Premier Events had events had casino game tables set up in the VIP section of this event. They had grabs, roulette, and my favorite blackjack! which is where I spent most of my day. What a phenomenal idea. The best part is you're not spending your own money which makes it even better. Our dealer ( dang forgot his name) was very friendly, fun and personable very engaging. This would make a great idea for a birthday party a fundraising event, New Years Party, even a family reunion. What a fun night you could have with this I wish I knew more people so I could host an event and hire them. If you decide to hire them or if they end up having a fundraising event that you hear of, please come back and let me know because I would love to attend another event where they have casino tables. This would've been perfect to have some sort of giveaways for the person with the most chips at the end of the night like a little gift bag , a free casino table for an hour, or some sort of Premier Event Coupon or some sort of door prize from your vendor would've been perfect just to make it fun and interesting . So if you're ever looking or planning on hosting an event I would highly recommend you contact Premier Events I'm positive. They could help you with an event and it will be very memorable. I had so much fun that if you're looking for a blackjack dealer for an event and that's something I can do on the side. I would definitely consider doing this. That's how much fun I had. Don't forget notify me if you have a public event I would love to attend.

Hands down, I would hire them again and again, but happy to only marry one! I hired Pari for full…read morewedding planning and a dj service for ceremony only. I'm Virginia's #1 Wedding pastor. I've performed over 5000 weddings and could have worked my own wedding just fine. But knowing the entire industry, I wanted to work with someone that I've worked with more times than I can count but also who knows just as many people as I do. When I first started planning, I needed to remain anonymous so having that wedding influencer coordinate for me meant that I could gain the same top industry standards that one would offer to me directly. But more than influence and connection, Pari and her team and I have worked with intimately over the years in the wedding world. They are professional, coordinated, organized, detailed oriented, and a "get it done" + "I got it" + "don't worry" vibe that I also needed and desired. The last reason, I hired my friend, a professional friend, but still my friend. All of my vendors were dear friends who I know also loved me. You see, I'm a man, and married the man of my dreams, my husband. I had not come out just yet, and this hiring was super personal for me. Not only was I joining my partner for life, but I needed a team that supports me whole heartedly and were like my family, even my "wedding industry family." I found all that with Pari and her team. My family didn't participate... not many pastors who are gay have family that would support that kind of decision, but Pari, she was my constant, my rock, my support, my guide through the entire process. Thats what meant the world to me the most. Can you imagine "handling" a virginia's most wedded wedding pastor who's used to running the wedding ceremony? I have to give it to her, my personality is louder than any bridezilla, though, as a pro, never happened. Pari did it with such ease and professionalism. There was a part in my rehearsal that I "let go" of things.. Pari gently placed both hands on my shoulders and looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Cory... do you trust me..." I'll be honest, there was a long pause, but the reality is that I did. I said yes, I trust you. That transfer of power was needed for me and she used her professional authority in such a way to ease even me and to place me in position where she needed me to transfer that moment to her. I smile when I think about it, but I realized after that moment, I was able to relax and drink and enjoy the moments of my wedding. My wedding day came, finally, it was my turn. Pari and the team arrived on time, sorted everything. I had nothing to do but be present and thats something that I can never be more thankful for Pari. They kept our timeline on point and made changes quickly when I asked. They packed things up and coordinated with my designees. My wedding was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Most importantly, my wedding was executed professional and just as I envisioned. She captured my picture and performed perfectly. There isn't, truly, any negative thing I can think of, not even a lil bit of that or some more of that. Finally, just one last thought. As my partner and I were sharing these moments in the ceremony, I scanned the logical family chosen to be there, including my vendor team. There wasn't a dry eye present, including Pari's eyes. The love I share for her and our friendship will be forever present. Hire this team. You won't regret it. And yes, you really do need a planner! Thank you Pari and Sara, from the deepest part of Justin's and my heart. Much love, always! Justin and Cory!

