Came in on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make reservations through their website. When we arrived, our waiter was very friendly and helpful, walking us through the daily specials which was the steak risotto. It tasted amazing, I did not know what the cost was until the bill came which was $45. They don't have a kids menu, but I really appreciated how accommodating they were. They offered to create any pasta with a sauce of our choice in a smaller portion for the kids, which worked out perfectly for our family. The food tasted great, the ambiance was beautiful and inviting, and the overall vibe made for such a nice evening out. Street parking can be a bit difficult, but I noticed a sign at the entrance mentioning parking validation. We also ordered the Carbanara which was very creamy and the Ragu which tasted pretty good. Overall, it was a great experience , reasonably priced with very friendly customer service. We'll definitely be back! read more

I've lived near Andiamo for the past 5 years and for some reason, I just never thought to try it. But luckily a few weeks ago, I did try it with a friend and it's a keeper, and also kind of nice because it's not super difficult to get into. Food was way below par. The bread in the for the bruschetta was completely soggy, and I took my piece as soon as it was delivered to the table it was straight garlic and had no flavor. Andiamos is a neighborhood restaurant that has become our favorite place over the last few years. They have a small dining room, its not too loud we can always hear each other. They have a great selection of Italian wines. Mostly why we love it so much is the service. My son is 20 years old and autistic. He is in an awkward phase as a young adult who needs care, but also wants independence. They welcome us with open arms. They are so good to him, that dinner at Andiamo has become a pretty consistent treat. I highly recommend going and supporting this very heart centered wonderful restaurant. If you like culinary arts, watching their powerhouse chef work is pretty cool as well. My son always eats the whole loaf of excellent bread with pungent garlic oil (in a very good way). I try to come to Andiamo when I can. I usually always book last minute or day of. Quite a few times I wanted to go and planned few days ahead was already booked up. So have eaten here quite a few times over the years. Always had a great meal and enjoyed the ambience. Even though you will hear people on hear talk about the "The loud guy host/Server" Christian being obnoxious. WOW, WOW, WOW,....YES , YES, YES. Which i understand. But when you go in when he is not there, you can tell its just not the same experience. So I actually miss the guy when he isn't there. Food is always great and service. I hate when people leave a review of having a reservation and waiting 15-20 minutes. And complaining. Go eat fast food and shut up. When have you ener had a dentist or Dr appointment and didn't have to sit out in the lobby for 20-30 minutes?? I'd give this 5 stars but thats a perfect for everything. Its just the food part has been a bit inconsistent. I usually order same rotation of dishes. So either have diffrent cooks over past couple years. Vegetables where a little cold. Its fine ill eat it cause its still good. Only real thing I wish is the appetizer Salsiccia all Griglia to come back out in Two Sausage links like it says. So you have to cut into it yourself and eat. And the Sauce was much thicker with chunks of tomato and delicious. So you could dip the bread in and eat. the last two time I ordered it the sausage was a sliced up in weird slivers and the red sauce was just drizzled over it with no thickness. So sorry not paying $18 anymore for this. Not sure if they stopped making both in house to cut back on prep time and flavor. But damn I miss the real sausage and the spicy thickness off this appetizer from over a year ago. Other then that ill still come back. Tiramasu which im not a big fan of is really, really quite good. I didn't get to eat there because the hours are incorrect online. One says open 1130-9p and another has lunch hours and reopens at 430p. We walked over from my Moms condo building to find them closed until 5p. It was too cold to have her (87 y/o) wait outside. I'm not sure if we will try again sometime. The food, drinks and service are phenomenal!!! All I could think when I was here was the saying "when you're here, you're family".... It was our first time and definitely won't be our last - we live in Southern California, and despite all the food places down there, I cannot think of a single one that has such a welcoming environment and delirious food. We went for dinner without reservations. Wait time was 15 minutes and we were seated promptly after. Alex, our server, was wonderful. We had the prawn appetizer. For dinner we had the chicken Neapolitana with a side of sautéed spinach and prawn carbonara. For dessert we had the limoncello cake. It was perfect- not too sweet and melted in your mouth. Food was excellent. Ambiance was wonderful. Definitely recommend making reservations. read more

10 stars would be more appropriate! The ambiance was so warm, toasty, intimate and inviting-great for date night, family dinner night, or treating yourself! The food was fantastic, you must start with the meatballs, soo good, try the rigatoni and sausage, so delicious just the right amount of decadence and a hint of spice. The chicken Marsala was wonderful rich and tender in a well balanced rich sauce. The ravioli ,salmon and chicken Napolini made our taste buds sing. We would truly travel to Bellevue just to come to this inviting treasure of a restaurant. And speaking of treasures, Cristian is an absolute gem of a human, Wow, he added extra sparkle to our evening 100%. Moises took such great care of us, a cup was never empty a face never frowned, thank you both for a wonderful night! All I can say is like Cristian says "wow, wow, wow" cause we love it, we love it, we love it! They took our party of 5 last minute on a Friday evening, and wow were we all in love! After growing up in Sicily, I was hopeful to experience authentic Sicilian food but was dissatisfied with the flavors due to the chef complicating dishes rather than cooking the ingredients in a traditional southern Italian method. The waiter on staff yelled "Wow, Wow, Wow" every time he delivered a dish to a table, which killed the ambiance. Great neighborhood Italian institution with fresh pasta and a cozy environment. They were fabulous accommodating a large party and were incredibly sweet. But enough with the fabulous service- it's about the food. So much fresh pasta, great bruschetta, salads, and a fun calamari appetizer that is not fried - bring in the Italian bread. I don't usually write negative reviews, but tonight's experience at Andiamo absolutely deserves it. I had a reservation for 2 for what was supposed to be a nice date night. We arrived right on time, only to be told, with a straight face, that our table wasn't ready and we'd have to wait 20 minutes. No sense of urgency, no offer of a drink. Just a shrug and apologies. It reminded me of that classic Seinfeld line: "You see, you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them." Apparently, that's the restaurant's motto. We ended up leaving before a table ever materialized. If you expect your reservation to mean something, consider going elsewhere. There are plenty of Italian places in this city that understand hospitality and the concept of time. read more

