Milton originally came out to meet us and to provide an estimate, which we greatly appreciated, and it was right on-point at payment time. So important! The packing team was very good; they packed us up quickly and carefully. (While I'm still unpacking, all my breakables are so far in great shape!) They were friendly and professional. The next day, a different team handled the move and these guys worked so so hard! They were also very careful, efficient, and friendly, despite the very steep staircase in our condo. I honestly don't know how they did it. Overall, a very good experience with both teams! Thank you Milton and teams! The movers did not come from the location that I called adding additional unknown cost. There was some initial confusion about when the movers were set to arrive. At first, I was told it was going to be a morning move, and then the night before got a call saying it would be an afternoon moving. Then the morning of the move, I got a call saying they were an hour away. It added unnecessary frustration and confusion. I thought the movers really took their time and lacked hustle. My 10 minute relocation took 6 1/2 hours. Granted it was a hard move to the third floor with no elevator, but at the end of the day they couldn't reassemble my bed. I still have furniture that's wrapped in moving material. I also have some furniture that was reassembled incorrectly. The movers did what they could, but could've been more communicative and could've benefited from more training & support from the front office.

Ivan and Anthony coordinated my move-out from house to storage, storage unit to moving truck, and then delivery to new home. During this move, Ivan also transported my car on a flatbed trailer attached to the moving truck. Before providing estimates and scheduling moves, he would request to take a look at the old space and all items to be moved. He was also helpful in suggesting which size unit to rent when I had to put all my furniture in storage. Neither elevators, stairs, traffic nor weather would deter Quick Move. Ivan made sure that everything was transported and delivered with care and intact. Ivan not only handled moves, he had a good eye for furniture placement. When my bedroom set would not fit, he knew which pieces would look beautiful in other areas of my apartment. Before moving/delivery day, I always printed a copy of my home floor plans and designed my furniture layout. Ivan also helped my mom move appliances/furniture to and from her clinic. He even picked up a store order for me instead of my paying for shipping/delivery and figuring out how to carry the heavy purchase upstairs. Star Movers was honestly the best moving experience I've ever had. The movers were friendly, communicative, incredibly thorough, and genuinely conscientious throughout the entire process. What really stood out to me was how thoughtful and proactive they were in ways I never would have anticipated. For example, they intentionally left the mop and broom accessible without us even asking -- and we ended up needing them immediately afterward. They also packed an important document file near the front of the storage unit because they anticipated we might need access to it later, which turned out to be incredibly helpful. These are the kinds of details that show real care and experience. The only minor issue was that the third mover arrived late (9:49 AM), and when asked about it, he stated an earlier arrival time than when he actually showed up. However, management handled it professionally and gave me a discount for the delay, which I appreciated. Overall, that small issue was vastly outweighed by how excellent the service was. I would absolutely use Star Movers again and highly recommend them. read more

We had a great experience with STAR Movers. They showed up on time, were polite and respectful of us, our home, and our belongings. They were professional while also making the day fun (not something I ever expected to say about moving)! They made sure everything was wrapped in moving blankets to prevent damage and really worked well as a team to make sure the job was done efficiently while also being mindful of walls, doorways, tight corners, etc. We had a couple of tight turns at the old house, and they made sure to get the furniture out without causing any damage! They went through the house and inspected the furniture, walls, and floors before moving things and pointed out any previous damage and did a walkthrough with us at the end as well to make sure nothing happened during the move. Their attention to detail and care for our property made the entire move much less stressful. The level of service STAR Movers provides is fantastic, a great value for the cost! read more

Kevin with Star Movers reminded me that there is still good people in this world, people that are not just doing it for the money or because it's their job. I can't even begin to tell you how above and BEYOND Kevin went to assist our 80 year old client in her move. She had no one, and we were attempting to coordinate from another state. He became our eyes and ears, checked in on her if we couldn't get her on the phone, took her himself to her new location, and helped her get through the storage paperwork since she couldn't do it on a computer. This team was amazing. They were kind, thoughtful, funny, respectful caring. They worked with my schedule and far into the night to make sure everything was perfect before they left. The tetris master made sure none of my antiques broke! They went out of their way to help me repair a piece that has my heart and set up a small bedroom in a way I didnt think possible that made losing 1K sqft not so miserable. Watching them work was fluid, and they had eachothers back, coordinating as needed, and supporting eachother. Price was less than expected and output was invaluable.
