Paid for a pack AND move, only received a move of A FEW ITEMS and the rest was left over. I'm a single mother and veteran who needed help and ended up having to call other people to help me and the cleaning service, scheduled afterwards had to reschedule and I had to pay an extra day of rent. I contacted Samson and he stopped responding. CHOOSE ANOTHER REPUTABLE COMPANY or waste your money and time like I did. First off, these guys were very responsive, worked hard and fast, and $140/hour is worth it. However, they are shady. I was assured they had a truck big enough to move my 2 bedroom house in 1 trip. They showed up with a Uhaul rental (was under the impression they owned their truck) that was too small. They claimed that their original Uhaul reservation disappeared and this was the biggest truck they could get. This may be true, but seems suspicious to me that Uhaul would've even had this truck available immediately considering it was a very busy moving weekend (last weekend of the month). Still, they said they could get everything in and make it in one trip. Ended up being 2 trips, and what should've been about a 4 hour job turned into 7, when they are paid by the hour. When I asked about them accommodating the extra cost due to the smaller truck, these were the ridiculous reasons they said they wouldn't discount the job ... 1. When they showed up with a smaller truck, I could've canceled. - Seriously! Then I would've been stuck with no movers! 2. It was my choice to do a second trip and not move the rest of the stuff myself. - Ok, so they felt it was ok to leave the job unfinished. If I was able to move myself, I wouldn't have hired them. 3. Because I insisted on a 2nd trip, they lost out on a 2nd job they had scheduled for that day. 4. They ended up working all day without a lunch break. - I would've had no problem at all with them taking a lunch break. I even bought them drinks. In the end, they only agreed to taking off 1 hour, but then added on a $20 travel charge that I was never informed of! Do not hire these guys. I recommend hiring a company that owns their own truck(s) and not dependent on a rental. read more

If you are considering using this company for your next move, I strongly suggest looking somewhere else. One thing I will give them is that they are responsive as long as you text them. I was scheduled with them for July 17th 2021 to help me move. When I messaged them to set this up they were super responsive and it seemed promising. That was the only good thing about this interaction. On the day of my move, I waited for an hour and a half past my scheduled time and heard nothing, so I decided to call them. I understand that stuff happens so a delay is no big deal, I would just like a little communication. I called and got no answer and there was no voice-mail so I couldn't leave a message. I waited 20 minutes and called again, still no answer and can't leave a message. Getting worried, I decide to send them a message and see if they respond that way. After messaging them they replied to let me know they were behind on the previous job and will be at my place in about 2 hours. Then I wait 2 and a half more hours, just to have them message me to tell me they can't make it and need to reschedule. I felt like they could have at least had to courtesy to call me after making me wait almost 5 hours. So I message them back and suggest them come in the morning. I felt that was fair, I missed my appointment this day so I should be seen first thing the next day, right? Well they messaged back and said their first available wasn't until several days later. I felt like I was really at their mercy because I needed to move, so I asked if they were available on a different day due to my schedule and they never got back to me. I ultimately ended up finding another way to get moved and I never used this company. Their lack of courtesy and professionalism really did not make me feel comfortable trusting them with my belongings. Awesome guys !! Was a little skeptical at first since this is a new business but I am so pleased I used them!! They were very professional, wrapped all of my items in blankets etc, and were also very fast and worked efficiently not to mention more affordable than any others quotes I received. Scheduled them for July 8, 2021 and then I needed to change them to July 9 which they said was no problem. Additionally Samson(the owner) said at the last minute that he had to charge me an extra $200 for travel instead of the posted $20 even though he new from the beginning where the move was taking place. But......in the end it didn't matter as THEY NEVER SHOWED UP anyway. When I reached out to Samson, he said I was never scheduled. SHADY is an understatement! I had talked and scheduled a move with them on Wednesday for Saturday at 10 am just for them to call me on Saturday at 8 am (Literally the day of and two hours before I was expecting to meet them) just to tell me they could no longer do that day and needed to push my move back.... TWO HOURS BEFORE!! Just so damn unprofessional and when I asked if they could offer a discount or something for this HUGE inconvenience (especially after turning down 3 other moving companies that could've done it a day prior since I already booked with VA Wave Movers) they told me no, they couldn't offer me any discount for THEIR INCONVENIENCE, I could either accept the new date or cancel the service... like are you serious? I basically had no choice but to reschedule then since the weekend was now here, and I wouldn't be able to find anyone for this same day SINCE YOU CANCELED THE DAY OF. And the representative on the phone was so unsympathetic of the predicament they just put me in. Please just save your time, emotions, and money and book with someone who will actually be reliable or at least be empathetic enough to try to compensate for the time THEY WASTED and the inconvenience they put you through. Only reason they even got two stars was because they seemed willing to work with my schedule (somewhat since I originally wanted Friday but they told me they only had one opening at 10am or I would have to do Saturday at 10am and since the service included the truck in price, I figured one extra day wouldn't kill me). This just added so much more stress on my already heavy plate, and now I have to sit here with the worry that they might do the same thing on the new date and I have no real choice at this point but to hope for the best since I more than likely will not find another mover at this point until the end of the month... TWO hours before though.... Just SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Literally my only term for this company. read more

They worked hard and long. There was a bad communication from the day of moving. They came with a small truck which took longer and more trips to complete the job and since they are changing by the hour I was not happy with that. Besides that they worked hard to complete the job. My only other complaint is that when they assemble my son's bunk bed all the screws we're not put back in. Of course I didn't notice it because I don't sleep on the bed and my son was not there that weekend. But when he slept in it he told me the bed was loose. I later after unpacking found the remainder of screws but was upset because I felt like they knew all the screws we're not there when they assemble it and allowed me to let my son to sleep in a somewhat unstable bed. Very unprofessional, unreliable and was a waste of time... they cancelled my appointment and gave it away after I already confirmed a date with them, the owner at that... I called the day prior to make sure everything was good and they said I didn't respond when I clearly have receipts saying I had an appointment and confirmation and they hung up on me and did not even receive a call back as to why. BEWARE. Wouldn't trust them with my business or my belongings. read more
