The host tried to refuse me service with my guide dog twice. Had to speak to the manager about it. The food ended up being tasty.

Went to Easton this morning for breakfast for my first day of retirement. We were seated quickly and the server came to take our order. The server was also the bartender and I asked about the spicy bloody Mary and she stated she had never had it so she could not say if it was good, I should have known from her response I probably should have passed but it was a special day for me. When it arrived it looked good with celery, bacon and okra as garnish, but the taste was spice, vodka and nothing. The so called house made Bloody Mary mix had no taste whatsoever, it tasted like water. When the server came back I let her know the drink was not good and all she said was "sorry" and walked away, no offer of choosing something else. The Blackstone Benedict was ok, but I will not be back. I left a full drink on the table and will go elsewhere in the future. read more

Coffee was the worst ever. Basically water with some coffee color where you could see the bottom of the pottery cup and was boiling hot. Coffee is not to be boiling and you certainly should not see the bottom of the cup. Unfortunately, waitress saw our cups full when she came back with a pot and didn't bother to ask why after 30 minutes the cups were still full, just dropped the bill. Food was good - only reason for a 2 - however all the capers, red onions and scallions fell off the bagel with nothing to attach to - its more of a visual than something to enjoy. Made a mess of the plate and the experience. Finally music was so loud i had to yell to speak with the person sitting across from me. All in all - never will go there again. read more

Great ambiance, but that's about it. The food is very basic. I'm a huge breakfast guy and there are plenty of other spots that have way better breakfast in Columbus. I had the worst Huevos Rancheros ever. The chicken and waffles my wife ordered were just that; chicken tenders on top of a waffle that you typically get at a hotel. My Bloody Mary was good but over priced. I left with a $65 hit to my pocket book and was not satisfied at all. Even after having to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Sorry. But not worthy of a #2 spot on Yelp. read more

I guess the cook felt because it was a take out order already paid for it was ok to give me what they wanted me to have instead of what I ordered. The insulting part was the fact that the receipt stapled to the bag displayed in red font the correct order! But my loss right since they have my money already. I will not return and do not recommend! This would make my second visit and honestly the food lacks seasoning and is overpriced in my opinion. In retrospect I suggest you open your stapled bag and check your food before heading out of the restaurant especially with regards to any special request, eggs, or any utensils/condiments fyi. read more

went in to eat and was told we'd have a 35 min wait. we waited an hour and noticed people who had come in after us were being seated. I let this happen 3 times before asking the host if we had been taken off the waitlist. she couldn't find my name or number initially, and then she asked for my info again and said we had another 6 mins left. another couple came in and got seated immediately. I mentioned this to the host and she did not have much to say. we waited another 10 mins and another group of people came in, they were seated within a few mins. we decided to leave due to the lack of respect and dishonesty from the host. I understand mistakes happen, but this wasn't even apologized for or tried to make right. after leaving, there were about 5 mins til I got a text the table was ready. they allotted us 3 mins to come back before they moved on to the next person. won't be back! read more

Staff was nice and apologetic. Per management, the roach issue has been on- going and pest control was called back yesterday to spray but may also need to tent/fog the restaurant. Long story short, do not eat here unless you're willing to bring unwanted guests home. #roach read more

Amazing breakfasts with GF options!!! It's crowded but worth the wait if you can get a seat!!!

I came into Columbus early on a Saturday morning to pick up some friends at the airport (two separate flights), and wanted to grab a quick breakfast with one friend before the second friend's flight came in, and figured SOMEPLACE in nearby Easton would be our best choice before heading back to the airport. Without a ton of time to "explore," we lucked out and found this place AND hit the lottery and got a table right away... Score!! A huge, really tempting breakfast/brunch menu, a large, yet cozy dining area, and friendly, attentive service awaited. My friend had the eggs benedict, I had "seasonal" fennel sausage and cheese omelet. Both of us opted for the "special" roast coffee but would have been equally happy with their standard roast. Soon after we arrived, they were pretty well slammed, but apart from getting the check from the table next to our vs. our own (sticker shock!!) we got great service, including coffee refills. They're pricier than what I might normally expect to pay for breakfast, but that's to be expected at Easton. We have a location in the Dayton area, which I'd be happy to try as well if I'm in the area... HOPEFULLY, I'll get just as lucky as we did and not have a HUGE wait for a table!! read more

