm Mmm Good! Service is great. It seemed like our server were only two or three servers but they make sure you are taken care of and you have everything you need. I would recommend eating here before noon. Once noon hits its packed and you might have a 25 min wait. read more

If you want a good breakfast and a nice place atmosphere then try broken eggs any location .

I always have the best intentions to leave a good Yelp review when it's warranted, but then days drag on and I get busy... But not today! I am leaving an immediate review because this restaurant is so exemplary. Ate there this morning, on busy Father's Day and the experience could not have been better! I usually do not like to go out to eat on holidays because of the hassle, but my husband asks so little and is such a good dad, that we decided to treat him with his absolute favorite meal to eat out -breakfast. I highly recommend getting on the waitlist on Yelp - the estimate was pretty accurate and the process went smoothly. Restaurant was packed when we arrived but our table was ready shortly thereafter. I could go into more detail, but let me sum it up by saying that EVERY employee we encountered was friendly and pleasant, as if they weren't busy as could be and not anyone appeared stressed by the crowd. The food was fantastic- we were a party of five, and had several different meals. All were appealing to look at and delicious! Portions are very generous (I brought home about half of my blueberry french toast and bacon for a family member who slept in). Coffee was rich and kept refilled (as was water). I am so happy that we made this choice today and will definitely be repeat customers read more

Absolutely fantastic breakfast! The combination seasonal Napoleon plate was AMAZING!! Delicious and filling as well ast the delicious Mimosas! Kara - our server - was absolutely phenomenal!! She was extremely polite and friendly and attentive to our needs! I HIGHLY recommend asking for her and having brunch at the Park location! We attempted to go the the Highland location first and were met with rude/unfriendly hostess giving us a 1.5 hour wait while the servers were hanging out chatting and doing nothing. We decided to try the Park location and were seated within 5 minutes of walking in by a friendly and smiley hostess! I HIGHLY suggest visiting this location!! I even witnessed Management folding napkins with the servers to help them and coaching them on the proper way to fold - kudos to the Manager!! We do not dine out frequently due to the lackluster service in Memphis. However, the service here is top notch and we will make this a frequent brunch spot!! read more

Went to breakfast with my boyfriend and he and I were both very pleased! The food was great and fast. I love breakfast food and the variety and selection were great. I went with the traditional breakfast though and the portion size was perfect. The service was the best part though. Every single employee was smiling even though it was early. Even other servers and the greeters were pitching in and serving us. They have the nicest staff! He and I will definitely be back in the future. read more

Great staff. Good food. George (the owner) came by the table to help us feel comfortable. My only (very small) complaint was that they put syrup on my pancake. I'm pretty calorie conscious so prefer to do it myself. All-in-all a great place for breakfast! read more

FINALLY! A place that specializes in breakfast and brunch and knows how to do it! Great atmosphere and food here. Nice patio though not very scenic but didn't bother us! I had the Black Bean Benedict and it was awesome! Coffee was good - not the best I've ever had but good. Service, well, they're new and trying, and that's enough for me to give it another chance in that area. We will back and we will bring friends and family and we will tell everyone! read more

Truly grateful to find this gem! We had an amazing waiter that was attentive and very friendly! The menu was expansive and everything sounded yummy! When we did order, the food arrived quickly and was amazing! I had the homestyle pancakes, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. Last few visits everything taste like salt: eggs, hash browns, toast. Everything. I gave it more chances but I think the food is just nasty now and that's the most important factor to me...tasty food. The juice tasted good though but I could've poured me some good juice at home. I won't be back here in the foreseeable future. read more
