If you're looking for a brunch spot that serves up delightful dishes with a warm vibe, look no further than Another Broken Egg Cafe! My recent visit was nothing short of spectacular, and I can confidently say this place deserves every one of those five stars! I decided to go with the Chicken and Waffles, and let me tell you, it was an absolute game-changer. The chicken was perfectly crispy, coated in a golden batter that had just the right amount of seasoning. When paired with the fluffy, light waffles, it created a harmonious balance of flavors and textures that had me savoring every bite. Drizzling the maple syrup over the chicken and waffles was the cherry on top--it added that sweet touch to the savory dish that made it truly unforgettable. And the side of crispy bacon? Just the perfect accompaniment to tie everything together. My girlfriend opted for the Buttermilk Pancakes, and she was equally impressed. The pancakes were stacked high, fluffy, and had that melt-in-your-mouth quality that only comes from expertly crafted batter. Topped with fresh berries and served alongside perfectly cooked eggs and more crispy bacon, it was a breakfast dream come true. She couldn't stop raving about how light and airy the pancakes were, and the combination of flavors was just delightful. The atmosphere at Another Broken Egg is bright and cheerful, with friendly staff that made us feel right at home. The service was prompt, and our server was attentive without being intrusive, which added to the overall enjoyable experience. If you find yourself in the mood for a delicious brunch, I highly recommend checking out Another Broken Egg Cafe. Both the Chicken and Waffles and Buttermilk Pancakes are must-try dishes that will leave you craving more. We can't wait to return and explore more of their tempting menu! read more

My day started like any other, but little did I know my whole life was about to change. Time was going by fast as breakfast has past and brunch would soon too. In a quick dissuasion I pulled into Another Broken Egg thinking "I guess this will do". I was seated at my table and shortly after greeted by my server Madison. I looked up and to my surprise I see this magnificent goddess asking me how she could help me. I somehow built-up the courage to ask for an orange juice, while I looked over the menu. The menu had wide variety of options, but yet not too much to overwhelm me. Second later the goddess known as Madison returned with my orange juice. I asked her what she recommend I get. She replied if you trust me I'll put in the perfect order for you. I agree to this and in a blink of an eye she was gone. A few minutes go by and Madison ascends down from the heavens with my dish. I gazed upon my plate and at a lost for words to describe its beauty. This masterpiece of art would wipe the smile off Mona Lisa's face, leaving her in a rage of jealousy. The eggs tasted like they came the mythical griffin creature and bacon from the belly of a dragon. After I finished my meal that left tastebuds in ecstasy. Madison presented me with a very reasonable check for a priceless experience. After I paid her for my meal. She let me in on the meaning of life, making me promise to not tell another soul. Overall I would highly recommend going here. Just make sure to request that Madison be your server. read more

I had never been to any of the chain Another Broken Egg Cafe before, but me and my dad decided to try it out on August 7th of this year. Little did I know it would be the last time I would get to see him before he passed. Now, this place has a very special place in my heart. It was a Sunday at peak brunch time, and we were given a wait time of ~45 mins. I didn't even want to stay, but he suggested we wait and I'm so glad we did. The wait ended up being shorter than 45 minutes anyway, and we were seated with Cornelius as our waiter--couldn't have asked for a better one! Cornelius was prompt and polite, and even gave us a complimentary order of beignets! We were delighted and they were delicious, and the honey with them really hit the spot. The actual meal was fantastic, and we left with full tummies and were satisfied with our experience. Thank you for making my last memories with my dad as happy as they possibly could be. read more

This has been my favorite place for Sunday brunch, but my last two visits have not been good. I didn't post a review after the first bad visit, because no one is perfect and all previous visits had been perfect. On both visits the place was dirty and the tables and menus were very sticky. The pleasant atmosphere is gone and the employees don't seem happy. I asked our waitress, who had waited on us before, what was wrong. She said it is different now. I could definitely see that. We asked to speak to a manager, but no one came. In the past, the manager would come by without being asked. Both this Sunday and last Sunday our food came out wrong and had to be sent back. On both visits we were there over two hours not counting the wait. read more

Went this past Monday and loved it! I met some coworkers for breakfast to go over a proposal. The manager met us at the door and he got us sat in a quiet area. Our server was Bailey and she was very sweet and attentive . Food was quick and delicious . Get the Shrimp and Grits with City Grits! My friend got the biscuits and gravy and loved those also. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The manager who greeted us at the door came back by to check on us and another manager checked into us too. Also another server checked on us and refilled our coffee. He was super sweet and funny. Wish I could remember his name. Loved the atmosphere. Think we found our new meeting spot! read more

BREAKING NEWS!!! Another Broken Egg Cafe... this morning my wife and I found ourselves seated at a table in this restaurant of corporate drive. Having no idea that a gourmet breakfast with a southern Louisiana twist would be the next culinary experience, our server Natalie started to describe some of her favorites and recommendations. So about 10 mins after we ordered the best breakfast I have ever eaten was delivered to our table. Not only was the service from Natalie better than I would receive from my mother( BTW I work in a restaurant, so I know good service). The whole experience was 5 star.. see you next Saturday Natalie read more

