This place is great! Warning!!! Make sure to make a reservation because it gets pretty crowded on the weekends and we had a 25 minute wait. Our waitress Grace took good care of us. They have the Best Grits I've ever tasted! Definitely going back! read more

Since this is just down the street from me and ha just opened up, I needed to try them out for lunch. We were seated quickly, all the servers seemed very busy although there was only a handful of t ables full inside and one outside. We sat and were handed very large menus. The server had to come back 3 times because, it took so long to look over everything. They have a variety of your normal breakfast foods; omelets, french toast, waffles, eggs and sausage, oatmeals, etc. Then they have a signature section, with more fancy breakfast stuff; burritos, southwest style breakfast, stuff like that. The back page has a sandwich, burger and another signature section, and theres a separate skinny menu for specials. It was a bit of an overload, and I felt like the waitress was rushing me. Anyhow I went for Nellies delight and my friend had a burger. My sandwich was a ciabatta roll with lettuce, tomato, american cheese, bacon, and grill chicken with balsamic glaze. The accompanying side was homestyle seasoned potatoes. So for the sandwich, the chicken was great, but the cheese ruined it, it made it rubbery and gloopy all at once. The potatoes were just cubed potatoes, serious lack of "seasoning". My friends burger looked great but he said it was lacking in flavor and he was victimized by the same side of potatoes. Overall I think that its a Denny's trying to be a Panera, and the items on the menu could be dropped by $1-$2 at least, there really isn't anything under $10, even a super small glass of juice is $2.99. Lastly the service. I didn't realize that it closed at 2pm until I checked in on Yelp. We arrived at 1:45ish and no-one mentioned this, which is fair enough, but we did have this impending rush placed on us from the minute we got in. We were pressured to order, food came fast, then the waitress tried to take our plates several times while we were still eating, then she dropped the check at the table and said "no rush", but we were still eating? She then dropped a box off at the table, assuming we would be taking half our sandwiches. So we were out of there by 2:25, ushered by bussers clearing tables, and our waitress practically pushing us out the door. So yeah, I feel I paid too much for subpar food, rushed service and a fast food experience. read more

First time here. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were seasoned very well. Kinda gave a New Orleans taste. My friend ordered the veggie omelet with home fries and a English muffin. We also had mimosas which weren't bottomless which sucks but it was very refreshing. We waited about 45 minutes to be seated. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Shrimp and grits were seasoned very well. Kinda gave a New Orleans taste. The wait was a long as we waited about 45 minutes to be seated. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

Any new breakfast place in Delray will get my visit, just because I love breakfast/brunch, and it's such a great way to start any weekend day! Another Broken Egg is just like any other chain breakfast place though. There was nothing special about it, and the focus is not on the service or the food. The focus is on the portion size. Floors were dirty, servers were young and inexperienced and rushing around, spilling half-full glasses on the floor and on tables. Yuck. Just not a good experience, but not terrible either. My husband and I sat outside, where well-behaved dogs are allowed. There were a couple of cute dogs there, and boy am I a sucker for stopping to say hello to any pooch I see! This was probably the highlight of the meal! I ordered the Hey Lucy omelette with no meat. Our server (who was sweating profusely, yet it was quite a cool morning) asked if I'd prefer tomatoes instead of the potatoes that come with the meal, and I excitedly said, "Yes!" Fast forward -- Food arrives with potatoes. Yuck. Not worth my time to send it back. My husband will eat them. The omelette itself was fine but the sour cream and salsa were brought in plastic to-go containers. This cheapens the whole experience. What a waste. Why not scoop the condiments on my plate/meal since they were to come with my entree? Oh, one more thing - The mimosa (yes, they have alcohol) was prepared well, but TINY! I'm spending far too much time on a sub-par experience. You get the gist. Come here if you want typical American food with large portions, and the quality of the experience really doesn't matter. read more

The eggs and the pancakes were amazing! Will definitely come back the staff were very nice and courteous.

Curious to try this place, so today was the day. Nicely tucked behind Trader Joe's, we quickly found seating outside. Table was a little unstable, need to fix that. I ordered two eggs over , came with English muffin and potatoes. Hubby ordered an omelette, multi grain toast and grits. When the food arrived, my eggs were closer to poached than over, husband's omelette cold, as was his toast. Not only did they heat things up, but made my eggs again, with all new ingredients. Classy. Everything tasted great, terrific breakfast.. ( they might want to fork split the English muffins, much better that way). As if that was not enough, there was a great discount applied to our bill. We will return, do try this place. Nice addition to the area. read more

I ordered delivery from here through DoorDash on a Saturday morning, their website states they close at 2:30pm. An hour and a half later, as the dasher is waiting at the restaurant, they cancel the order and DoorDash states they are "closed." I called the place and although I could not get anyone on the phone, their automated system stated they were open. I don't care how busy you are, if you have an order for an hour and a half with the poor delivery person there waiting, you fulfill that simple two item order. Plus with covid, aren't you supposed to be limited capacity anyways? I will never order from here or go here again. Thanks for wasting our time. read more

