I got the supreme omelette that had bacon, sausage, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese and I opted for a side of grits. The omelette was tasty and they did not skimp out on the toppings. I also enjoyed the grits and used some Texas Pete to spice it up. There is a free parking structure across the street which makes things convenient. Went here on a Saturday around 1PM and only waited 10 minutes to be seated. The customer service was fantastic. They were so energetic and were so easy to talk to. I parked on the streets and I believe they had a two hours limit there. As for the food, I tried Mardi Gras Omelette and Crab Cake Benedict. The omelette was good. They had a lot of the ingredients in it, however, I wish they added a bit more egg since it was a bit thin. The potatoes tasted like every other place. The only comment I have about that is for it to be a bit more crispy. They do make their own sauces so I recommend requesting to try it. For the Benedict, I actually wasn't a fan of it. I just thought it was okay. The crab flavor wasn't as strong. It had a distinct flavor which I thought took away the goodness of the crab itself. Other than that, you can tell that it is blended very well. For the grits, they were great. I didn't taste too much of the cheese and I thought the bacon added a great bite to it. We get breakfast here occasionally. We enjoy coming and the food is usually good. Service is efficient and the restaurant itself is clean. I do feel the portion size is a bit small for the price, but overall it's a good breakfast spot in Burbank! I love the custom mugs they have too! They throw on 18% gratuity for any bill over $100 and dishes range from $15-$20 plus your drink so ends up being almost equivalent to the 18% restaurants add for groups of 6 or more. They have a bar which at 10 am was surprisingly full when we arrived. We waited about 5 min to be seated. I had the Crab Cake Benedict, it was super lemony and at first I thought it was the hollandaise but it ended up being the crab cake, eggs were cooked perfectly. Coffee was yummy! They always checked if I needed a refill. My 9 yo got the traditional french toast which could probably feed 3 9yo's, her scrambled eggs were yummy and the bacon was perfectly crisp. I had to add on a side of grits because you dont see them often on a menu and they did not disappoint... probably the best grits ive had in this area. Smooth and delish! Our bill for 2 (one being a child) was $57 and then I tipped a very generous tip. Like I said in the beginning overpriced for breakfast (IMO). I knew going in I was going to have a big bill so I never hold that against the restaurant when I review. We walked there from the Tesla dealership and if you have time the downtown shopping area is right around the corner. This place was recommended to us so we decided to stop in for breakfast. There is a parking garage close to the restaurant. There is outdoor patio seating as well as inside. The inside is very pretty, and the staff we encountered all were amazing! I ordered The Sunrise Spinach Scrambler, grits and a side of pancakes. The scrambler consisted of eggs, spinach, onion, bacon and cheese. It was really good. My grits were creamy and cooked perfectly. The pancakes, so light fluffy and melted in the mouth seriously I think they were the best pancakes I've ever had. My husband had The Southwest Scrambler consisted of green Chile, chorizo, cheese, onion and tomato. It came with a tortilla, salsa , guacamole and a side of potatoes. He enjoyed it. My son had chicken and waffles. He said the chicken was crispy and had good flavor. The waffle was fluffy and he liked it a lot. He had ordered and apple juice and let me just say that he took one drink and was telling us you gotta try this apple juice and it was delicious! 100% pure pressed and it's very true! My mom ordered the classic bacon burger and we were all saying WOW because of the size of the patty. Huge! She really liked it as well. My dad ordered The Hey Lucy and he said it was really good, the chorizo is an in house made chorizo. We were also with 2 others in our party but I didn't take pictures of their plates. I am a breakfast junkie. Always looking for a new breakfast/brunch spot to try out. After a short hiatus from Another Broken Egg, I noticed that the menu is not the same. Was looking to order my favorite corned beef hash item on the menu and didn't see it. Our waiter informed us that the breakfast/brunch menu changes every now and then (3 months). So something you love/like on the menu might not be available when they rotate the menu selections every few months or so - bummer. The food here is presented nicely, but for me something is missing... The breakfast offerings here remind me of "mid-tier hotel" style breakfast. Not bad, not great, kinda generic tasting (ex: overcooked or pre-made, uniformed). Then again, taste is subjective. This place seems to be a popular spot in Burbank. The menu is smaller here and has some interesting Louisiana twist, but mostly all American classics... good news is they serve cocktails here if you want to drink up breakfast instead of eat, lol. Came for the lobster grits specialty menu item (which is great). Item was just removed, so got the crab cake Benedict and grits. Grits were amazing as usual but a No Go for those crab cakes. Yuck. Had a very pleasant breakfast here. Was looking for a good place with a nice patio to eat at to be covid safe and found this place where the patio is large! The food was really good and the menu was big enough that there is something for everyone. The pancakes were super soft and fluffy and my eggs benedict had really nice seasoning on top of a crispy English muffin. I want to shout out our server Tika who was super friendly. She gave us the diner feel where the wait staff makes you feel like family, every time she came to our table she was an absolute joy and was also really awesome about making sure our coffee was filled. The food here is decent and substantial, but nothing special. My friend had the eggs benedict and I had eggs and bacon. We both opted for the cheesy grits. Our food was basically home style comfort food. The grits were creamy and probably my favorite part of the meal. The coffee was just so-so. Service was friendly and initially attentive. Our coffee was filled regularly and our server asked a few times if we needed anything. After the check we wanted to linger over coffee but we got the feeling that we should just leave. I don't think I'd return given the parking situation and just average food. People outside suggesting it was legit in downtown burbank following a long day at universal studios. It's a cute little area and the place is quite spacious with seats in and out. Nice decor and great friendly staff. They have a cool text back system so you can stroll around the neighborhood while waiting to get your steps in. I love soda in mason jars it always gets me. Creamer that flows into your coffee that can be had the way you like. I love it iced. The French toast was so good. Thick Texas like toast and topped with powder sugar. It wasn't too flavorful either just s subtle hint of pecans as they put bits and pieces around the jar. Café amore: 5/10 it was stronger than the cold brew as would be expected given that it's a hot drink and not watered down by ice. I hadn't realized this was a chain restaurant, but it doesn't feel like it. The staff are really friendly. The menu is big not but too overwhelming and is Southern food inspired and the coffee is strong. Settled on the Mardi Gras Omelet, which crawfish, shrimp and andouille sauage. I opted for the English muffin and grits instead of potatoes. My friend ordered supreme omelet and asked for avocado on the sides. He's not a fan of country potatoes so our server suggested tater-tots as they are closer to hasbrowns. Food was so good. The Mardi Gras omlett was full of seafood and not dry at all. The grits were extremely creamy and not slather or drowning in butter. Our server, Angela, was really attentive and came to check on just enough. Turns out it was her first day as a server and she did really good. When I return back to SoCal this will definitely be my regular spot. First time here on Veterans Day. I guess they didn't plan well because the place was packed and there was an hour wait. However, If I sat in the bar, there was going to be no wait. Beyond the incredibly long wait for food, when it did finally arrive an hour later, instead of softly scrambled eggs, the eggs were burnt. We came across this place on the way back up to Norcal on a road trip. We were so glad we came across this place as it was just what we needed before the long ride home. We ended up ordering the Country Power Bowl, Shrimp n Grits, and a short stack of pancakes.