3.5 stars out of 5. Positives,…read moreOur Lesner Inn representative, Noel, was extremely helpful and professional. Great to work with, flexible, and had a genuine concern that our day went the way we wanted it. The venue is very nice and the decorations make for great evening ambiance. It was just what we wanted. Noel was able to coordinate additional decorations from a previous event without charging us which we really enjoyed. The outside deck gives good views of Lynnhaven inlet as well. Service during our event was great, not intrusive and professional. Starting out with 5 stars because of Noel and her staff. Negatives, Food quality is about a 3 out of 5 stars and not representative of the price you are paying. Most items were clearly pre-made food service items that were re-heated or deep fried. Chicken was a little dry, sauce was pre-packaged, shrimp were fried or baked from frozen with sriracha sauce drizzled over them and labeled bang bang shrimp, apps were pre-made food service company items. We were disappointed in the food at the tasting, commented that we wanted the kitchen to step it up, but ended up with the same crap food for the event. Minus 1 star. They charge a service fee to pay with credit card here. I don't appreciate a business passing on the fee that a credit card company charges them so that they can offer that payment method to their customers. It's a slimy business tactic. If you're going to nickle and dime me for your costs, just build it in to your prices and then offer a cash discount. Minus .5 stars. Overall, we really enjoyed our event and our service was great, but the food is cafeteria quality at best. Fortunately, most people were distracted enough by the event to not care, but we definitely noticed.

We just finished celebrating Easter brunch/Dinner today on a Saturday. We are first timers with…read moreTraditions, but I must say our family was extremely impressed from start to finish! We ordered takeaway Easter brunch that needed to be pre-heated before serving. We had a choice of shrimp and grits or salmon but since we had a larger order we were able to do half and half and have the best of both worlds. Ordering and paying ahead before the deadline online was simple! If you have questions prior to ordering just call. We had certain requests and were informed over the phone it was feasible but to type it in under the special instructions box when ordering. Everything was delivered as ordered and promised! No issues at all! Once we arrived we just called and the gentleman came out promptly to our car with a cart and our Easter brunch neatly and carefully packaged in sturdy brown handled paper bags. The kind gentleman showed us the reheating instructions and explained to us briefly the timing. He took care to inform us which bag to keep horizontal so it would not spill. It was stapled shut and handed to us in the horizontal position as well. Hence to avoid confusion and prevent disastrous spillage. This was greatly appreciated! The food was neatly and carefully packaged with each aluminum sturdy container marked with its contents. Once again very smart and greatly appreciated! We just had to pop in the entire container in the oven. No fuss, no muss. Most items ranged from 10-12 minutes to re-heat some 15-20 minutes. The quality and quantity of food did not disappoint!! Pricing is definitely not cheap but the amount and quality of food is without a doubt worth every penny!! Even better was that none of us had to cook! Win win!! EVERYTHING was delicious! But the real stars were the grand marnier bread pudding, which not everyone can get bread pudding right, but this was heaven on earth for sure! The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and a good size. The shrimp and andouille sausage shrimp and grits were hearty and delightful! Crab cakes with aioli.. slap me happy with seafood -very good! The food list goes on and on.. and I'm not complaining! The mushroom quiche with goat cheese was another big hit along with the breakfast foods of honey baked ham with pineapples and pecan and applewood bacon. We are soo full we haven't even tried the coconut pie! Thank you,Traditions, for helping to make our Easter a pleasant one with our bellies full and content. Feeling very blessed! Thank you, Jesus, and Amen!! P.S. Thank you Shawn Hoffman for calling us back to answer our questions!

My family hired Traditions to cater their business's company Christmas party at Chesapeake Golf…read moreClub that was last week. Everything was beautifully decorated. There were Christmas trees, Christmas lights strung, and the tables were gorgeous with green and red linens and white chinaware. Along the wall was a beautiful display of hors d'oeuves like artichoke and spinach dip with crackers and pita points, cheese, and fruit. The dip was delicious! They had coffee, lemonade, tea for drink. The servers gave out the salad. It was lovely display of greens with cucumber and tomato. On the table were the boats of ranch or Italian vinaigrette. This also was delicious. On the far back wall was where they had the buffet style dinner. They had roasted potatoes, rice pilaf, and asparagus for the sides. The potatoes and asparagus were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I didn't feel the same for the rice. It was completely tasteless and left me disappointed. The main entrees were roasted sirloin with horseradish sauce and a pepper crusted salmon with mango cilantro. The sirloin was not really hot and also not seasoned well enough. The sauce was delicious though. The salmon was picturesque. It looked like it was out of a cooking magazine, and I wanted to love this so much buuuut my salmon was just a tad undercooked. I want to make this clear: everyone I talked to enjoyed their meal. I had someone tell me their salmon was over cooked. I had another loved their roast. And another dislike it as much as I did. There was a complete mix of opinion when it came to their food. Maybe it was just the menu selection that was chosen. Anyway, this place was great! I'd definitely come back again. The servers were great, the decor was lovely. Come check them out!