If you want an amazing breakfast then this is the place. I have minimal complaints about my experience here, so I chose to have it four stars. The delray beach location is a little bit unorganized (I think it's because it's fairly new) and when I ordered a beer it came to me warm, in this summer heat; warm beer is never a good thing. Despite my minor qualms with the establishment, I've found myself here over 5 times and I ordered something different each time. IT WAS ALWAYS GOOD. Go here. Don't think, just do. P.S. Be prepared for a wait. read more

My friend and I were heading to Einstein Bagels which is around the corner from A.B.E. when we noticed A.B.E. We decided to try it and iam really happy we did. They have healthy choices. First visit I had the granola with fruit and quinoa. Big serving and it was very good. My friend had the banana foster waffles which she loved. When I went back I had the best sweet potato pancake topped with marmalade infused syrup and pecans. It was a delicious jumbo pancake . I consider this the best breakfast/ brunch café in Delray beach. read more

I've been here about 5 times and always had a good meal. It's a bit different than most breakfast places. The last time I was there I paid in cash. The bill was 26.65. The server took my cash and gave me change for 27.00 dollars. She kept the change for herself. I know it's only 35 cents but it's my 35 cents. She should have given it to me. I was going to say something but was in a rush and couldn't find her so it reflected in her tip. I usually give 30% on a small bill like this but only gave her 15%. I felt sort of robbed. It won't happen again. I'll pay with credit. Has anyone else had this happen at this place? read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

Regularly eating breakfast at restaurants in Boca/Delray area presents many challenges, but Another Broken Egg resulted in a breath of relief and satisfaction. A new restaurant in Delray Beach, Another Broken Egg Restaurant EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS. The atmosphere was upscale yet casual. I felt that I was at the breakfast wing of a Palm Beach mansion. Colorful, clean and without the clutter of overt decoration that ail other restaurants, Broken Egg provided a very leisure and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast menu provided delicious varieties of excellent choices - simple and yet varied, I opted for the two-egg, home fries and English muffin delight. I had no idea that one could order scrambled eggs with light, medium or heavy grade wellness options! The cinammon roll was outstanding. The coffee is delicious and well brewed. And the pricing: incredibly reasonable considering the atmosphere. Not least to rave about was the EXCELLENT SERVICE! Friendly, jovial and not overly obsequious, we were treated to very professional servers who made us feel that they were HAPPY working at the restaurant. Breakfast at Another Broken Egg was a truly superb dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any breakfast connoisseur. And better yet, I glanced at their lunch menu: I cannot wait to return to experience what I expect to become another lunchtime culinary delight! Definitely Five stars!!!! read more

Just this morning we were the first people in the door at 7:15 after an hour walk/jog. I was with my wife and 4 month old Max (super cute....both of them). Upon walking in we were told we couldn't have the baby at a booth, it violates the fire codes. Again...there was no one there. We took a table out of the way so in case of an explosion, the people (that were not there) could exit the restaurant from the rear in an orderly fashion so they would not be burned alive. The stroller was still in the way...but at the rear of the establishment...that way all the other patrons could escape the fire and my family would burn thus learning our first lesson of the day. Lesson being: Another Broken Egg Cafe does not care about children. We ordered an egg white omelette with cheese with a side of bacon and my wife ordered an omelette that had cream cheese and crab meat. This was at 7:20. It was the waitress' birthday and she really enjoyed our baby....Max is super cute! Then she disappeared for 20 minutes. During that time we asked the Male waiter (who came out of the bathroom behind us) for Strawberry Jam as there was only Grape. There was only 2 tiny packets of Strawberry Jam in the whole place and he told us the Strawberry Jam order hadn't come in. I sensed some Jam Conspiracy...but decided to keep that to myself. Our child started to cry as he was hungry...you would be hungry too after waiting over half hour for eggs. He then dined on some high-quality breast milk, served luke-warm...while in a reclining position. Finally At 7:53 our breakfast came (sans bacon)....after 2 other tables that were already eating eggs and oatmeal. The crabmeat looked like low-grade cat food and it was cold. The egg white omelette was served scrambled, cold and on a side plate....but the best part of the meal was that the "egg omelette" was hanging over the side of the plate and actually sitting partly on the table. We declined to eat our food and the manager Harry Yambo (very nice) came out and apologized for the issue and said "I was helping unload a truck so I didn't have any eye on the kitchen." The waitress said she was telling the kitchen to hurry up. Were they cooking ever so slowly to avoid a grease fire....thus becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy and burning us alive? So then we had a few questions..... 1. Why wasn't the manager (who managed the situation nicely) sweating if he was helping unload a truck? 2. Why must he "keep an eye" on the kitchen? There were 2 people in there..AND IT'S EGGS...in a breakfast establishment. 3. Why did the cook get an order sometime around 7:20 and not even start cooking until 7:45? 4. Why was the crab meat brown? 5. Why would the waitress (again...VERY NICE) disappear for 20 minutes? Was she celebrating her 26th birthday by counting the newly delivered eggs....by a 26 count? 6. What was the other waiter doing in the men's bathroom for 18 minutes? 7. Should we have listened to our Son's first words "Don't eat here"? 8. We were asked to come back for a free meal by Henry.....WHY? Please....help us understand this whirling dervish of a restaurant who couldn't even tempt a new breast-feeding Mother that hadn't eaten since 6 PM the day before, to even look at that food more than once? Not so much for the Another Broken Dream Cafe. If there were a negative stars option I would have chosen that one....since not they win the prize with 1 STAR. - A Father, his Wife and newborn child. read more

