Don't let the manager's friendly demeanor fool you. This place is run on dishonest business practices. The only reason I picked this facility was because they have a truck available to customers. I found out it is nearly impossible to use the truck because the place is closed on Sundays, and we can not do business or work on Saturday due to our religious beliefs. I did not have the crew available on a weekday to use the truck, so I canceled the first reservation and paid to rent a truck on a Sunday. I called a couple of months later to reserve the truck, and was told the truck is for new customers only and must be used within 5 days of move in, and the truck is only there to attract new customers. This was never mentioned any of the three previous times I spoke to Matt about using the truck, and he should have been honest in letting me know that was my last chance to use the truck when I canceled. It is nowhere in the unit contract either. We asked to speak to his supervisor and he gave us names, but said there is no contact number for his supervisor. We swore and he told us not to verbally abuse him, which is a form of gas lighting. You can't lie to someone's face, refuse them any other options and expect them to not be angry. We went through this same thing with T-Mobile, when they kept charging us yet said they had canceled our lines on 3 occasions and refused to escalate us and sent us to collections after we had been within our rights. Customer service is dead in this country. We have a unit at another branch as well and since this company views customers as nothing more than moths that can be lured in with an illusion, we are looking into taking our business elsewhere. read more
