Pistachio cream Danish bar
Jon W.

Service was great. Staff explained what's inside and recommended other Danish bar. Tried the Pistachio cream Danish bar and liked it.

Creamy French= so simple but so yum!

The food here is so simple but yet so good!! I don't come here like I used too bc I'm cutting my carbs, but on my cheat day! This is the place!

Not-creamy French

The Andersen bakery at the Stoneridge Mall is somewhere we have frequently visited over the years, and sorry to say that the quality has been steadily declining. Half the time when we purchase the goods from here, we are somewhat disappointed with the quality. For example today we got some creamy French ( small French baguette with pastry cream inside) because my family usually enjoys these; and when we got home and open the bag finding the baguettes were barely filled with pastry cream... we even asked with the staff and they assured us the goods were nicely filled with cream. If there is no proper food QA/QC, why would anyone go back as returning customers?

Mango tart

We stopped by after a long hours waiting at DMV. There were many yummy looking pastries and desserts! The mango tart and curry pan were delicious and reminded me of Japan.

I have been several times always a line of people. Today about 4 people in front of us but it didn't take that long to get to the front of the line. We love the Asian influence in the bakery. Curry pans are crunchy on the outside with beef curry in the middle. We also like the ham and cheese croissants.

Creamy french

I decided to buy a creamy french when I saw Andersen in the mall. The baguette part is fresh and soft enough to not hurt to bite into, and the custard is very sweet. I was impressed by the large selection. They have fruit tarts with berries or mango. They now sell ube brioche and beyond curry pan. I noticed one of the displays has a sign for "curry pan," though, while another one says "beyond curry pan," but when I asked about the beyond curry pan since it appeared to be sold out, the worker seemed confused, and then said that the curry pan is vegetarian anyways, so it was unclear to me if these are two different pastries. Ultimately I didn't end up buying the curry pan since I assumed the beyond curry pan might have beyond meat and that was what I was interested in trying. Sadly, they don't sell sunrise bread at this location.

Chicken Salad Sandwich with raisin bread.

Quick and efficient service. This bakery chain has a wide assortment of food from sweet to savory. I didn't think the sandwiches here would be too filling since it didn't seem that big, but I was wrong. We were t for two different sandwiches and a danish to-go. The ultimate club sandwich was delicious and hits the spot if you want a warm club sandwich with turkey, bacon, and avocado. The other sandwich we got was a chicken salad sandwich on raisin bread. The danish had a yummy cream cheese filling that tasted almost like cheesecake - super good.

Japanese Beyond Curry Pan

Andersen Bakery is a fusion bakery with influences from Western and Japanese baking traditions. Their sandwich and salad menu made for a nice lunch option, especially the half and half combination, which came with a selection of half a sandwich and half a soup or salad. The Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich was a cold sandwich of chicken salad (chicken in a creamy dressing) with lettuce, almonds, and cranberry sauce on cranberry walnut bread (my personal favorite bread from this bakery). The Cranberry Apple Pecan Harvest Salad came with romaine lettuce topped with dried cranberries, apple slices, candied pecans, and goat cheese. Finally, from their pastry selection, the Japanese Beyond Curry Pan was a deep-fried bread with a crispy, oily exterior; a soft, doughy interior; and a savory filling of (vegetarian) ground Beyond meat in a curry sauce! Overall, the food here was simple but tasty, and the walnut cranberry bread was still the highlight for me.

Sliced sweet brioche

Every time I go to Stoneridge Mall, I would pass by this store but had never had a chance to try their food. Recently, I was at the mall for an errand but suddenly became hungry after staring at the fresh pastries at the store front. After I was done with my errand, I walked into Andersen to buy a piece of sweet brioche. After I paid, the cashier asked if I would like my bread sliced. I said yes and munched on the bread while heading home. The bread was extremely soft and fresh. However, it wasn't as sweet as I had hoped for.

You might be going to Stoneridge Mall with the intent to go to the Apple store, Macy's, Zara, Forever 21, or a hundred other shops...but I dare you to look into Andersen Bakery and not drool -- impossible! Bodacious breads and pastries on display (wow!), and sandwiches, soups, salads made-to-order. I ordered 2 items: a ham & cheese croissant [$4.50, 4.0 stars], and large cheese danish [$4.95, 4.0 stars]. Both were good, but I've had better. Still, worthy though. Perhaps earlier in the day they would be a tad better. People have complained mostly for the service. I went after lunch, 2pm, and was no issue I had...very nice and speedy actually. Bottomline, I like but not love.

I went here for a week and they over charge and their egg salad sandwich had shells and they put cucumbers in everything!

We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

The line moved too quick I wish i couldve have more time to decide so i ended up getting more than I wanted. We got there Chocolate croissant, brioche, Flan Vanille, macaroons, marshmallow, 2 tuna sandwich, ham and cheese croissant and the croque monsieur. Although everything was pleasant our favorite was the Flan Vanille and the tuna sandwiches. The Flan vanille is my new favorite dessert going forward. I know it was a busy day and the staff was busy with the orders and service making tables available however they could improve in checking their bathroom and trash bins. All bins were too full even one by the counter. We notice that the staff continously wiping the counter but didnt notice the overflowing trash bin. Other than that i couldnt stop bragging about Mason Benoit on my social media. We will definitely come back.

It's a great location, but you have to give them a bit of patience here. Pastries/breads/cookies/cakes all looks great and tastes good. Everything is fully stocked and plentiful in the mornings. After placing my order at the kiosk for a medium iced Tiger Boba Latte/milk beverage, I waited 15-20 minutes before getting my drink. I'm still glad it only costs me $4.90 for the cup and they haven't raised prices on beverages. It's the only beverage I purchased here for years. Decent and good tasting, more milky flavor, and not overly sweet. $4.90 is much better than $7 elsewhere. I wish they had more tables and chairs inside. When that happens, I have to give them kudos because at some places, the changes are so subtle they're almost meaningless. The drinks were OK, and they did the job on a a cold and rainy morning. As for the pastries, they were just OK. I've had better at other bakeries (and other branches of this same company), and with the plethora of options around for baked goods, you can find better. With that being said, it may just have been the couple of choices we had for food. The ube filled baked good was not very good, but I say that as an ube fiend. I have ube a lot, including back in the motherland. It was more like taro than ube, when it came to taste. As for the quantity, there wasn't a lot of it either. The actually bread part was soft and nice, and it was pretty. The egg tarts weren't the best. They left something to be desired. I would suggest getting something else. Maybe we made the wrong choices this time at 85, because I've definitely had better baked goods at their other locations.