Was very impressed by Another Broken Egg cafe. After driving passed this restaurant multiple times, we finally decided to check it out and I am so happy we did. It was very clean and had an inviting atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly, especially our server Jack. We ordered the 1/2 order of biscuit beignets which were so good. We also had the bacqueso omelette with potatoes and the huevos rancheros to which we added chorizo and had with a side of the city grits - all of which was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

So disappointing!!! We jus moved to the area and were excited about this local breakfast place. So we gave it a try on our first weekend, and it for sure was our last one. For starters, take a look at the kitchen. It is so dirty with food and garbage on a greased floor (see pic). Then you ask if the OJ is fresh squeezed (of course, meaning the squeeze to order), and the "trained" waitress answer yes and then brings you a bottled OJ that has been manufactured days/weeks ago with the label "fresh squeezed". Yes right, it was fresher squeezed but like a week ago and added conservatives. It tasted horrible too. My wife asked for hot chocolate, and bar waitress opens a pre made chocolate milk (exactly the same you get at the market). The food was tasteless, bread wasn't even toasted and tasted like microwave food. If you are looking for an authentic fresh made breakfast go somewhere else. read more

This is our first visit. We purposely chose a weekday at about 10AM. Ideal. Not busy. We'll be back. Christian who doubles behind the bar touched base immediately after we were seated. Uncomplicated order. Spouse received as ordered most popular dish: seasoned scrambled eggs, spot on, country seasoned potatoes (rated "B") and one English muffin (A+). I enjoyed the full plate sized sweet potato pancake seasoned perfectly. I added house syrup for the second half. GM Harry Yambo (not a coincidence - YAMbo) Jr. introduced himself. Nice touch. Christian allowed as how, the place is jammed weekends.http://katchkats.com/steveqshannon read more

It is always nice going out for brunch. It was a nice change of pace to go to a brunch place in Florida. The food waiter was friendly but the food was just ok. I had the fried dough which was heavenly. However the cinnamon French toast and eggs Benedict were so so. They drenched the French toast in maple syrup and the fruit on top was mushy. The eggs Benedict was alright, not too much flavor and it came out cold. The potatoes in the side were better. I was in a party of five so I have a feeling the eggs were just waiting for the other food to be finished. It was a nice atmosphere but don't except excellent food. I say try it was worth trying for a different atmosphere but don't except too much. read more

Poor service. We waited 1 hour to get our food but people who came after us got served between 15-20 mins before we received our food. When our food came it was barely warm and my order was incorrect. Thank God my friend shared her barely warm eggs and slice of bacon... or I would have left hungry. Will not go back. read more

Positives: it's a beautiful restaurant with nice staff. My friend ordered a veggie scramble. It was good. The potatoes were overdone and tasteless. I ordered eggs Benedict ( the one with tomatoes ). I sent the first one back as it had raw egg. The manager brought out the replacement meal. Someone in the kitchen needs to learn how to prepare poached eggs. They were deposited onto mushy tomatoes before being drained. Needless to say, not good. Our mugs of coffee were never refilled. 3 stars is probably a generous review. read more

Normally a big fan of this place!! Checked in online this morning and was told 75 minute wait or so and to show up around 12:30 which we did. Waited and waited and waited and went in to see how much longer. Young gentleman was nice and apologized and said "sorry our computer is giving out bad times" which I completely understood. Young lady (believe her name was Michelle) had such an attitude and first told me to go somewhere else to eat and then said "why don't you just go home and make your own eggs??" To which I responded "why don't you lose your attitude!". My advice to management, FIRE HER.........she is a disgruntled employee!! read more

Waitress of the year "Chelsea"‼ I go to another broken egg almost every Sunday and there are several reasons. First and foremost the service is exceptional! We always do our best to get into Chelsea's section if we can. Her warm, friendly, and happy energy immediately sets the tone for a great dinning experience. She always makes us feel at home and makes sure everything is perfect for us. The food is amazing! It's really hard to mess up eggs, and yet, here we are. The lite egg omelette fell apart and relies too heavily on goat cheese (fat). The herbs in the egg white were way too heavy and low grade dried, not a quality fresh or quality dried. The menu is fat fat fat and a little booze to chase it down. Atmosphere was nice for a star, Service was excellent, so they pick up another star for that. Kitchen puts out lifeless small chain food and it shows. read more