My mom and I had the pleasure of having dinner together at Andiamo last night. The staff greeted us instantly with a friendly smile and seated us right away. The ambiance was quaint and cozy. My mom had the beat salad and I had the caprese salad to start. For our main course she had the seafood linguini and I had the lobster ravioli that were both on the special for the night. We absolutely love Andiamo! We go as a family or on date nights and every time it's incredible. The staff is so welcoming and friendly, making you feel like you are a part of the family. And the food.... oh my goodness..... we haven't had a bad meal yet. We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and the specials and everything is perfetto! Fantastic choices for everyone in your party, including someone who is Gluten Free. Our daughter has Celiac and has never had a problem. The wine list is fantastic either by the glass or bottle. The wine list is really well put together with some Montepulciano classics. One review commented that the food was over salted. Collect your salt credits if you have an issue with too much salt in your diet. All three of us found the level perfect. We had a Barbaresco that was well balanced, a lighter red than that of a Zin. The limoncello cake was very yummy. Not a spec left on the plate. The staff is very welcoming, with some fanfare. Overall, great experience. read more

I've always loved Andiamo but our last experience was different. We had reservations for dinner on Mother's day and we arrived about 25 minutes early. We would have been happy to wait but were immediately seated at a back table that apparently had no assigned waiter. We waited for a very long time to order and there was a long wait between courses. The biggest problem was the host who kept bellowing "Wow wow wow!" and yelled other things. It's nice that he was in a positive mood but his volume was very disruptive and disturbed what should have been a quiet, intimate dinner. As always, the food was fabulous. We ordered a mixed appetizer of meats and cheese plus a shrimp dish. I was determined to order something different than my usual mixed seafood pasta, but I love it too much and ordered it again. My son ordered gnocci and my husband got pasta with sausage. I usually ask for the tiramisu, (which is the best) but I decided to give the lemon cake a try. It was absolutely wonderful. Parking was very easy on a weekend. We parked right outside the place. They have outdoor sitting. Cute lights outside. I guess this is for the evening not lunch. We noticed it was nice in the inside. I really like this. Outdated a little but it felt like in the old days when you get to dress a bit better to go for dinner. There was only one waiter and 2 cooks. You can see the kitchen so it was good. Staff was friendly and same service as in Italy. Food was OK. Homey. Nothing special but tasty. Meatballs are big. Other dishes are regular. My wife, our close friend, and I had dinner at Andiamo last night. We were very disappointed. First, the restaurant was missing both a cook and a manager. According to our waiter this was why we had to wait for over an hour for our dinner, once we were able to order. The restaurant was nearly empty by the time we were finally served. Second, both the Carbonara and the insalata mista were so oversalted that they were nearly inedible. Given that we were very hungry by this point and it was getting late, we did not send the dishes back, as we should have done. We just soldiered on. Third, the Spaghetti Gambreri, was thankfully not oversalted, just served with only 4 prawns. The Burratta and Beets appetizer was excellent. We en this promising start to our dinner. We have been to Andiamo before and had a lovely meal. The ambience and restaurant is very charming and the staff tried to make it a good experience. Maybe the host should have not taken our last moment reservation, given the circumstances. We will return and hope that the kitchen staffing has been prepared and we will have time to make our displeasure with the food by sending it back. read more

We dined here for the first time at 5pm on 09/09/13/2023 with a party of three. Of course, we did dine early; however, it started filling up as the evening went on. Don't worry about the reviews that say parking is far away and a challenge. That couldn't be further from the truth. The restaurant is in the street level of an apartment building. There is a retail parking garage at the apartment building, which you can park in and it is a very short walk from that point. If you bring your license plate number, the restaurant will validate your parking and it will be free. We had an absolutely wonderful server. He was so kind, explained everything, and just was over the top fun and excited. I'm sorry I don't remember his name; however, he was wonderful. I started with a Margarita, even though the rest of my party got wine. The bread that comes out before the meal, comes with a delicious seasoned sauce. I have no idea what was in it; however, it was wonderful. We ordered a charcutterie platter to start which was great; however, the highlight of the meal were the entrees. I had the Tortellini alla Panna, which was tortellini filled with beef and tossed in a cream sauce with Ham. It was absolutely delicious, creamy and filling. Oh what a treat. I also had a side cesar salad. The entire experience was great. There was no room for dessert and I would definitely return again in the future. read more

Our team was really looking forward to dining here since that is what they have done in the past few years when visiting from Las Vegas. We wanted to make it a team tradition to come here and enjoy the food and atmosphere. We contacted the staff to see if they could accommodate our large group. They were friendly and said they could definitely arrange it. Unfortunately when we called them back to make the reservation they no longer wanted to make the accommodations that they originally told us. We would have been fine with what they wanted us to pay and also coming in earlier so that they could close on time but they were very rude about it.