Angela was phenomenal! The service was great, the conversation was entertaining. She shared care and compassion for customers and found ways to relate. Oh how the heart yearns upon the broken egg Café in the midst of the day of high noon on a Wednesday in May. As the Sun doth crest on the horizon, three wolves entered the establishment and our server, Chancey, fought off each and everyone of them single handedly. Chancey was the best server I could've ever asked for in this docile world of ours. Upon entry, one is greeted by a panorama of unparallel beauty. The trees out front: meticulously tended, burst forth with flora of every hue and fragrance. Each branch, a testament to natures artistry. The air, sweet and crisp, carries with it the gentle melodies of bird in harmonious chorus: a serenade to greet the dawn. read more

Summary- Loud, pricey, good service, great varieties, well prepared food, long wait times. Our first visit was on a Sunday morning at 9am. We used the online waitlist (see pic) to see 15-25min wait. Upon arriving we were immediately found on hostess list and seated promptly. Tables are close. Place was clean. Restroom also a bit small but clean. We Yelp checked in on the free wifi(see pic). Our friendly server greeted us with glasses of water, and suggested some house cocktails (see pic). We ordered a 2 pancake item (see pic) from the Indulgence menu, while we perused the menu. We started to notice how loud (see pic) it was, and changed seats closer together so we could speak. The carrot cake pancakes were very delicious and not in need of syrup. After a long wait, and asking about others being served around us, our food arrived. The crab cakes (see pic) had a strong seafood smell and large amounts of crab without all the filler. Poached eggs were perfect, and the muffins were toasted great. I found the flavor a bit bland, and notice other patrons using the salt and peppers. I tried out the house pepper (see pic) sauce and found it a bit too sweet for my liking. I upgraded my grits side to the house recipe City Grits (see pic) with tomato, bacon and green onion. You know I made this meal better with Fire Dust flavor. Price was a bit high for the community. More in line with Hotel dining. I now know everything to expect, and will return to sample other items around the menu. My wife found her entree to be very Keto friendly. read more

I've heard good things about Another Broken Egg, so a friend and I went early on a friday- needless to say it was already packed. The wait was not very long, 15-20 mins for two. Ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, and my friend had the pound cake french toast First off, the presentation EYE was not sure EYE would like the french toast- it is a lot going on (see picture). However it was good, sweet, but good. The eggs and sausage were really good. The potatoes could be ALOT better. Pretty sure they come out of a bag, there are no onions, peppers or "seasoning" outside of what is them. Not sure why they're called "fresh" country potatoes friend enjoyed the pound cake french toast and like me she was not satisfied with the potatoes ‍ I'll definitely go back, the location is in a busy area of Easton (or are all areas of Easton busy?! -rhetorical) just remember to pack your patience if visiting during high volume times. read more

65+ dollars on a cold + wrong order + missing items I must say I was very disappointed with my experience with this establishment. I had high hopes because my wife and I have been to one in Florida whenever we would go to Greyton beach, and she loves the one down there. So I was excited to go and get a meal from here to brighten her day. After spending $65.00+ on my order, I was upset. I'm not feeling well do sitting in a restaurant was out of the question for me. I placed a pick-up order, and they told me it would be ready in 35 minutes. I ordered a skinny omelet sub the fruit with potatoes, the bacon burger, the kid's waffle, a waffle with toast, and the chicken and waffles. I showed up at the crowded restaurant within 30 minutes only to be told my food had 20 minutes to go. I went back to my car to wait but decided to go back at the 7-minute mark. I made my way to the front of the hostess stand and tried to get the hostess attention to get a gauge on when I would receive my order; after about 5 minutes of standing right in front of the hostess; she instructed a server to hand me my order that had been sitting up there for quite some time. Our food was ice cold, but I didn't have the time to ask for a redo due to my being sick. Once we got home to eat our food, that was when we realized that our orders were wrong. Instead of getting the skinny omelet, we got the Monterey omelet. Instead of getting the potatoes, we got the fruit. We also did not get the milk that came with the kid's meal, and there was no bacon on my bacon cheeseburger. When the person taking the order over the phone repeated the order back, she repeated everything right, so I didn't know what happened from there. read more