This was my favourite spot in BR. Check past reviews. The last 4 visits have been very bad. I haven't posted about them till now hoping things would change. This is a different place then it was last Fall. It's dirty, staff is unhappy, no manager presence. When we came months ago, the manager was always at our table, staff was attentive and great atmosphere. Now, the complete opposite. Our server told us some of the issues they were now having. Maybe it's time to replace the people at the top of this corporation, instead of at the store level. I never thought I would say this but I will not be going back read more

I wanted to take a few minutes to acknowledge the server and service we had at this venue last week! The hostess were very polite! Our servers name was Asia - she greeted our table in a timely fashion and was super sweet and professional! She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our food! This young lady was outstanding. she made us feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant. Hats off to her for being productive and making sure we had an awesome experience. Next time we're in town we will be back! Hopefully we can request Asia :-) read more

Another Broken Egg on Corporate Boulevard is a go-to spot for a consistently delicious brunch. The atmosphere is easy going and relaxing. The menu never disappoints, with fresh ingredients and plenty of flavorful options to choose from. When everything is running smoothly, the experience is excellent and easy to enjoy. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the service, which can be a bit inconsistent at times. Most visits are great, but there are occasions where it falls short. Overall, it is still a reliable and enjoyable place to dine. read more

We have been going there for years. The food has always been top notch. I tend to try all of the dishes, especially the seasonal items. There have been some dishes that I did not care for, but that was not the fault of the restaurant. I just did not care for them. The food Is always prepared with quality. I do not know where they get their fruit from, but it is some of the best I have ever had, Sherron has been taking care of us for years. Wonderful personality and the quality of her service is beyond the 5 star rating that I can give her. read more

We came to eat breakfast for the second morning in a row and had the great fortune of having Cornelius as our waiter. He was friendly, informative, and professional. He went well above and beyond to make not only our meal wonderful but he made our day with his kindness and super personality! As I stated this was our second visit in a row and intend to make this a staple when we come back to town. The food is fresh and wonderful and the coffee is amazing. We will also being asking that Cornelius is our waiter again too! You guys are doing it right! read more

My friends and I decided to go to Another Broken Egg Cafe to grab bunch together. This was my first time eating here, and I have to say that it did not disappoint. The server, Spencer Barstad, was wonderful because he made sure that we were taken care of. He checked back periodically, cleared out plates when we were all done, and made sure our drinks were being refilled. The food was wonderful as well. One dish we got, the beignet doughnuts, which was amazing. I would highly recommend this place for someone who is looking for a place to eat read more

Are server was CORNELIUS and he was probably the best server my husband and I have had in a very long time! He was very sweet and down to earth and made the day very enjoyable with great conversation, and to top it all off he was very knowledgeable about the gluten-free options on there menu since I have Celiac disease and sometimes struggle to get help at most places. He even gave me a menu to take home with me for next time so I would always know what was available. I highly suggest you ask for him as your server! Amazing! read more

Absolutely horrible. This may be the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. I was there this weekend. Place was dirty. Food took forever. I asked for a manager. No one came. No one was very helpful. Our waitress tried, but she seemed overwhelmed. It was busy, but plenty of empty dirty tables. We and everyone else should not have waited so long for a table. I was here a couple of months ago and it was a good experience. If you want people to pay over $12 for eggs, the dining experience must be better. read more

We went to the Citiplace location and were blessed to be serviced by Cornelius. He offered suggestions on different menu items. I had the crab cake benedict, but he suggested the biscuit, since I wanted the English muffin on the side. And I got to add shrimp. My husband had the Benedict Burger, at his suggestion. Since he wanted shrimp on his grits, he suggested country grits. He was incredible from the moment he spoke until he said have a blessed day. He is definitely the biggest asset to this location. read more

A friend and I went on Sunday, June 2, 2017 and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Kim, was great. Even though the place was packed she stayed attentive to us. We never felt forgotten in the crowd. We also liked the manager, Devin. He was very personable and made us feel comfortable and important as a customer. The food was great. I had the skinny omelette. It came with an English muffin and fruit. Great serving sizes and filling. Very affordable. I would recommend this place and would go back anytime. read more

Baton Rouge needs more people like COCO! Coco made not only our day but made our stay here that much more enjoyable. As emergency relief workers for Hurricane Ida we don't get the opportunity to sit down for a nice warm meal often and I am so thankful we decided to go out today. Coco was amazing from the time we sat down. He approached us with a smile and a friendly voice, recommended the very best shrimp and grits with a gentle squeeze of lemon. Lol Thank you Coco for being the reason we smiled today read more

Our waiter, Cornelius B, was awesome. Very versed with the menu and the suggestions that he made on the food combinations was excellent and spot on. He is very courtesy, helpful, well mannered and an all around great person. He is definitely an asset to the business. He will be asked for on our next return. Did I mention that the food was great and the portions where accommodating to the prices. I will suggestion this restaurant in the present and future. Great Job keep it up. read more
