Denver Omlete

Came in early one rainy Sunday morning. They fit so many more tables than Yolk had. Our server was a very nice and quick guy who was also friendly. No complaints on the service. I had cinnamon rolls and the corned beef hash and eggs. I also got cheesy potatoes and tomato slices. The corned beef hash was good, but a bit greasy. Husband enjoyed his Denver omelette. Cinnamon rolls were just how I remembered them, gooey and delicious. The coffee was flavorless and weak. But the strawberry orange banana juice was great. I think Ann sather is a great replacement for Yolk. Yolk was not good and I'd actually come back to Ann sather. Parking on division can be rough depending on what time you arrive. We arrived right when they opened at 715 so we had no problem finding parking. We will be back!

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, a nice ambiance, and the staff were very polite and welcoming. The pancakes were more like crepes and came with a side of jelly that was actually so good! The eggs, bacon, and sausage were good too. The cinnamon rolls are a must-try! Overall, it was a really good breakfast experience. Definitely worth a visit!

The service is really fast. It was very busy and we got sat right away. It was really hot inside, people were fanning themselves w the menus. The portions are enormous and the food is great too.

I have never eaten at Ann Sather but heard about it for years. The food was good. The cinnamon rolls were very good. I had an omelette and it came with a side of potatoes. It was very good.

I have not been to Ann Sather's for such a long time and was pleased to see they opened this new location. They have indoor and outdoor seating and we opted to sit inside. The restaurant opened a few months ago. They offer Swedish diner classics , and their legendary, cinnamon rolls. We did not have to wait on a Sunday early afternoon ( they are open until 3) . Our server provided excellent service and took the extra step to confirm our selections, ensuring everything was perfect. I had the Swedish pancakes and my husband had an omelet. The Swedish pancakes were very thin crepe-like pancakes served with tart lingonberry sauce. Most breakfast entrees come with a side of 2 cinnamon rolls. They are incredibly soft and the icing is gooey, warm and not too sweet. They were exactly as I remembered. This is a nice addition to the area and is still serving the nostalgic items. Ann Sather has a 80-year history to serve traditional Swedish comfort foods and mid-century diner classics.

Four stars! On a busy Sunday morning, our group of 2 was seated within 15 minutes. The place was packed with families, young kids and large birthday parties. We ordered 2 eggs with fruit, potatoes and sausage. Loved that the fruit was fresh with kiwi, strawberries and blueberries. Rest of the breakfast fare was standard black diner coffee and eggs. You're here for the cinnamon rolls, don't leave without trying them. They have counter service to pickup a bag of cinnamon rolls to go. Would recommend if you're in the area for a casual family breakfast.

It's super nice back here! It started drizzling and the staff was quick to put up umbrellas. They have a really great team who was very kind to the two year old's we had at our table. The iced vanilla latte I had was really good! The actual food was hit or miss at our table, but I enjoyed my veggie skillet and eggs. Afterwards we wandered around the space and checked out some of the art. It's a really cool spot, and would be awesome for an event or company party!

Recommendations: Breakfast Meal…read moreBBQ Pork Bun Pineapple Milk Custard Bun We went to st. Anna for breakfast on Labour Day morning. We ordered the breakfast meal sets, which came with two mini pineapple buns and spam macaroni. We also ordered a breakfast plate with scrambled eggs and fried spam. The breakfast meals come with hot drinks and are only around $9, which is a great value. There are only 5 tables for dine in, first come first serve! The bakery also offers a variety of freshly made pastries and buns. Our favorites were the BBQ pork bun and the pineapple milk custard bun. Both were flavorful and fresh. It is a great spot for an affordable breakfast and some fresh bakery items.

Our family and extended family often ordered birthday cakes from them, and their mango cake was our favorite. When mangoes were in season, they used plenty of fresh mango in the cakes. Their cakes are always fresh, light, fluffy, and not too sweet. My daughter and I also love their individual cakes, especially the Black Pearl and Walnut Cake. Their pineapple buns and egg tarts are her favorites as well. Saint Anna has also been part of our daughter's childhood. When she was little, my husband used to bring her here before or after Chinese school in Chinatown on Sundays. Her go-to breakfast items were the Butter Bun, Ham and Macaroni in Soup, and Diced Ham and Corn in Cream Rice. As she got older, Curry Chicken with Potato became her favorite. She especially loved the potato cubes soaked in the delicious, mild curry sauce. She would always ask for more potatoes and less chicken, haha! Saint Anna is a family-run business, and Sara and Irene, the daughters-in-law, used to take care of the front of house. They were always so friendly and accommodating. After a 6-year hiatus, we finally returned one Friday recently when we happened to be in the area with a friend. Sara is now a co-owner, and it was wonderful to see her again. She immediately recognized us and was so warm and welcoming. She even asked me to relay her greetings to my sisters when she greeted us and again when we were leaving. Those little gestures made our return feel especially meaningful. We were still full from a big dim sum lunch, so my daughter picked up 2 Mini Pineapple Buns and 2 Paper-Wrapped Sponge Cakes, while I got a Red Bean Roll. Everything was fresh, soft, and delicious, and the total came to just under $8, really a great value. Our friend also purchased 2 Fried Sticky Rice Dumplings with Chicken. I had never really paid attention to their limited dim sum selection before, so that was a nice discovery. We love Saint Anna and will definitely be back whenever we're in the area.
