I sent the below email to "corporate" and no response…read more I am writing to express my concerns regarding several ongoing issues at your facility located at 2130 Amberbrooke Way, Virginia Beach, VA. These issues have significantly impacted customers' ability to safely and reliably access their storage units. First, the sliding doors have been inoperable for quite some time, and there has been no communication regarding the status of repairs or an estimated timeline for when the doors will be fixed. This ongoing problem creates unnecessary inconvenience and raises questions about the facility's maintenance standards. Additionally, the office has been closed during regular posted business hours on multiple occasions. This has been particularly frustrating during recent weather conditions, as customers have not received any communication about adjusted hours, closures, or schedule changes. Without updates, customers are left without assistance or clarity when attempting to access their units. As paying customers, we expect timely communication, reliability, and transparency--especially when access to personal property is affected. I respectfully request the following: 1. A clear update on when the sliding doors will be repaired 2. An explanation for the inconsistent office hours 3. Timely notifications for any closures or schedule changes, especially those related to weather 4. Improved communication efforts moving forward Thank you for your prompt attention to these concerns.     Best household moving company!! So impressed with the staff at ABF Upack. Met the nicest…read moregentleman, who was the driver, named Eugene, a.k.a, Junior from this Chesapeake location. I cannot give this person enough praise! He was the driver that delivered my goods in Williamsburg, VA. Very personable and professional with high energy!. Because of Junior, ABF will be the first company I call for my next move. The day before another full service moving company from hell showed up at my door and told me my estimate is wrong and my cost will be 40% higher. Luckily I had some leeway and did not need to move that day. The company owner was surprised by my decision not to use their service assuming I was trapped. Back to the drawing board, I stumbled on ABF Upack when googling. I could not have been happier! The customer service reps on their toll free number were so helpful, upbeat and professional. The very next day a trailer was delivered to our home. We had to pack the trailer ourselves which was not a problem. A bulkhead used to separate cargo can be locked. The remaining space is used for commercial shipments. Therefore, there is only one household move is on a trailer eliminating any confusing of ownership. When we finished loading, the driver returned to pick up the trailer. My goods were on their 1,400 mile journey. I could track my goods trip using their website. A nice little perk! ABF offers to options to move which I did not know until I called. One is UPack and the other is a trailer. The first option is you pay by the cube. The other second is you pay by usage on a trailer. In my case, this was, by far, the least expensive option. It is worth checking both options when doing your homework. Again, thank you ABF for your exceptional service. Everything went like clockwork.

Excellent customer service, they were patient and professional whenever I had questions about the process which led me to use their service once more. Fast forward to today. On planning the move, once more the staff were excellent to assist with my planning as I knew there was going to be some delay between the time of packing and the availability of my new residence. They made me feel secure in a plan to pick up my trailer on 31Aug and deliver it promptly on 09Sep. The customer service professional advised me of an ideal plan and that they would hold my items if they happened to arrive too early. No problem, right? However, they didn't pickup on 31Aug as described, unknown to me I had to call for trailer pickup that was supposed to be pre-arranged but a call cleared that up on 01Sep and they hauled it off. Since then, the trailer has been parked in Winston Salem, NC. A follow up call to their toll-free number on 08Sep to a less than interested employee suggested it may arrive on the 11th but they do not deliver on weekends so it may be the 12th...13th...14th even. At this point I'm wondering if I am going to require shopping for a new wardrobe to start my new job at my new location. The truck location still showing Winston Salem, NC and it's the day it was intended to be delivered. I have had to reschedule my unloading staff appointment and have no idea when to expect arrival of my belongings. My first experience would have been a 5/5. This experience, I would rate a 1/5. At this point I feel concerned my property is not secure and that it has not made any movement in 9 days.