Let's start with the ambiance. It is packed so definitely use the online waitline to safe some time. It is loud and people have no room to wait so if you unlucky and seated near the entrance people will stand next to you. Makes it very uncomfortable. Service was ok nothing great but fast and efficient. Food. Oh boy. Well I had the crab cake egg Benedict and eggs were overcooked, English muffin was mush under all the crabcake. Crabcake was truly not good. It was dry so it fell apart. Hollandaise Sauce was ok but overpowered the crabcake. Same for the large amount of green onions on it. Overall just not a good dish. Chocolate pancakes was nothing special Bacon was overcooked to the point it was just crisp. Very disappointed and we gave it now 3 times a try and every time we was not impressed for the price and the hype. Better off going to first watch! read more

I was super excited to eat breakfast here because the menu looked so intriguing. So many options and a great drink menu. I thought the drinks were a little pricey so I chose cranberry juice instead. I ordered the Sunrise Spinach Sampler with a side of grits to keep it simple, 40 long minutes later I received my meal. I was irritated as the place was not packed, then had to wait another 4 minutes for silverware. The omelette seemed not done, they forgot my grits so I cancelled them. The potatoes were really good. That's all I can say. Not impressed. read more

Went on Sunday around noon, had already put our names on the waitlist and arrived about 40mins after doing so. Still had about a 30 min wait. Definitely busy, that's for sure, so plan to join waitlist ahead if you go ! Although I'm a patient person, and expected some delay for being so busy... we were there for at least 2 hours total and not because we wanted to be. Multiple tables had their meals before us, we never recd the beignets, and had to flag them down to get our check to finally leave. Of course they were pleasant and removed the beignets from the bill without hesitation (thank you). Service aside, the meal was unfortunately also disappointing. I did get a Bloody Mary and thankfully it was pretty solid. However, I had the traditional eggs Benedict and my poached eggs were over cooked and the hollandaise was lacking in taste and qty. Kind of the reason I ordered the dish was for the traditionally 'runny' eggs and the sauce... ! The highlight was the side of fruit, biggest blackberries I have ever seen, along with some delicious mango and blueberries. I live close by and love a good brunch - but sadly will think twice about returning :( read more

I HATED this restaurant. because I got food poisoning.and the wait time took soooooo long

I am really undecided on this place. The food is fresh and I love that they offer GF options, but the wait was ridiculous even with doing the call ahead. It definitely was not truthful; quoted 55-65 minutes for 6 people and ended up waiting a little shy of 2 hours. Once we were seated and ordered our drinks we waited over 10 minutes for water and coffee. Our waitress did state she was new, so maybe that had something to do with it? She was really nice though! My son ordered the kids chocolate chip pancakes, which came without the chocolate chips, chocolate syrup or whip cream. My daughter ordered the waffles, which came without the whip cream and powdered sugar. We also didn't get their yogurts or refills on their waters. BONUS the potatoes are really good! I would possibly give this place another try maybe during the week when it's not so crazy only because the food did seem so fresh and they had a lot of creative options that looked tasty. Or maybe even try another location. read more

**Official 3.5/5 Rating** It was my first time visiting this restaurant over the weekend and I was a little disappointed. I'll start with the good parts, the waitlist option is really nice. The time was pretty accurate and we were seating within 5 minutes of the quoted time. However, that's kind of where the excellent part of the visit ended. We were seated on the patio, which was nice, but the chairs are immensely uncomfortable. In addition, the person that was supposed to wait our table didn't show up and we were served by someone from another section. As for the food, I ordered the Traditional Day Starter which came with eggs, breakfast meat, a bread, and grits. I also opted to add the pancakes to this meal as well. The eggs lacked seasoning, for me, and the toast came un-buttered. However, the bacon and grits were both good. The ultimate disappointment was the size of the pancakes, for the price they could have been more substantial. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it won't be a first choice for me. read more

No STARS. I visited the location last summer. Had a terrible experience and so I wrote my review. The manger reached out and even sent me a personal message. Asked for my address to send me a gift card so that I will return and "hopefully " right a better review.... Wellll I never did receive that gift card. It's safe to say they put ANOTHER bad taste in my mouth. I won't be returning nor will I be referring others to the restaurant. read more

Ive been here a few times and I find some food is good and some food is just ok or not worth ordering again. But I have found the the waiting staff is ok also at best. What bothered me was I had finished my food, paid and just simply needed a to go cup. My waitress was gone at this point so I simply asked another girl. It took about10 minutes. In that time I watched her go to the back right behind the door of the kitchen sit on her phone for 10 minutes then look back at me who was staring at her still waiting... she ran back in and brought me a box... where of course i then said... can I please have a to go cup.. her response "ill get your waitress for that". I'm just stunned by the level people devalue just working and detaching yourself and the lack of professionalism. But I guess this is food service now read more

Arrived for breakfast and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. We were able to snag a couple seats at the bar after waiting 10 minutes so we stayed. Both of us got sausage gravy and biscuits and we got a side order of Bourbon pancakes to share. Pancakes were amazing but the biscuits and gravy were not. Biscuits were so hard we had to cut with a knife and effort. I have never met a gravy & biscuits I didn't like until today. Sausage patty's had a very different flavor also. We tried several food items on the menu and they were amazing! We got a picture of the lemon blueberry margarita and OMG I call this drink the juice of life. Delicious food and good service. The staff was nice. The menu is diverse. The seating isn't cramped.

The service was great from Jasmine but unfortunately our food was not. We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving (we did use the join waitlist feature online). We had a 45 minute wait for our food. The establishment was not busy when we arrived (although when we left a line was forming outside the door). It appeared that the to-go and carry out orders were being prioritized. Most of the tables around us also did not have food either. The kitchen must have been backed up. Unfortunately my English muffins were cold. The homestyle potatoes were also cold and served in a very small portion. Our server, Jasmine, was gracious to bring out another order of potatoes as the order was small. That extra order was cold as well. The omelette I ordered was warm, not hot or cold, and was decent. My wife's French toast was good overall. I honestly don't think I will be returning. I could spend a bit more and get a better meal at Northstar Cafe if I am honest. read more

First time visiting this place for a weekend brunch. You will want to plan ahead because this place is BUSY at brunch time! It was really easy to get on the waitlist through their website. I thought this place cozy and welcoming. The servers were really kind and helpful in terms of navigating the menu. They helped me choose an entree and I was not disappointed! I had an egg and chicken sandwich and it was so delicious! I asked for a side of fruit instead of breakfast potatoes and I thought the fruit was pretty good. My boyfriend ordered an omelet with a side of home fries, and his meal was bomb as well. My only issue was that I felt the tables were so close together that we were right on top of one another. Kept bumping into the people at the table beside ours. I would come back to this restaurant again and would recommend it to others. read more

It's a rainy Sunday so we decided to order in for breakfast. Ordered the shrimp and grits, and the chicken and waffles. Shrimp and Grits: Barely any shrimp, counted exactly five pieces of mini shrimp. There is more andouille sausage than anything, which is really disappointing. This order is supposed to come with garlic ciabatta; instead of it being on the side, it was put in the grits and was completely soggy but the time it arrived. The packing of this was horrible! They put the grits in a paper box, which had begun to soak through. The paper started to disintegrate and I had to be careful it to eat the paper. Overall the flavor was okay. Chicken and Waffles: Not delicious. This is a staple brunch food and many other places have found inventive ways to make this dish unique. Here, this dish is subpar and non-exciting. The chicken tastes like it was made in-house, but it isn't that flavorful. The chicken did have a slight crispiness which was nice, but the lack of portion was maddening. Waffle was underwhelming, decent but it could be Krusteaz waffle mix for all I know. They poured syrup on the waffle which is not a good idea for takeout in the first place-- but they didn't even put syrup over the entire waffle, just half. Why would they do that??? Would not order again, not worth $20. Final Notes: Ordering here for delivery is not a good idea, the packaging is horrible which takes away from the integrity of the food! So disappointing!! I'm not compelled to try this restaurant in person. read more
